  1. No I don't believe that all are but I also don't believe that liking one precludes their inability to like the other either. Women have a tendency to say the least hurtful truth, I like the soft gentle guy cause my guys the soft gentle guy, my friends that, he's going to be a little more offended if i tell him the guy that gets my motor running is the guy who is totally the opposite of him and that he'll never be like. I'm not saying all do that but these guys didn't become the leading men they are if women didn't find them appealing so it's naive to think none of them did and that you want to cling to the idea that only guys like you get them excited is a nonsensical as anything you think I'm saying. If your girl is a short white girl and you want that relationship to last are you going tell her your dream girls are Beyonce and Rihanna? lets be real
  2. Excellence comes with a price. You get a botched nose job you look like crap but they can fix it, you get a bad hair transplant you lose grafts, there is no getting those back, your odds of getting a full head of hair again go down and many times the cheap clinics don't stand behind the work in the event it doesn't go ideally so most of us lean on the idea of picking the best most ethical doctors and saving up to afford them vs finding what we can afford right now and settling for that. You can find cheaper alternatives who are quite talented in other countries where labor costs are lower, cost of living lower, overhead costs are lower but you spoke specifically of your country the UK and Europe, which is generally higher in cost...Europe includes Turkey which is one of the cheaper options but Turkey is a fue hub, not a place known for it's top notch fut doctors. That's not to say there might not be some, there is Dr Karandeniz who was approved here at one point but decided to promote himself on more Euro centric forums so that's an option if you want to look cheaper, but I can't speak for the quality of his work just that he was approved here... or you may have to expand your search horizons into places like India where the are some solid fut options. As for cheaper in the UK, I dont know the docs you mentioned, that doesnt mean they arent good or couldn't be good but we tend to recommend known commodities, if you want to take a risk thats your choice, but I won't say use so and so unless I know they're good. I am not personally trusting the before and afters a clinic shows you in house cause every shit clinic can produce those, I want to read reviews on sites like these, I want to see patient reports so if you can't find those I would be weary. That's just general advice, there are a number of forums, gasthroer shared one, but theres an italian forum, spanish forum, read around and see if any of the other names pop up and see if you can find feedback if you don't see it on this forum.
  3. oh wow, you went back for a 2nd go around? What did they give as their reasons for an unsuccessful first procedure? I wish you the best chev!!
  4. congratulations on the new hospital Dr Bhatti. Looks like a great new home base!
  5. I'm sure you were the biggest they'd ever been with too I'm playin with ya but you gotta know by now what a woman says and actually thinks don't always line up
  6. If you're around New York I would also definitely check in with Dr Wesley, very good doc. I can't say Ive heard of Dr Frank but I would agree with the rest that Huebner is one to bypass. He's the protege of a doc who was scandalous to say the least and concerns of his skill and dubious marketing tactics precede him. For your own safety you can do better. Diep is a fine doc, I like him less as a fut doc I think you can get a doc who does fut primarily where I think Dieps practice is largely fue today and hes one of the best in the US at it but I would want one of the best FUT docs for my hair if im doing fut. I very much like the Bloxham, Cooley recommendations for fut tho.
  7. These questions have been answered over and over so it didn't need an official thread just someone to use the search engine but here ya go. Europe is generally known for its fue but there are excellent fut surgeons as well. I won't know every price cause I didn't get fut but because I've seen them posted so often I know some of them and know enough to know who does good work. if you want to stick to the UK, these are a couple of the better known clinics with solid track records Dr Balls clinic, 4 pounds per graft to start and and it lowers the more grafts you place Farjo clinic does fut, don't know the price, contact them for a consult in Europe Dr Bisanga 3 euros and it drops from there the more you get. Dr Feriduni 5 euros to start and drops from there Dr DeVroye around 4 euros dropping from there contact him for exact pricing Hattingen clinic, I dont know this one as well but member gasthroer has mentioned them a few times and likes their work so I'll mention them they're a little under 4 euro per
  8. thank you for bringing this information to our attention meetyourmaker. This is such a new clinic to most of us that we don't know the full story yet. I hope for the op's sake this result is outstanding but I know I'll continue to watch this clinic with a critical eye until such time they've established a consistent track record of success if they ever do.
  9. Results, but usually when you're picking a doctor you are interested in what his technique is as well so I was just surprised you didn't know what it was . You won't go wrong with Erdogan.
  10. You can't argue the yields with the pens, it's consistently yielding high numbers, there is something to the gentler action on the grafts. Good to know about keep.
  11. This isn't entirely true, a few maybe but many not even close. You would have to have insanely bad luck for most of your 2 hairs to be half in a telogen phase and presenting themselves as singles. Joe just over hypes this point as another reason his fue doc should be your choice as he knows most of the top fue Euro docs don't use them. Talk to joe and he'll also tell you why the coverage value systems are bad and on and on, he's about his bottom line, there is some element of truth to what he's saying but he overstates how much of an issue it really is. Erdogans clinic doesn't use microscopes so I doubt this clinic does either and if it were really an issue they wouldn't be knocking out the hairlines they are (speaking of asmed as I dont know iohs work well enough), they'd look clunky with doubles and triples masquerading as singles.
  12. lol isn't Erdogan your first choice, shouldn't you know this by now? Keep is the the Koray Erdogan Embedding placer or something like that. The theory behind it is, Docs like Lorenzo get incredible yields because of the implanter pen he uses being gentler on the grafts than traditional forceps. The downside was that implanter pens supposedly couldn't get the natural hair angles that slits could so Keep basically is a hybrid of the 2, they use slits to make channels and hold the grafts in the gentler pen system and place them in. The implanter pen that most of the spanish docs use is a one step process, they punch the hole and embed the hair in one motion where keep is a 2 step approach taking both of the best elements from each approach.
  13. definitely keep updating this, I've been waiting to see some works from this clinic. Having the asmed training system behind them should lead to some good results. What are they using to implant, are they using the keep system that Erdogan is running now?
  14. good god do not take the touch up. All you need to do is waste another 2k grafts with them. That is unacceptable work, there is varying levels of underwhelming but this is a complete miss. Somebody just not yielding ideally you can live with that but getting little to nothing out of 4k grafts is wrong, this clinic should be refunding in entirety so you can head elsewhere.
  15. there are options in both. in Belgium... Drs DeVroye, Bisanga and Feriduni all do excellent fut work in the UK, Dr Ball in Thailand theres, Dr Pathomvanich
  16. hey now, some of us older guys are still killin it in the dating scene and need our thick locks too
  17. This exactly... your reaction isn't based on anything that is occurring or not occurring with your transplant, it is simply your anxiety over being helpless over the situation that is eating at you. You are right where you should be at 4 months. Look we can't promise you that it's going to be perfect at 8 months but given it's progression it looks to be on track and you'll likely be looking back at your posts thinking I was being silly for no reason but if worst case scenario happens and that isn't the case you can complain then and you won't find any more supportive people than us...but we've been thru this, where you're at is normal...you don't have a choice but to do the time now so stop stressing yourself out and go thru it.
  18. A doctor has to choose to undergo the approval process and once approved by the forum members they have to pay to be on the list...some docs don't want their work scrutanized, some docs don't want to pay or they're already in demand enough that they don't need to. Whatever their reasons that is there choice but that doesn't mean we can't still think highly of them or recommend them to other patients. The approved list is a good starting reference point to begin your search but it is not the end all be all list of elite surgeons and not everybody on it is an elite surgeon.
  19. well you answered your question in part then. If you're a patient with a limited donor and large loss you're usually not looking to have fue, but fut initially to maximize your graft counts with fue down the line when you're a lower nw. If it's one or the other, large loss and healthy donor or weak donor but limited loss you'll find plenty of examples from many of the top fue docs Erdogan included but if somebody just isn't a good candidate for fue then the doctors aren't going to do the procedure.
  20. This. I like both of the other doctors but for fut, this was a 2 horse race between Wong and Konior. If you have the time and budget, it's a one horse race go with Konior. If you don't have the patience or the budget, then Wong is a great plan 1B
  21. The trauma from the 2nd surgery may have caused some of the hairs from the first transplant to enter into the telogen phase so it may look a little weaker but that can and should rebound.
  22. lol you haven't even seen the 4 month pic and you're already telling him to worry. Come on
