  1. People who didn't see me for a while said "Rolandas, what the hell?!? It's so much hair! Wow, I didn't know it can be so good. Now people don't have to bald anymore" But others who see me quite often don't say anything. Nobody really cares too much. It's me who is obsessing haha. Of course once in a while they say that my hair transplant is a huge success (as I'm growing it longer and trying different hairstyles). But that's it.
  2. Month 9 Hope everyone is doing well guys. Here are a few things that you can find in the video: - comparisment of my hair transplant to fine hair with no baldness - few type of hairstyles I'm pulling off right now - dermmatch + hair fibers - close ups of my HT in 3 different light conditions - hair with shampoo | wet | towel-dry | air-dry Drop me a like if you appreciate such videos! Of course leave a comment with any questions/suggestions/ideas
  3. Appreciate that Sam! I agree my donor area is pretty good, but that's quite normal in Caucasians with finer hair. Thinner hair - more grafts available naturally. But this goes both ways. Finer hair - more grafts needed to achieve good coverage, thicker hair - less grafts needed to achieve good coverage. Although my hair appears to be somewhat lighter, it's not actually that light in reality. It's dark brown. I'm using light brown dermmatch and it makes my hair looks way too light. My girlfriend even told me the colour doesn't match at all and looks very obvious. I'm using dark brown hair fibers and they match perfectly. I do agree on naturalness with finer hair. This is a fact. I think a person with thin hair can achieve closest result to natural, but amount of grafts to be implanted in the area should be very big. I had 55 grafts/cm2 and I have a feeling it could have been 60+ (if we are talking about singles in the very front). That being said it doesn't mean hair transplant won't look natural with thick hair. I've seen plenty of examples that are unbelievably good if surgeon takes the hair from down the nape and around the ears to implant in the very front of the hairline. Also worth mentioning design. If you look closer, I've got so much micro-irregularities that creates this whole illusion of naturalness. In my opinion this is one of the biggest factors. Of course I attribute all of this success to Dr. Ferreira, as he knew exactly what and how to do in order to achieve it. In any way once again I appreciate your input and indeed people need to know the whole story in order to assess the case precisely!
  4. He said about 10k grafts. I didn't speak more about it but I assume this is the absolute maximum. I'm sure visible density of donor will drop very slightly compared to what I had before any HT. In the end it's a lot of hair missing, but it still should look good if extraction pattern is good. After my second surgery where I will use another 2500 grafts or so we will see how my donor will look like. In total it will be a bit over 6000 grafts, so can have a good idea how donor will look if another 4000 grafts could be removed.
  5. Haha really? Small area to cover, and of course, there was nothing to look at back then, but yeah, big difference. Thanks god I had lots of multi grafts Btw went out today and look what I came up with: A bit of dermmatch, a bit of fibers, a bit of hair styling product and a bit of hair spray. Can't believe how good it looks.
  6. Appreciate that! It was super windy and I decided to get this opportunity and film it Pretty good for 8.5 months for area that was completely bald + extra thin hair!
  7. Everyone is saying water is bad for HT as it will look thin, but for me, I actually like the way my HT looks when it's slightly wet. My hair looks darker and somewhat pleasant. It doesn't look very thin! Might get this done on my 9 month update
  8. Looks really good! God if you compare yourself just 3 months ago it's such a huge improvement! Indeed Eugenix is an outstanding choice (although only going for the most expensive package which is around 2.9€/graft). You've got really strong beard under your chin, so this will give you a huge boost in mid scalp as a filler as it's quite thick. Of course you still need to wait until 12 months and beyond as you will keep seeing more improvement, but in the end I think around 2000 grafts will be a nice touch to finish it off. Good luck!
  9. 8.5 months It's coming on really really nicely! When I saw myself on 2-4 months after my surgery I was a bit shocked how bald I was! In this video: - New haircut! (2 barbers are shocked over my donor area!) - Q/A - Close-ups in different light conditions for realistic look - Experiment: My hairline looks completely different depending where is the light source Beware when you're looking at different pictures or videos when trying to decide on surgeon/clinic. Keep in mind where the light source is as it will completely change the way hairline looks! I truly hope my "experiments" and different things I showcase in the videos are helping a lot of guys. So many are reaching out to me on a daily basis and this motivates me to keep doing what I'm doing. Thanks for watching!
  10. I must admit your donor area looks amazing... I bet you have another 7000 grafts available if not more! I'm also very jealous of your temporal peaks! Seems like they didn't miniaturise at all. It will look really good after just 3-4 months!
  11. The way I see it - every surgeon does everything in their own way. It's highly unregulated industry. I can just confirm that I was expecting pain 9/10 during the first shots of anesthesia, but to my surprise I had like 2/10 at best. By the end of the surgery anesthesia was wearing off, so I started feeling drilling my donor or incisions in recipient a bit more, but it wasn't painful, but rather you can actually feel something piercing your skin with no pain. Weird feeling Of course I've told this to Dr. Ferreira and he topped up my anesthesia.
  12. Pain free anesthesia? I think it was just a regular anesthesia, but the way he does it feels like pain-free
  13. I'm talking with him over the email on brunoferreira@brunoferreira.com (looks hilarious i know 😁) I know he has an assistant now that does some emails. I think best place is to check his website https://brunoferreira.com
  14. I'm 99% sure. Haven't asked specifically (although during the surgery I was asking him so many questions, might as well slipped through while being half conscious haha). According to my extractions I've got some grafts extracted lower around the ears and quite low on the nape. Although my hair is naturally very thin, I can definitely tell my frontal hairline hair looks thinner than immediately behind it. I'm still unsure whether or not they will just mature, so I guess I will know for sure after another 4 months
  15. Oh yes, He has this "alien" looking like futuristic microscope that is super easy to use. His techs even showed me my grafts under this microscope
  16. I would say my editing is less "lazy" as it was before. I'm putting more and more work into it. I've been editing videos for many years here and there, but artistic notes of course are improving I appreciate your comment, this keeps me going! Been discussing with friend today how successful my HT is. He said it looks very natural, it doesn't look like there were any issues. Of course if I would go in and expose then you would be able to see some see-through, but nothing in life is perfect right?
  17. That's what she said! For now I'm growing it out to slick back and cover mid scalp and crown. After 2nd surgery I guess I will experiment with different length. So far people are saying I was looking great at 5 month mark as my hair wasn't very long
  18. 8 Month (Week 35) What's up people, hope everyone is doing well. Here's my 8 month update video with a little Q/A. As always I'm sharing my detailed result with High Quality close ups. This time however I messed up a bit with my camera setting (tried 60fps 4k). Indoors it struggles a bit with auto-focus. Will make sure to address this from my next video! As always hit me up with comments & questions. If you enjoy my content make sure to like & subscribe, that would be amazing!
  19. Hey man, Waiting list was around 4-5 months if I recall correctly. Although I've heard now it's much longer. I completely dropped minoxidil before my surgery and didn't come back. Will plan to get back to it after 2nd HT. More info on why I'm doing what I'm doing and future plans in this video
  20. Did you even had hair loss? O_O One of the best results I've seen!
  21. Hey man, appreciate your kind words. I certainly understand where you stand right now. I've been there! Even my brain is playing tricks on me, and I knew very well what I'm signing for! Different surgeons are using different approaches. According to studies theres no significant difference for grafts to be out of the body between 30 min and 4-5 hours. Also worth mentioning that Dr. Lupanzula is producing outstanding results on a consistent basis, so regardless of his approach you should expect the same result. If this would be such a big deal, all of the top surgeons would switch their approach. For what's worth, I had both in the same surgery. On my first day around 1800 grafts been extracted and then all of them been implanted. Due to lots of popping on the first day (my skin is very elastic) Dr. Ferreira changed his approach and did around 400-500 grafts extracted and immediately implanted. So I had both approaches and by the looks of it everything is growing in a similar fashion. Dont worry about it, it's not worth it. In 5 months you will be looking back and laughing about it 😉
  22. Holy cow! Completely different person. Still few months of improvement left!
