  1. I put minoxidil all over my hair but these area are similar to mine it wont do anything only a transplant to restore the hair line will do. I have noticed a few odd hairs growing on my ear lobes but that could just be with age.
  2. I took fin 0.5mg half a tab for around 7 months and i noticed a big difference in the thickness of my hair. Recently i noticed i did not get any early morning erection and no erection during the day. I stopped it completly for 1 week and these sides went. Now i take less then half a tab daily and things are normal but how much this will help my hair i don't know, yet.
  3. I just had a general check up blood test and it showed my cholesterol levels were higher than last year when i did not take fin. I wonder if fin had anything to do with this or not or what other things can fin change? I've read different things on fin and cholesterol lipid levels on the internet. I know alot has been said about possible side effects with fin but regarding my experience, i know for sure... Now the thing is i can see alot of miniature hairs coming thru...
  4. When i started fin half tab daily there was no sides after 2 to 3 months started seeing big difference so i continued it for about 7 months in total only recently got sides. Stopped fin for about a week and things are normal (thank God) Now i'm starting a quarter tab daily, if it effects I will stop it fully.
  5. After been on fin for 7months 0.5mg (half a tablet daily) i can say my hair has improved alot but recently i noticed no early morning erection, no erection during the day and less interest. I thought it could be other stuff but after been off fin for about 4 days i'm getting early morning erection and during the day. So now i'm thinking to reduce fin further i might take half a tab every other day or a quarter tab every day ? Also i feel my hair loss is too much for fin to make a big difference even if it has improved things alot i will see if it has helped my donor hair minitrization. I never liked taking meds but understand sometimes you need but fin is not for me i don't even like taking alot of supplements. At the moment i don't mind using minox but even that's getting expensive. I'm going to give it a little more time then buzz down and see how i feel about it and then see if i want to go down the ht road.
  6. i use regain foam but i brought the lipo-min before starting fin hoping it will be an alternative to fin but i doubt it can be as effective. It's been about 2 weeks i started using the lipo-min at night (now that i got it) have not seen anything different execpt hair feels much softer the next day
  7. I stopped and started fin many times when i took it regulary after about 2months i saw a big difference to my hair. I've been told by many people if i was able to have a ht it would be pointless if i stop taking fin. some can get away with not taking it while others have to keep taking it so long as they care about hair lol, they must be making alot of money with these hairloss produts the costs add up alot
  8. I've been asking myself if i should quit fin and thinking more will i take this pill for years? The thing is i've been on half a tab daily for the past 6 months and it's improved my hair so much. I've always said there should be some kind on test to see if fin is causing the problem. If a person has low sex drive due to depression etc should they risk ontop of this and take a medicine like fin ? Also the clinic i get mine from told me not to take it for atleast 3months if i'm planning on starting a family. There are alot of things involved and it can effect people in different ways. What i've seen these days is many women like guys with full head of hair and if they see someone whose got more hair they would perfer that person to someone who has hairloss there are many reasons for this but thats the way it is. Another thing people associate hairloss with is age they think you are old or getting old if you got hair loss and you might be like 20!
  9. Thanks, Regarding Toppik hair fibres i used it once in the past before any hair loss meds i saw it as a quick fix but it made a lot of mess which i dont like. Now I see my hair has improved alot since the meds and understand why the doctor recommended me not to rush into a ht. The way i see it i'm trying to improve my hair as much as i can and get it ready for a possible transplant. I'm still not confident with taking 1mg fin so have decided to stick with 0.5mg i.e half a tab daily. If i cannot have a ht then i don't know if i should continue with the meds especially fin. Another thing i'm having to come to deal with is my hair going grey/white around the sides and in the beard. I guess it's part of reaching middle age. See my old pictures from before and this new picture below, Click to make big
  10. Since using min foam i have had no hair loss just regrowth in the crown and hair looking better, nothing on the pillow etc!
  11. I was never a meds person but i started to take fin for 1 year when my hair loss was most then i read an article which basically said meds are no long term fix so i stopped. Some 10 years later my hair loss continued to the point i could see myself going bald like nw7. I then started min and saw alot of difference regrowth in the crown after about 3months. I then added half a tablet of fin and after about 2 months saw alot of thickness to my hair and my hair has never looked better adding on the supplements i can see alot of benefit and difference. So when i look in the mirror at least I’m not totally bald and have hair which i'm looking after as best i can, i mean some is better than none. I was told had i not taken fin for that 1 year when my haair loss was most i would have been nw7 by now. If you respond to meds well they can slow things down alot...as for genetics and future then i dont know but if my genectic code is nw7 then shall i not do anything? I hope i can improve it further by having a ht...
  12. i use it all over my head i rub it in starting with the crown and back then put bit more on and rub it in all over front try to get the sides in as well! Have to be careful not to use too much!
  13. Been a week i added lipo min too and increased biotin... Picture taken today in my bed room compare with others pictures before meds stuff Even if i cannot have a ht atleast things are improving...
  14. Yes at last i got some hope! I'm just thinking of having a little more than half a tab of fin and on the other day have the other bit to see how it goes. In the crown i have seen regrowth and the rest of the hair i have noticed the hair improve even my beard and eyebrow hair seems to look thicker and healthy, could be the biotin! It takes a while after about 3 months then start seeing good results. I'm going to up everything by a little to see if it improves things more. Thanks any other opinions and sugggestions let me know
  15. They said 6 to 12 months ... from Aug 2016 It took some time but I never knew i would respond to meds and the supplements so well i'm thinking of going upto 1mg fin but then i worry more with 1mg?
  16. Took these pictures in my bedroom today
  17. Health is the most important never allow anything to get in the way. (That's what i learnt the hard way)
  18. In all fairness I think it was the depression and life events which caused my low libido. On the plus side since taking fin and seen the improvement to my hair it has made me feel good so that’s helping my libido! There is a reason fin is on private prescription... What I don't like is the fact that it has to be taken for long and interfering with the body natural working
  19. If some top company did make a advancement to hair transplant what would happen to all the hair transplant clinics / doctors? Will we look at hair transplants like we look back at other things and how they used to be done in the olden days?
  20. There is another thread on fin causing suicide yet to see the evidence for it… The side effects on SSRI etc meds is real and not rare but the doctors prescribe them as they see them to be better for the person in relation to the illness/problem. Regarding suicide and meds that’s why the doctor / psychiatrist have to check the patient for that as well. I can tell you I had many side effects from SSRI meds yet i and many others are still prescribed them. I mean if the side effects were really bad then they may change the med or stop it for something else again this is for the doctor / psychiatrist to decide but they are much different than fin? It is a personal decision but when you’re young you don’t think that much of the risks. When I decided to do something about my hair loss the clinic i went to just gave me 1mg 1 month supply Propecia and said read the leaflet inside that was it. I was too concerned about my hair loss to worry about any possible side effects. The clinic treats hair loss but makes money too so I can understand why they don't want to scare customers away! Propecia is the best for hairloss but the risk of the sexual side effect is real and if you talk about this many in the hair industry don't like it and the person could even be blacklisted for expressing their opinion. I bet many take fin but don't like too. I take it now 0.5mg half a tab a day but when i read up on it and some days when i don’t feel well I don’t take it.I think people who prescribe fin need to do more tests and checks. The other safer but not as good alternatives non-meds would be min, lipo shampoo, supplements, etc
  21. What is your evidence for that ?
  22. How is it that 1mg has become the set rate for everyone ?
  23. Excellent tool developed by the top notch! I wonder how some are able to give estimates to people just by looking at them Not performing any such tests or taking into consideration things such as family history, hair miniaturization etc ?
  24. Not yet mate, I only went in August 2016 so i will give it a few more months. i'm still taking the meds stuff and have not been so looking at my hair alot i even was thinking of stopping the meds stuff and then this week i started to notice more improvement [pic soon] so it's given me hope again Not sure if i can change my user name ?
  25. The chemist i get my fin from told me 'not to take it for atleast 2 months if your thinking of having children' ?
