  1. Everyone recommends that you should take the drugs, I say stay away from them. Ask yourself this question, Am I prepared to use these drugs everyday for potentially the rest of my life? Thats a hard pill to swallow! Literally! There are possible really nasty side effects. I experienced some really scary sides on propecis & minnox. Your not ready for a HT yet IMO. Stick with what you have for now, it looks fine @ your age.
  2. Be careful of who you go to if you choose laser! I had some veins on my nose I wanted removed so I went to a dermeatologist who did laser on my nose & left me with deep scars! Mederma did not work for me to get rid of the scars.
  3. hairline looks nice. Can we see a pic from top down?
  4. I think a new hairstyle/cut will go a long way. If you can, try to hold out on the HT as long as possible. I'd love to see some pics with a new doo.
  5. Don't waste your money on shampoos & potions. They will not help your situation at all. I wouldn't even waste money on Fin or Rogaine. try shaving.
  6. All 3 products work well if you use them correctly. I use dermatch & toppik together. Fantastic results.
  7. Alex, Please start you own thread. Thats how its done around here. Thanks
  8. Late 20's...I wouldn't worry or do asnything at all except enjoy your life.
  9. Shineon, I had a tough time coming to grips with the invasive strip surgery as well. I am happy to say I had no complications & my scar is undetectable. I think the post on HLH is a reminder of what can & doe's occasionaly happen. I think you need to decide how aggressive you want to be. For insatnce H&W can pull 3,500 grafts, but they are also more aggressive in taking their strip. They take it higher than most Doc's (As seen in the HLH pic)& just behind the temples. If you go to another coaltion Doctor they may only pull 2,500 grafts but they will take a smaller more conservative strip. It just depends on your risk tolerance. There is always a chance with any procedure that someting can go wrong. But with the top coaltion Doc's the risk is minimal. Good Luck!
  10. BS, Yes you will definitely see more growth! My biggest growth spurts came at around 8 to 10 months. Trust me you are only just getting strated @ 4 months. You will see big changes in the months to come. So hang in there & be patient. Happy Holidays! Atomic
  11. Very true Dr. Alexander! We do become very spoiled on this forum by looking at the fantastic work that you & all of the coaltion Doctor's are producing. Forum members are also very well educated & for that resaon very demanding of our coalition Doctor's. We rarely see results by non coalition Doctors that live up to the standards produced by our coalition Doctor's. Keep up the fantastic work Dr. Alexander & thanks for posting!
  12. Keep in mind that what works for some may be terrible for others. It certainly depends on your specific hair. Straight or wavy? Coarse or fine? Dry or oily? There are to many factors that will change how a product works on YOUR specific hair type
  13. I really wouldn't worry about it at your age. And I certainly would not consider propecia or rogaine for someone so young. Just enjoy being a teenager & don't worry about something that is years away if at all. Live for today.
  14. Dr. Alexander in Phoenix. A true master at great hairlines & no scar.
  15. That looks really good hair_me_out. This should turn out nice for you. You went to the Master... No luck needed. Atomic
  16. No I was not nit pickin, I am just trying to determine what other people see as good results, average & poor. It seems that so far most guys are happy with this result. I said even with the gaps?, because I want to know if that bothers you or not.
  17. Harry, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I wish the best of luck your next time around!
  18. Joe would you consider this an above average result, less than average, Or just average.
  19. This is a continuation of a thread from "Taking the plunge" the failure conmtinues. We were discussing average results. What I believe are average results are different than what others believe. Maybe we can define just what Poor, Average, Good & excellent results are. What if Doctors posted ALl of thier results one after another without selecting which one's they post? Just recently Dr. Rose's office accidentally posted some Poor results as I'm sure everone will agree. For the most part, most all poor or average results are posted by patients not clinics. Unless by accident. And since all people don't post thier results on this forum, we really half to rely on what the clinics are posting. Are we really able to judge what an average result is if we are recieving cheery picked results from clinics? I need to leave it here for now but look foward to hearing other comments on this subject.
  20. I would like to get off of TTP thread & move the subject of average results to open topics. So please find it there.
