This 28-year-old gentleman had a hair loss pattern similar to a class 3 on the Hamilton Norwood hair loss scale. His goal was to rebuild his hairline and add density to the frontal 1/3-1/2 of his scalp. Taking his age and hair loss into consideration we came upon an agreement for what would suite his expectations. After establishing his medical history and understanding the progression of his hair loss, I diagnosed his condition as Androgenetic Alopecia (male pattern baldness), ruling out any other possible dermatological or medical conditions which can cause hair loss. The patient’s goal was well suited to his needs and therefore I planned the surgery accordingly. I wanted to reconstruct a hairline that would be suitable for him as he continued to age. A total of 2,540 grafts were used. I used a significant amount of single hair follicular units which allowed me to create a very natural hairline. This action will allow him to comb his hair without anyone detecting that he has had anything done. These are his results 1 year post op. The patient is extremely happy with his results and is presently on Finasteride. YouTube Video

This 29-year-old gentleman had a hair loss pattern similar to a class 4v on the Hamilton Norwood hair loss scale. His goal was to rebuild his hairline and add density to the frontal 1/3-1/2 of his scalp. Taking his age and hair loss into consideration we came upon an agreement for what would suite his expectations. The patient’s goal was well suited to his needs and therefore I planned the surgery accordingly. I wanted to reconstruct a hairline that would be suitable for him as he continued to age. A total of 2,490 grafts were used. I used a significant amount of single hair follicular units which allowed me to create a very natural hairline. This action will allow him to comb his hair without anyone detecting that he has had anything done. After 2 years, he thinned more and we did a second procedure with another 2,069 grafts. Here are results one year after the second procedure. Patient is presently on Finasteride.

Back in 2011 this patient came to see me looking to have a hair transplant. At that time, he was similar to a class 3 on the Hamilton Norwood hair loss scale. His goal was to rebuild his hairline and add density to the frontal 1/3 of his scalp. Taking his age and hair loss into consideration we came upon an agreement for what would match his expectations. At that time, I did 2,105 grafts with a FUT surgery. He returned to see me in 2018 for a second surgery. At that time, his hair had slightly thinned over the last 7 years and was looking for more density. I determined it would be better to have a FUE procedure this time. He wanted to move forward and therefore we proceeded, augmenting his hairline and adding more density to the frontal ½ of his scalp with 2,505 FUE grafts. The photos presented are a series of pictures spanning from prior to his 1st procedure to 1-year post-op after his 2nd procedure.

This 34-year-old patient was a class 3v. He came to me wanting to rebuild his hairline and add density to the frontal 1/3 of his head. He elected to go with a FUE procedure. He received 3,195 grafts. These are his results 7-month post-op. The patient is extremely happy with his results. He does understand that there is a possibility he can lose more of his own hair over the years. He is presently taking Finasteride 1mg . https://youtu.be/UgG0GhoWzso

This gentleman was a class 3 prior to his hair restoration surgery. He came to me in 2013 wanting to rebuild his hairline and add density to the frontal 1/2 of his head. He elected to go with a FUE procedure. He had previously had a small procedure of around 600 FUE grafts. His goal was to be very conservative and rebuild his hairline as well as add more density to the frontal 1/3. We did 2,200 grafts in 2013 and his results turned out so good that he decided he wanted to get more density in 2016, so we did another 1,600 grafts. These are his results 1 year after his 1st procedure and 14 months after his 2nd procedure. The patient is extremely happy.

Hi Everyone - first time poster. I am a 32yom Norwood IV/IVa in the Chicago area considering FUE. Given my work schedule, I unfortunately have a very limited time period that I can get the procedure performed. I have searched the forums and understand that the recommended doctors are Drs. Konior, Keller, and Panine. Dr. Konior is no longer taking new consultation dud to his wait period. He has recommended Dr. Nadimi - I have not had a consultation and understand that she is new. I have consulted with RESTORE under Dr. Katona - and overall had a positive experience with realistic expectations and a price point that was within range (2000 FUE for approximately 12K). There have been no recent reviews of his work or discussion outside of him working on celebrities (Urlacher, Deion Sanders, Ryne Sandberg, etc). I was hoping people could comment on their experience with RESTORE, what are any hesitations going with them, and value (price for quality) relative to the others. Comments on the others would also be appreciated: 1. Dr. Katona/RESTORE 2. Dr. Nadimi (pricing same as Konior?, results?) 3. Dr. Keller 4. Dr. Panine

After many years of consideration I have decided to take the plunge and get a hair transplant. I live in Chicago and would prefer to go to someone in driving distance. From reading the posts it seems that Dr Konior is highly recommended and has given consistent excellent results over many years. I've also researched Drs Keller and Panini, however, posts on these doctors are quite dated. So my question is if people have any recommendations for an excellent FUE doctor in the Chicago area?
