  1. did he give u any idea why ur graft survivability rate was so low? it still looks low in the crown area but that does far longer to grow
  2. so wats gonna b the cost of this "New Procedure? how much more time is required to perform? time is money? prices in the states are high enough? does this mean even higher prices then they currently are?
  3. looks great. just about anything from them will be great. great hairline too
  4. that seems like quite a few pimples. are they oozing anything? is it sensitive or painful in any way to the touch? any swelling? a topical cream might clear that right up. It never hurts to have this examined by a doctor just to be on the safe side imo. at the eighth week it doesn't normally look like that. but we all heal differently. don't ignore it tho.
  5. well, ur a NW5 on ur way to a NW6 so 2700 grafts aint not gonna cut it. u need at least 5000 grafts and probably closer to 6000 and maybe even 7000 grafts depending on ur head size if ur wanting density. ur not gonna have density with 2700 grafts. in fact, ur still gonna look pretty bald with only 2700 grafts. you asked an honest question so I'm given u an honest answer. most of hair in the middle has miniaturized and will surely lose the battle in a few years. and as far as the hairline I'm not sure wat ur doctor was thinking. I think he was trying to achieve an irregular design to appear more natural. I think he missed that boat by like a mile. I checked his website and can see that he used that same approach on this guy Growhair-Before and after photo's FUE follicular unit extraction | GrowHair.eu it can look natural on some people but those irregularities are usually up front in the hair line. not on the side in such a drastic manner. but watever once it grows out it will look better I'm sure. thats pretty easily fixable imo. seems like u have quite a bit of donor hair so id say u cud extract another 2500-3000 grafts. ur probably gonna have some shock loss since many of those hairs are weak so ur definitely needing a lot more grafts it ur lookn to make any drastic changes to ur appearance. ur doctors FUE work on his website doesn't appear to have very good yield on some of his patients. I think his skills are not worth going back to for further work. there are far better choices out there but ur guy is cheap. looks about $2 a graft.
  6. every doctor has some unhappy patients. even the VERY best doctors.
  7. nice! look forward to seeing how that looks in a year or so. post up in a few weeks so we can see wat the beard looks like after it heals
  8. im not quite sure why u wud think more graft placements is a bad thing. it wud be if the survivability rate was low but its not. its one of the best in the business. and the fact that he can cram that many grafts into ppl's heads without native hairs falling out only demonstrates his skill. his transection rate is probably 3%. you say that as tho any doctor can place that many grafts and be successful but just chose not to. thats cudnt be further from the truth.
  9. nice work. last two pics don't tell much tho as they are too dark. crown came out nice but tough to really say since its combed over a bit. can u detail where the beard grafts were placed vs. head grafts? nice high graft procedure tho which demonstrates ur skill to do so.
  10. looks decent. tough to really tell with the comb over. I wud have expected more density with 6000 grafts tho.
  11. dam! dude has a full head of hair now. lucky him. Dr. Erdogan is there a reason he did not opt to have this done over a 2-3 day procedure? was it cost to wait or was that ur recommendation to have it done over several procedures?
  12. I think its comical wen Maras is not listed as one of the top 5. just shows how clueless some really are.
  13. he's like $5.50 per graft for head hair. thats way too high. the op never posted back so either he's real happy and cud giv a rats ass about posting any longer or real unhappy and doesn't want to share his experience. this thread is two yrs old.
  14. sure you can. results don't lie! and as far as price and travel goes I disagree with that. first off, Dorin is way more expensive and has less desirable results and only does small FUE procedures which demonstrates his skill or lack of it. and as far as travel goes that shud not be a concern. if a 10 hour flight to Europe is the reason one isn't getting a HT then that person has their priorities ass backwards considering it will last you a LIFETIME....
  15. usually the rule of the thumb is 50% at 5 months. ur not quite there yet. id say ur at 30% at 5 months. don't panic yet. I've seen ppl grow up to 18 months. some ppl are just slow growers but 4000 grafts is quite a bit so I wud assume ur gonna get a lot more growth. the crown area looks kinda sparse as far as grafts placement goes and the crown area takes far longer to grow. really doesn't appear to be 4000 grafts in there but looks can be decieving. tough to gauge unless u post before pics.
  16. why wud u wait 6 months? was it cost or is that wat he recommended? long way to go to have to travel back for another 1500 grafts. hairline looks great and natural.
  17. jus goes to show if u want density in the crown it will require quite a few grafts to pull that off. pretty much looks like he has a full head of hair now with zero indication of balding.
  18. great choice. look forward to that large session. get one of them money belts.
  19. I wud look at Dr. Vories if I were u. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178431-michael-vories-md-fue-african-american-3100-grafts.html his pricing is $4 per grafts. Umar and Feller are like twice that price and ur not getting better work. I wud give it about 6 weeks before you start cutting or shaving anything as far as a haircut goes. two weeks shud work. personally, I wud steer clear of any FUT surgeon. especially if ur a black male. if the scar stretches it looks far worse on a black man then a white man since blk men tend to keep their hair really short. its not a risk worth taking imo.
  20. u haven't done enough research then. if ur trying to get ur hair back and save money then go to Europe not freakn Mexico. really dude? search this site and find 10 ppl that have gone to Mexico for a HT. don't be one of those fools that doesn't want to travel abroad and wants a cheap HT in Mexico. a fool and his money are soon parted.....
  21. thats not even a debate. I don't think I've EVER seen Dorin perform a large FUE procedure which imo is the tru test to a doctors skills in FUE. Rahal is WAY better and PROVEN and I doubt anyone wud disagree with that. Rahal wud be on the North American all-star team. Dorin is still in AAA trying to get to the majors.... not to mention Dorin prices are comical.
  22. looks clean. shud be no evidence of a HT after healed. good for u
