  1. Your hair looks great. Stay on the finasteride and minoxidil. You have responded well to those meds.
  2. You can't go wrong with either surgeon. What's the wait time for Dr. Gabel? Are you on meds to stabilize your hair loss?
  3. Based on the photos you've sent, I think 2k to 2.5 to the frontal 1/3 should work well. A lot of clinics are overly aggressive IMO and don't account for progressive hair loss. Has your hair loss stabilized from the meds?
  4. Awesome results. Looks completely natural and the hairline looks great. Thanks for sharing
  5. I have talked to some reputable surgeons and they've seen marked improvement with exosome therapy. I myself haven't don't have any experience with exosome therapy. But based on what I've heard from surgeons, it works well. If some other folks could chime in, that'd be great.
  6. You should start slowly and gradually work you way up to your full routine. The issue is primarily stretching the scar from a strip procedure. Even with FUE, you have micro-scars.
  7. I think FUE would be a great choice for you. Do you have any photos of your donor area you'd like to share? @JohnAC71has some great advice. In SoCal, you have some awesome choices.
  8. Would you like to share any photos? How many grafts? Here are the recommended surgeons in NY/NJ: https://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/Consult-a-Physician/surgeon-list/NY/New York
  9. I would suggest FUT for a few rounds and then FUE. Have you consulted with any surgeons? @JohnAC71and @Melvin- Moderatorhave provided a list of extremely skilled and reputable surgeons. Where in the US are you?
  10. I met this patient during my recent visit to Dr. True and Dr. Dorin's office. Thanks for sharing @orangehair. The results are even better in person. I could not believe it had only been 4 months with such phenomenal results. This is a true testament to the skillset of Dr. Dorin.
  11. First, welcome to the forum! The people here are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Whereabouts in New Mexico are you located?
  12. Thanks for sharing these pictures. It's very helpful. What's your age? Hair loss is unpredictable so I strongly suggest you get on finasteride and minoxidil. Here is the list of recommended surgeons: https://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/Consult-a-Physician/hair-transplant-surgeons.asp Please feel free to reach out anytime
  13. Thanks for the tag @JohnAC71. I agree with what Dr. Bisanga stated. His response truly shows that he's an ethical surgeon. He could have taken your money and done the surgery and your hair loss would have progressed without medical therapy and you would not have been happy. You need to tackle hair loss from a multifaceted approach. Without finasteride/minoxidil, you're fighting with 1 hand tied behind your back. If you're not able to tolerate oral finasteride, then try topical finasteride or topical dutasteride. As always, feel free to reach out anytime.
  14. You should definitely consult with @DrTBarghouthi. He consistently puts out amazing work and is very helpful and ethical.
  15. Thanks for the tag @JohnAC71. I don't see any photos from the poster. If the poster could share some photos, that would be great.
  16. You should try oral finasteride first and if you're getting side effects, switch to topical finasteride or topical dutasteride. The chances of side effects from oral finasteride are about 5% based on published data. My personal experience with my patients coincides with the published data as well.
  17. I definitely agree with what @JohnAC71said about @Dr. Vladimir Panine. Dr. Panine consistently puts out amazing results. Feel free to reach out anytime.
  18. I think the most promising avenue for hair loss treatment will be hair cloning and I think that'll happen in the next 10-15 years.
