Yeah, totally agree with Gatsby. You are rolling the dice without the consideration of more future loss (which will inevitably happen) and your age. Remember the surgeon's bottom line is your payment regardless of what they tell you or try to get you to believe. Especially in a country struggling economically in relation to the pound or dollar. Is your surgeon recommended by this site or at least by the IAHRS? If not BEWARE. Being sold a no shave FUE is nothing more than a marketing tactic to get your business...I had personally consulted with a number of top HT surgeons in the industry hoping for the same at one point and all of them agreed that the head needs to be be shaved, for way too many reasons to even go into here. For sure you think you will never turn 35 or won't loose more hair, or maybe you think you won't care at that age. I'm not sure what to share with you other than decades of personal regret and multiple repair surgeries following.. Best of luck, but to the veterans on HTN, we know the pit falls Planning your life for only your twenties in regards to hair puts you at an extremely high risk you yet understand. I did the exact same thing at your age and it was the absolute worse decision I could have ever made in my life. Of course you may think it will turn out differently.... You may look ok for the next couple of years but as more hair loss starts to happen (as it will without meds or maybe even with meds) you only then will start to question your decision and counting every morning in the mirror what you think are the remaining potential grafts in your donor for a repair..... Take it from someone who knows first hand.

One if not the last thing anyone should consider when getting a hair transplant is the price. It is surgery, there are no take backs. Once you're cut you're cut. Do your research, and when you think you have done all you can, do some more. The vast majority of so called Dr's. and clinics regardless of the country they practice in (especially Turkey) often give unsatisfactory or subpar results at best. As a repair patient that suffered for many years and lived under a hat until I was repaired, I'm honestly telling you that it's just not worth risking. Finding the right clinic or doctor without knowing exactly what your getting into is like playing Russian Roulette but with only one unloaded chamber. Stay on this forum and keep reading. Start deep diving into other resources as well. Getting my first two transplants at a very young age out of desperation destroyed my life for years. If your overly concerned about the cost and getting shaved, do yourself a big favor and hold out for a while or forever. At your age and level of loss, any reputable Dr. will warn you of future losses and plan accordingly or possibly even refuse you for now as a patient based on age and expectations. Another thing you need to do is have face to face or online consultations with more than one reputable Dr. and not some rep or consultant that are usually only paid when booking you in and getting a deposit. And yes as another poster responded, reputable clinics are booked. Some a year out.

No way do you need 6000 grafts! Personally I would hold off on any further procedures. From my own experience I was still seeing progress up to 18 months....Maybe later you may want a hairline refinement, but even that's hard to tell because of the texture of your hair. Hopefully those are all singles up there.

How certain are you the finasteride was causing sides? Regardless of what you may read or have been told this would be highly unusual that you still would be suffering from them after you stopped taking the drug. Given your high NW case and age you started loosing your hair and the fact you are not on finasteride would make it highly unlikely you would be a reasonable candidate for even BHT. I'm sure you can find a doctor who would be willing to but I think your best bet is to get a number of consultations from those doctors recommended on this site. Good luck.

I completely agree. Great end result but the crown area is using a comb over post surgery that is not utilized in the before images. With that said the work is absolutely stellar in the hair line area, it's more difficult to access the crown and how many grafts it actually took with the comb over to get the actual affect that is shown.

For me I wouldn't consider any doctor, recommended or not, who isn't willing to personally or through his staff respond to any inquiries within a reasonable given time frame. Nothing is more important than the concerns of the patient pre or post op.

Male pattern baldness is purely genetic by nature. Masturbation has absolutely nothing to contribute to hair loss. It is a disproven theory that has been around forever. Something you need to ask yourself is why masturbation would contribute anymore to hair loss than a normal active sexual lifestyle. I think if masturbation contributed to hair loss, all us men would be walking Norwoods 7's.

Looking forward to seeing more repair results. I think one reason repairs are so intriguing is due to the fact how challenging they can be, especially when ones donor has been compromised. A naturally thinning or bald head, although sometimes acknowledged, is rarely given a stare or second look. However someone walking around with poor transplant work has a very different and often much more stressful situation to deal with. Successful repairs are a life changing and a very rewarding event for the patient and a reason for the contributing surgeon to take pride in those results as well.

Your second HT looks much more promising than your first! You picked a great clinic in addressing your situation. Looking forward to your future posts.

Seems she would at least have the common courtesy to respond to personal emails or phone calls. One important aspect of being a recommended surgeon is patient follow up.

Not that he necessarily needs or would want it but does he have anything left for FUE? Was removing and disecting any of the plugs ever a consideration? Again great work! Amazing how 300 singles in the hairline softened things up but closing those "alleys" really made this a home run repair.

This is a really great improvement and case to follow. I know some people prefer not to use them, but just out of curiosity Rashid have you tried using any concealers like Topik. You have acquired enough density that I think Topik would blend in very well and completely cover your crown. If so he isn't the only recommended surgeon to do so. There's a not so public disscusiom about graft destruction from the actual extractions from the ARTAS. If it's 1% more than by manual extraction then that's 1% to high.

I really think the conservative approach was the right thing to do here. You have very nice natural coverage with the number of grafts you had. Congratulations

Nice presentation. Good to see the video. Hopefully we will see more before and afters like this in the future from more Doctors. Personally my transplant looks very similar to Bob's before. I think I can fairly say we are all pulling for you guys. Shutting this shop down or at least giving them the reputation they deserve will help the unkown number of potential victims that face their hackery. There is absolutely no excuses why this could still be happening in todays market place, but sadly it is. Destoring lives is not a good long term business strategy. Wow.... I think Dr. Wong did some great work here. Considering where you started you must be thrilled. It will be cool to see you start posting again, espessially if you "start over" with your month by month. Can you tell us how you personally felt about the results of your first procedure?
