  1. The grafts appear to be spread kind of thin. It is hard to tell through the hair but it does not appear to be densely packed. Be patient & keep us posted.
  2. Pawan, Welcome! If your marriage is set for November it is to late to get a HT at this point. Your scalp may not be healed in 2 to 3 months & it is not enough time to give you any benefit. In fact it will probably look worse for several months I would also not start taking any hairloss medications like Propecis prior to the wedding because you will probably experience shedding & your hair may appear even thinner. I suggest you use a concealer if you want your hair to appear more dense. Try Dermatch at this point. Congatulations on your pending marriage & Good luck! Atomic
  3. No really decent pics before or after to base an opinion on this good or bad. But i guess if roots is happy...that works.
  4. Of course you should not have gotten a HT...You didn't need one. Thats why you feel it looks worse than when you started because now it's not natural anymore. So now your wearing a hat to cover obvious work that you didn't need. I know this doesn't help but thats my 2 cents worth.
  5. bereft, I would skip the GP & get a consultation with a Hair transplant surgeon either in person or online. It's usually no cost for a consult from A HT Dr. but your GP will probably charge you. Try one of the great Doctors from this network. Good luck pal.
  6. Get the right kind of hat. You want a structured hat with a high profile not one of those floppy ones. The structured hat is like a dome over your head & never touches your scalp. I worked outside in heat with no problems for 3 months.
  7. Give it another 7 months & you will be very happy I'm sure!
  8. Hey seeking. Never heard of Dr. Jones & I don't believe he is a coaltion member. You should also check out Dr. Scott Alexander in Phoenix. He is well respected on this forum & like Dr. Keene is also a coalition Dr. Good luck & do some more research. Atomic
  9. NW6guy, I am/was a NW6 as well & I know what real expectations should be. If your like me you are contemplating your next HT. By the way I like the hairstyle in the second pic of your first set of anniversary pics. You also took some very revealing pics from the back & sides, but the ones from the front are really what people see first & they look good. If I took pics like yours mine would also reveal a lot of real estate that needs coverage. But like you, I am happy just to look in the mirror & see that hairline! Enjoy! Atomic
  10. My opinion is that this is a successful Hair transplant. From where he started this is an excellent result. It frames his face & that is all that can really be expected on one pass with a NW6+. As for the debate on opinions, I feel a bit intimidated by the Dr. & will not make any more post on his threads in fear of saying the wrong thing & getting sued for it! This is not a good thing for this community to be intimidated by Doctors. I didn't mention any names did I??
  11. Are you kidding me?? This guy gad a ton of hair to begin with from what i can see. What a waste of sclap & money!
  12. Looking good at this point, Should turn out great!
  13. baldboy, Although i never reccomend a young guy under 30 getting a HT, In your case it may be the thing to do short of shaving your head. As you said, you want to fix your hairline which can make big difference in your appearance giving your confidence a boost. Go to A doc with a good Reputation & get his/her advice. Good luck to you & don't let hairloss ruin your life. There are other afflictions much worse than hairloss that people live with everyday. Atomic
  14. buffalo soldier, I had 2660 with Dr. A 2 years ago. Dr. A did an awesome job you have no worries!
  15. I have never seen Keene reply on here on this or any other topic. That shockloss is uncommon & the scar unusually high...not in the safe zone. Dr. Keene?? Hello...
  16. Dr. Alexander does only 1 procedure per day. You get his & his staffs full & complete attention all day.
  17. You sre to young for a HT! You need to wait until at least 30 minimum, the older the better. Hopefully one of these Doctors will tell you that.
  18. No but he has a lot of agressive transplants. When he grafts 3000 or more in the first 1/3. In those cases the natural density can be restored sometimes. I think any doctor on here will tell you that natural density cannot be restored.
  19. Hey Judge, What is impossible is for a surgeon to be able to mimic the density that nature gives you. Even with multiple procedures. So yes maybe your expectations are to high. Atomic
  20. I have seen Rahals hairlines & they do not appear natural like Dr. Alexanders. Also, Dr, Alexander's surgery produces minimal if any scarring. No shaving necessary because he only doe's one patient per day & he takes his time. Pink, Being Asian you will need to be concerned about the scar showing through. With Dr. Alexander's fairly conservative approach there is less chance of scarring than if you had a mega session of 3000 grafts plus. Just my opinion.
  21. Hey Speegs, I went with Dr. Alexander in May 2007. I had 2,660 grafts in my fontal 1/3. I am very happy with my results, Although I was a NW 6+ so I am getting set to go back for round 2 with Dr. Alexander in just a few weeks. There were no complications from the surgery, No scar is detectable at all. Dr. Alexander doe's very fine work & I recommend him without any reservations. I will be happy to answer any questions you have. Regards, Atomic
  22. azn_guy-001, My hair chatacteristics are oposite of what your's would be considering you are Asian which usually means you have coarse hair. My is extremely fine.I'm not sure that hair characteristics play a part in the scar. I did not have trychophytic closure because I plan to go for a sencond procedure. I believe a lot of it has to do with 1) Your surgeon 2) Scalp Laxity 3) Size of procedure 4) Post op care Also I had sutures not staples. 3,000 is fairly conservative, I had 2660 on my first. Start stretching exercise's as long as you can before your HT. Good luck, It will be fine if you choose a good surgeon. Dr. Scott Alexander in Phoenix was my surgeon in case you are curious. Cheers, Atomic
