Worth reaching out to all of them. Dr. Ferreira is doing repairs as few people contacted me who needed it. You can also add Dr. Lupanzula & Dr. Bisanga in Belgium. They both do lots of repairs coming from Turkey. I've seen some great repairs from Lupanzula. Dr. Lorenzo in Spain probably does it all the time. Prices will be different due to it being a repair job. I've heard Dr. Ferreira is charging something like €5000 if it will take 1 surgical day. Not sure if that's across the board or just for that specific guy. I think most surgeons would charge minimum/average what they make in 1 surgical day ( i might be wrong though). It looks like your donor is overall very good with lots of grafts and thick hair. I'd say it's possible to homogenise the look quite easily with either beard grafts (so you keep scalp grafts for the future should you need), or relocating scalp hair to the scars. Nevertheless i think such job require high skill. Best of luck

Not sure where do you see "NW6, maybe going to NW7". This is clear NW5 with strong lateral humps and overall donor. Crown doesn't go deep. Worst case scenario in the future - NW6 if not on meds, but nothing close to NW7. Not everyone would go full blown NW7. @nightowll I think if you don't do anything about stopping further hair loss, then be conservative, go for FUT and make the most out of each graft. I think one good strip can yield about 5000 grafts (if head is big enough) taken from ear to ear, so it would be possible to cover the whole area in one go. Of course don't expect it to be perfect, as no 1 transplant is perfect and most people will pursue 2nd and 3rd to finish the look, but it will give you a new hairline and good coverage.

Seems like your donor recovered well. Happy to see it. Crown looks pretty good compared to where you started. I think a sprinkle of hair fibers and you have full set of hair. Great base for 2nd HT or concealers overall.

Now this is some of the pictures I love to see. Good quality close ups that show the 100% truth about your hair transplant and I must say, this looks pretty incredible. Curly hair definitely gives you favors in terms of density! Hairline is reconstructed really nicely too with nice micro-irregularities.

I think these were compressed too much or send via social media, so quality decreased. I think we all here are hairline nerds who wants to see more haha

It's very unlikely that all hair will start to grow at the same time, and if you understand hair cycles, you're at the stage when the hair just STARTS to really grow and sprout through the skin. HT is forcing grafts to go into premature tellogen effluvium (although some people have very strong follicles that don't go into tellogen phase and just keep growing), so they shed and start to grow after around 100 days. From seeing hundreds of people asking same question I have no doubt you should expect great deal of new hair in the next 4-8 weeks considering where you are already. I also did my own comparisment video to the famous " Hair Transplant growth timeline" with my comments. I think you will find it very informative and also encouraging as you will see what the future hold for you

They do mostly 2 people per day, not one, even though they widely advertise it everywhere (1 patient a day). Countless of people found themselves next to another guy. They're staggering it as tech is doing extractions and surgeon - implantations.

Not that I'm saying end result isn't natural. It's a home run for sure. Singles in the hairline are doing it's work. If I will get something similar I'd be over the moon. I've been following Dr. Freitas work for a few years, highly underestimated doctor.

I was so excited until I saw rows implanted in the hairline... Is there a specific reason why Dr. Freitas likes to implant in such way? Surely we don't see in nature hair growing one next to another in a rows as such? What is the hair caliber for this patient? End results looks pretty good. I'm looking myself at 6000-6500 grafts overall on NW5a and think i might get something similar.

Imagine a small head haha Strip won't yield a lot of grafts. I could have gone FUT & then FUE, for sure, but just like I said FUE can yield similar amount if not the same like FUT is that I would need to get another surgery later on ANYWAYS, so I opted for FUE. I'm sure FUT would be an amazing option too, but not that far off from FUE.

My opinion: FUE & FUT can yield the same amount of grafts, but FUT would allow more Permanent grafts as they all come from the middle. It would be absolutely impossible to extract exact same amount of grafts from the very same "sweet spot" with FUE as this would leave 1 huge linear scar. So in FUE you'd need to take it from all over. Also when doing FUE you'd definitely need to get out of standard safe zone NOT just to extract more grafts, but also to make your donor look good. If you focus on NW7 donor and get 7000 grafts from there, it will create obvious drop in density between safe and non safe zone, even if it's done correctly. That being said, FUE will always have chance of miniaturization, albeit small chance if patient donor has been evaluated properly beforehand and extractions are done accordingly. My case as an example. I'm NW5a. Extractions are done within NW6 area. If I go to NW6 I could possibly get some miniaturization in some grafts taken from the outskirts. Now, results will definitely look much more natural with FUE as you've got variety of grafts to play with as opposed to FUT thickest grafts (even singles). Also worth mentioning that FUT is as close to "one and done" scenario as possible. if you have great donor and big head, you can easily get 6000 grafts strip and cover whole top. With FUE this wouldn't be possibly, except very few outliers that have exceptional donor. In FUE you'd need to be careful how many extractions are done in each cm2 in order to avoid permanent shock loss. So FUT would take you to the end result much faster, than FUE could. Personally I wanted to go with FUT at first, but after Dr. Bisanga analyzed my scalp and said my hair is small and strip wouldn't yield more than 4k grafts, I've decided to go FUE route and praying on my genetics not to get worse while doing my best to prevent further hair loss.

From what I've seen lots of surgeons say FUE donor recovery time is about 6 months. So if recipient area on both surgeries will be completely different, then there's no harm in getting it in 6 months. But personally I think waiting 12 months is better if you're not in a rush as you will be able to assess results from the first one and if needed you can add more in the weaker areas. We all know there isn't 100% survival rate, so chances are after 1st HT it won't be perfect. That's what I'm doing personally anyways.

HOI is a "flavour". You know it's HOI work from a mile away as every hairline is pretty much copy paste, straight, quite aggressively low, most of the time no temple point reconstruction, so hairline starts and finishes behind the ears. Their main selling point is really dense looking hairlines and giving to people what they want, although these people don't realize they will look hilarious when they're 50. I've seen one guy that went to HOI telling to another older guy "you can't rock this hairlines as you're old, but this guy is young, he can get such hairline". Just read it again and really think what it means.... The reason their hairlines are very thick is simple. They implant lots of doubles and triples at the front of the hairline. It doesn't have micro irregularities for the most part and implanted very densely. Combine dense packing with doubles and triples and you get great density, but how natural it looks? Well, we don't see it in nature, but people couldn't care less, so at the end of the day if you're happy with this, then why not. They seem to be pretty consistent with their work, although I've seen 2 guys that had very questionable quality (one guy in particular just wanted to rebuild his hairline, but techs ended up implanting a ton of grafts into his temple points and SIDE BURNS.... And he got overharvested pretty badly too). I do think though their tactics are really suitable for afro type hair and as others said already, extremely curly hair are forgivable, and generally you don't see actual points where the hair is coming out, so implanting lots of doubles and triples works in their favour. There's always a danger of such places. I always say, the more patients per day, the less consistency you will see. Look at the work that's done. Done look at it just "he didn't have hair, now he does", unless of course that's your main goal. But if you want natural result, then look how hairlines are rebuild, are there any micro-irregularities, how many singles in the hairline, are there any multi grafts in there, what's the proportions of the hairline, is it framed well together with temple points? Can't go super low if temples aren't done too. How donor management looks. And last, how crown looks like? I'm yet to see any crown work from them. Friend of mine contacted them and asked questions about hair loss and they said "no need to take finasteride. When you lose more hair, just come back for another transplant". Decide for yourself what this means. That being said, it's all just my opinion and observation. Take it with a grain of salt.

12 Months What's up folks. For those of you who was following my journey, I finally reached 12 months (full growth)! Having very thin hair comes with it's own challenges and when I was doing this video I spotted something that looks like thinning. This probably is just my natural hair caliber taken from the sides and back, but also could be thinning 🤔 Anyways this is my full review and analysis. Enjoy the vid!

Thanks! Killian is great addition to hair loss community indeed. I don't even have Dr. pen device actually, but planning to start using one after my 2nd HT for maintenance. I was using simple dermaroller before my surgery. Since I have to stop it and cant' really microneedle for number of months after surgery I decided not to do it in between 1st & 2nd HT's.

To be honest, nobody would ever see any doubles in the hairline due to your hair characteristics. It's mostly visible with straight/wavy hair styled up, but yours have pretty good kink to it. 6 months is just the beginning and you will be surprised he much better it will get in the end.

Indeed. I think that was the initial point that sold me out on Dr. Ferreira from his initial email with assessment as I'm kind of a nerd too in terms of HT. Can't wait to get this done and see the result
