Most of the times my hair is flat like that .. that’s why I don’t like it that much . I wanted a dense wall up front so when my hair gets thinner Up I can disguise it .. but It’s good enough .. is it $20,000 worth ? Not really .. but It’s not worth the hassle of doing anything more until I bald more ..

It’s good enough .. I didn’t get fukked up .. n it’s not see through .. The hairline is pretty natural .. u can’t really tell that I got a ht , the microirregularites he put in the hairline n it’s staggered place, I say it’s good quality . Technically tho, is this 2500 grafts ? U can count the hairs .. that’s not 5000 hairs .

Hey guys I need ur help .. I’m attaching the same pics I sent to the clinic .. to me , this is no way 2500 grafts , 5000 hairs.. what’s u guys think? I’m thinking 1800 -2000 max grafts .. the middle section is missing a lot of hair to me .. top two pics are the section that was transplanted . N I never cut the transplanted hair .. just let it grew .. so those are all the hairs .. it actually looks pretty good , natural .. but the volume is not there .. it’s hard for my hair to stay up .. i feel like I need about 400- 500 more grafts .. I give it a B overall ..

I’m In northern Cali , so people haven’t taken it as seriously yet .. we have a lot of open land so it’s easier to avoid others .. I get to work at home , so I’m feeling kinda safe .. but my sister in law works at a nursing home .. n she has to work n she’s scared every time she goes there .. chances of her getting it n infecting her family when she goes back home . Is kinda high ,. I stay up to dAte on the news n stuff n things don’t usually worry me .. but I’m worried about this . My workplace at first gave us 2 weeks off for emergency leave , now things escalated so fast in the last two weeks .. they extending it to 120 days of sick leave .. I work for the largest dental insurance company in America , so if the execs have made that decision , they expecting things to get really bad .

This virus 🦠 is going to affect everyone at one point .. It’s not even about u dieing from the virus .. u be shunned by ur community , people going to avoid u , cuz they fear u going to give it to them .. n they should . im in Cali n we got shelter in , n people still shopping n doing regular activities ,, n there’s no cure for a highly contagious virus .. we are just the beginning of shit hitting the fan . it’s like trump said it’s just going to magically disappear .. 3 weeks later 2000+ deaths in US.. n we just starting ,. so be smart ,. One month from now .. we see how serous it’s going to get .. because we going to get there .. we doing nothing to prevent it from spreading .. n it doesn’t magically diasppear ..

I read Andre Agassi’s book Melvin .. n he said he hanged upside down everynight for many years to hope that blood supply flows to his head to prevent him from balding .. unfortunately he Went pretty bald around 25 ,, it affected him that much losing his hair .. that he would do this ,. Remember when he had awesome long hair , I totally feel why losing his hair would have such a big impact on him ,; even with all that money fame .. it hurted him emotionally losing his hair .,

Hey y’all, I just re read the first pAge of my post n it was In 2018 .. what an adventure .. so I’ve been always straight up n blunt with u guys .. so here are my pics .. some good n some bad, just to show the true nature of a hairtransplant .. some days I feel like damn it doesn’t look too bad .. n some days I think 2500 grafts didn’t grow.. but overall it’s much better than before .. the last two years I spent worrying about my hair .. now I just don’t care .. I don’t look bald anymore .. my hair could be better so I can be handsome again .. but I’m 40 now , so even if I had the greatest don’t change that I’m pass my prime .. so great looks isn’t as important anymore , I just don’t want to look ugly . I’ve been a good looking man all my life ( says the girls ) so Just maintaining a decent standard is fine by me .. so yeah I’m glad I went through with the surgery, I don’t know how they do it , those hairs are so tiny n fragile .. I guess that’s why the clinics charge big bucks for a hair restoration . It’s not simple work , n lots of things can go wrong in many phases of this game .. .. well anyways ,. Do u guys think this is 2500 grafts ? I think it’s more like 1800-2000 ..

Look at Italy .. United States will be like that in a month .. n when the president of Germany says 50-70 million Germans will get infected .. don’t take it lightly .. it might not hurt u, but a lot of small businesses are going to be hurt when no customers come .. n a vaccine is not available for 1 year .. that’s bad.. of all the people that gotten it n recovered , I haven’t heard anything about them not being carriers after that .. so u see why this is dangerous? Just cuz u healthy enough to survive it ., it doesn’t mean ur body didn’t get fukked up .. u just didn’t die .. some people that didn’t die, says their lung capacity is 20 percent damaged forever . So be smart just cuz u didn’t die , don’t mean ur body didn’t suffer everlasting damage that will cause u to die sooner than before .

The US government said there won’t be a vaccine until 1 to 1.5 years later .. they are expecting almost everyone to catch it. It’s only a matter of time , they are just trying to not get everyone sick all at once , the hospitals won’t be able to handle it .. I think it’s a good time to ask for discounts if u have an appointment scheduled . U r taking a big risk.. all those hands on u for hours .

I update you guys also soon .. they my clinic, n I put my trust and money in them , , so I have to respect them enough to communicate with them first . 🧐. But thanks y’all, I learned a lot from everyone n appreciate y’all .. u guys my secret friends .. my balding brothers .. hahah

I post some pictures in a few days .. to be honest i was hoping for more .. I doubt it if 2500 grafts grew .. maybe 1800-2000 .. it’s not as puffy as others ,, where their hair stick up .. but I usuAlly comb my hair forward ., I look better that way , so I’m satisfied enough .. but yeah I was hoping for more , I honestly think finasteride helped my hair a lot more .. n if I gotten on it sooner I wouldn’t of needed a hair transplant .. whether I’m happy or not probably depends on what H n W says , I haven’t spoken to them For a few months now .. since my hair ain’t bad n it ain’t great .. knowing what I know now .. having a hair transplant ain’t all that scary .. I should of been more prepared n go overseas n save me some money .. I think the only reason u should pay for such a High cost in the states is if u need the customer service In case something goes wrong .. I’m a low maintenance kind of guy .. so I don’t need none of that .. just get the job done ..

As tempting as it is to fill in ur corners now .. I personally would pass .. if u were in ur mid 30’s n on meds at ur current state .. yeah go for it if I have the funds .. u be at lower risk for aggressive rescission.. but since u are young n ur family history Is bald ! Then u were smart to hop on propecia n rogaine to slow the loss .. Right now it’s not about waiting for years to get a transplant .. but it’s about watching how ur hairloss progress .. because more than likely ur forelock will thin out a bit to catch up to ur corners .. then I I would be time to get a ht .. when u are bald enough to get around 2000-2200k grafts go get that frontal band .. zones 1 n 2 . That would make a cosmetic difference .. but if u just doing the corners .. u setting urself up for surgery #2 sooner thAn later ..

U better hop on finasteride ASAP .. ur type of hairloss can be saved with meds .. since it’s diffuse thinning .. n by the looks of things ur hair might go sooner than u hope . N hairtransplants won’t be ideal for u .. so don’t think u can get one n u be good .. ur hairloss is diffuse all over so u will have to wait till it becomes bald .. u have small hairs all over u just don’t see it clearly .. n those hairs will get in the way of the donor hair . Just like me hairline was thinning .. but the hairs were still there n clinics didn’t want to work on me till it got balder .. . so meds is ur best bet right now ..

Yeah it’s the next step up from PRP .. same theory .. it’s the same As PRP but it’s more efficient .. they Are only taking the nutrients that is specific to treating hairloss n growth .. looks like u going to be out of a job Melvin .. Heheheh j/k

Thanks y’all . it looks good enough I’m satisfied .. what I learned from this though .. is when u dense pack it .. the hairs take a long time to mature.. them hairs be fighting for that blood supply .. that’s why I noticed even though most the grafts grew by 6th month .. they didn’t grow long or mature for a few more months .. good thing I had a good surgeon n donor hair .. or I would of had a lot of more dead grafts .. and I also learned u don’t really need a lot of grafts placed to get good coverage ..

Yeah I agree with u Melvin .. fuk that doctor . If I were to be bald kind Bruce Willis .. my hairloss would of shown signs of a norwood 4-5 around age 30 .. im at 40 n I was a norwood 2-3 .. with diffused thinning overall.. but not too diffused .. anyways .. I’m fortunate I only had to exerperience baldness for 1 year before I got a transplant .. so I’m more fortunate than most of y’all .. especially the younger lads that had to go through this early in life .. well here is my 11th month mark .. to celebrate I went and bought the redken pomade that Melvin uses .. n styled my hair . Looks pretty good .. I spend 2 minutes to do my hair ..

U are krazy to transplant that much hair to your beard .. I hope u have a full head of hair n never grow bald .. or u be taking hairs from the beard to out it back in ur head later in life .. .. u going to have that red mark for months ,, but once ur hair grows it won’t be as noticeable though . Best of luck ..

P.s. that doctor probably got fired .. first, don’t let ur patients be smarter than u .. n have some common sense n use some Customer service n thoughtfulness when dealing with sensitive issues .. .. n even if I ever go bald .. I still got a lot more prettier girls than that doctor ever did in my lifetime

Melvin .. I’m not lookin to have another transplant in life .. but that was My thinking , the nAive me 2 years ago as a norwood 2 at 38 years old .. It’s like I had a full head of hair all my life n no one in my family was above a norwood 2.. it’s not when I went into see my dermatologist at Kaiser so he can approve my finasteride prescription .. I told him I was worried about my hairloss .. n what did he think of it ., dude just blurted our oh u going to be bald ., like Bruce Willis .. I was like are u sure ? It’s not that bad ! He was like oh yeah u are .. that was the first time in my life I was ever depressed about my hair .. I had good hair all my life . N I’m aging , naturally in my eyes .: n this dude with a degree .. thinking he knows more Than me .. never asked my age . Barely looked at my medical history .. telling me n kinda snickering to my face I’m going to be totally bald.. okay .. this 28 y/o Asian doctor With a full head of hair .. probably has no experience with hairloss giving me advice .. .. n I’m Asian too .. just so u don’t think I’m racist .. I tooked his word for it .. so I told him I wanted finasteride to prevent my hairloss .. n he didn’t know nothing about it .. he had to look it up online . It’s like what the fuk is this.. I had to educate this doctor about the #1 prescribed medication. That’s FDA approved for hairloss , n I’m supposed to go to him for advice ? This always pissed me off n he dared called me going totally bald .. when I had an online consultation.with doctor rassman that betted me a million dollars that I won’t be totally bald .. anyways at the end of the consultation he prescribed me finasteride n patted me on my back n said I was the most knowledgeable person he knows about hairloss ..but that’s not how I want to feel when I leave my doctors office .. like I’m Smarter than him .. Anyways 6 months later when I had to renew my finasteride subscription .. my kaiser dermatologist doctor wasn’t working there anymore .. so I had to get a new doctor .. this time I chosed a bald doctor that has experience with hairloss .. cuz he knows our struggle anyways .. Sorry I rant sometimes because I like to drink n chat with y’all .. but moral of the story is .. if u have medical issues .. hair or body or mind n whatever .. no one knows more about ur body than u .. so don’t go into ur medical surgeries or medicines blindly .. only u know what’s best for u .. so do ur research ..

Hey shook n hairloss pa .. good to hear from y’all .. u guys are good people .. hope u doing well .. .. :) from my own personal opinion .. n what I learned from online n this forum .. at first I was naive , n tried to blame minor things .. n also bought expensive nutrients . N a laser cap .. I also stopped using hairspray , n other hair products with chemicals in it that could damage my hair .. but nah .: it’s the dht .. it’s what is miniaturizing my hAir .. it’s not as coarse as it used to be.. this my 2 year anniversary on propecia .. it has slowed down the hair fall .. but it has not made the thinning hairs get thicker .. so I’m scared . N hairtransplants can only replace half of what U lost.. so it’s worrisome .: but if I can do this again .. yeah I spend the $20,000 to dr hasson n company .. they did a good job ..

Hey Matt .. yeah it doesn’t look like 5000 hairs ... that’s what not making me totally satisfied with spending $20,000 .. but it’s better than before so imma not complain .. 2500 grafts @2 hairs per graft was the calculated amount .. = 5000 hairs . Overall though .. I’m pretty happy .. I probably got 2200-2300” grafts grown .. there’s still a few hundred hairs that is still short but when they grow longer it will be a nice cosmetic upgrade .. when I think about it .: I’m happy we are in an era of our life where we are not stuck with them damn plugs .. the hairtransplant industry has really made progress .. but still, I’m scared of future hairloss ..
