that is not much growth at all and I wud not expect to see much more growth either. 2400 grafts isn't gonna do much for you but it hardly looks like u got 2400 grafts. you need closer to 7000 grafts imo. I wud chose a different surgeon to be honest. I just don't ever see those WOW results from Dr. Bhatti. in fact, I've yet to see even (1) case. he places the grafts too far from each other and I just don't see any patients with much density. he just doesn't seem to have very good graft survivability rate or he hasn't mastered the technique of placing grafts very close together without shock loss. ur results are pretty common with him to be honest. I honestly don't see much difference between ur before and current pics.

if it works so great then why are you the ONLY one recommending this and thinks it will make ur hair grow? why do all the top HT surgeons around the world not recommend this to their patients then? I agree with mac go to Europe for better results and cheaper BUT..... if ur gonna stay here for watever reason then id look at Vorhies. $4.00 per graft. innovative and willing to learn to get better. he's the real deal imo. and only does FUE and he's pretty aggressive and packs in the grafts pretty tight. there are others that are probably just as good but cost 2 sometimes 3X as much.

listen, I'm jus says that u won't notice anymore or less grafts with either procedure if done by capable hands. I get that u have long hair so its less of a concern from now. yes FUE will cost more. FUT doctors don't get on the band wagon simply because they don't want to take the time to learn a new procedure. FUT is easier to perform and takes less time. I get it its ur decision I'm jus sayn why risk the scar? u probably won't have any issues with the scar but 1 in 5 do. do u wanna be the 1? but I'm telln ya Rahal is correct both will produce the same results essentially. good luck with watever decision u make. its ur head, ur money and ur choice. dude do wat u want. if u want a big scar from ear to ear on the back of ur head go for it. many years ago FUT wud yield more grafts. that simply isn't the case these days. why is that Erdogan, Lorenzo and Maras who are considered probably the 3 top doctors on the planet all perform FUE? u think its because FUT produces better results. it doesn't. if it did they wud be exclusively doing FUT. their not. their exclusively performing FUE. wat wud make u think carving a huge chunk of flesh from the back of ur scalp wud be the preferred way to go? cause some FUT doctor told u so? doctors prefer FUT cause its easier to perform and isn't as labor intensive. time is money. u wanna be that sucker then go for it! its ur head and ur money. but just know ur NOT gonna get better yield with FUT if u go to a top FUE doctor but you will absolutely be left with an ear to ear scar on the back of head looking like u just auditioned for a horror flic!

maybe tru but not many care wat they look like wen their dead.... its the living years that most ppl are concerned with..... not everyone can have long hair and wen u age u will lose more of it will thin out and therefore make the scar very noticeable for some. just not a risk worth taking wen FUE can yield 7000-8000 grafts these days with ZERO chance of visible scaring and physiology plays no role in FUE. and the yield is nearly identical no matter wat the pro FUT guys claim. the same cannot be said for FUT which is why its a roll of the dice for many. like I've said many times before you will NEVER see someone coming up here to have their FUE transplant fixed by an FUT doctor will ya?

I jus can't get over wat clinics are charging for essentially tattooing ones head with the same color with little dots. the pricing is just comical!

the FUT scar is a reality no matter wat others tell u. patients post somthn monthly looking for solutions to repair or camouflage their FUT scar. save urself the misery and regret and go FUE. I don't care how thin the scar is and it aint that thin even with a good one but ull never b able to shave ur head down without seeing it. who wants a scar from ear to ear on the back of their head? mite look great for a while but if ur hair thins it WILL become very noticeable! sorry but those are the hard facts.....

I wud give Dr. Vorhies a call. he is in south carolina. his pricing is the most reasonable in the states and he does excellent FUE.

yes cell growth in the muscle again it is an insulin like growth factor hence the name IGF!!!!!! my cousin has his Pro Card IFBB as a professional body builder and uses everything you can think of. we have discussed this in length and I can assure you he is far smarter then you wen it comes to IGF. it will do NOTHING for ur hair follicles. stop reading internet articles and thinking IGF-1 is gonna be some miracle hair grower. wake up dude! don't u think if there was evidence of this EVERY hair transplant doctor wud be recommending it? u don't need a prescription for it. no one is recommending it other then YOU! you don't see the problem here? ur giving out bad info that is misleading. quit while you are behind!

widen ur horizon. there are far batter choices out there. don't be one of those suckers who thinks he has to stay local to get a HT. Diep is pretty good but his prices are laughable! and steer clear of FUT!

yes many years ago FUT wud yield more grafts and u wud be lucky to see even 3000 FUE grafts transplanted and that was considered a MEGA session. I don't see evidence of that today. ppl can make that argument all they want but FUE these days consistently produces 5000-6000 grafts which is just as many as you see from FUT doctors performing strip these days. 1 out every 50 strip procedures will have a disfiguring scar. its a barbaric procedure and completely goes against the first rule in medicine which is "Do no harm". the strip procedure grew directly out of the crude punch graft procedure. its simply a crude variation and evolution of the punch which is why the majority of ppl on this forum chose FUE not FUT. not to mention the number of grafts destroyed taking a scalpel to the back of ur head and carving out a chunk of flesh. yes grafts are destroyed when u cut the scalp to remove the flesh containing grafts so watever yield u think FUT gives u by saving grafts is canceled out by the number of grafts destroyed getting them. the yield from a top FUE doctor is over 95%. ur not gonna get any better yield with FUT yet you risk the dreaded tell take strip scar as a result. if ur reason for not wanting FUE is because u need to shave ur head down in that area then I wud say u have ur priorities backwards. ur hair will grow back after being shaved. the scar you will have for a lifetime!

of course there is a protocol. the higher up u go the more grafts u can stuff on ur head but the problem is ur left with a high hairline that looks receding and kinda defeats the whole purpose of a HT.

u had 6000 grafts in ur crown? yea I guess I missed ur case cause I've never seen that many in the crown alone. which surgeon did that?

I haven't seen ANY strip doctors perform better work the Erdogan has with FUE so you can think wat u want but in the end you WILL have the dreaded "I had a HT strip scar" no matter how you slice it wen choosing to go FUT. doesn't matter who you chose! then you will need MORE FUE grafts to fill in ur strip scar so FUT is NOT the best solution period!

wat happens before that isn't really a concern as most shock loss is temporary but not all. If the roots weren't damaged during slit placement then it should come back. but if those hairs were dieing due to MPB it could seal their fate. the end result shows no permenant signs of shock loss damage.

thats about the most grafts I've seen in the crown area. ur ability to place grafts in-between native hairs without shock loss is impressive.

go a little south and check out Vorhies. he does excellent FUE work and is probably the cheapest FUE doctor in the states producing good results on a constant basis. steer clear from Artas. and forget those that Dabble in FUE and have a plastic surgery clinic. that will be the worst mistake u ever make in ur life! anyone who practices anything other then FUE u need to steer clear from. never even heard of who ur referring to. don't be a fool! find a doctor that SPECIALIZES in FUE and FUE only!
