  1. Insane coverage from so few grafts. From really quite bald to full head of hair with only 2600 grafts. This guy will now have plenty of grafts left over for a rainy day, if he ever needs them. He must be thrilled.
  2. Some people have regrown their crowns with similar loss to yourself, but ideally you have tobe prepared to give it at least 12, if not 18 months to see if it works for you. If you get any sides, you can just stop and they will go away. If you are confident that you hair loss has stabilised, and your crown won't continue to expand, then go for it; I guess you would be looking at around 2500 grafts, maybe a bit more. Don't think you will get that many grafts for 5k in the States though? In terms of value for money, your best bet is one of the recommended doctors here from India or Turkey and get some FUE done.
  3. Are you on meds? If not, I would give finasteride a year and then evaluate.
  4. P.s. something Lorenzo gets right so often is the balance of grafts with the hairline and crown. With norwood 4 and 5's, so many docs seem to go for solid straight hairlines that look almost too perfect (especially on a man in his 30/40/50's), with whispy see-through crowns. While I agree that it is more important to focus on the hairline, Lorenzo achieves the best of both worlds: age appropriate, natural looking hairlines and the best crown coverage of any doc. That is why he is the best in the world (IMO).
  5. In hair transplant terms Australia is positively third world, but charges first world prices. You have got to travel.
  6. Just can't get over how good his crown work is....no other doctors come close in terms of coverage and consistency of results in the crown, not even close.
  7. Advanced hair studio have a terrible reputation among hair loss customers, which they have had for years. I am surprised they are still in business.
  8. To those who have had surgery with him, on a scale of 1-10, what would you give for: a) Your general experience of the surgery? b) Where applicable, your post 12 month result? Thanks.
  9. I see where you are coming from and when you consider Dr Lorenzo does more-or-less everything himself, you are in a lot of respects getting better value for money than with a lot of other docs, even though on face value, he is really expensive. Having said that, I don't necessarily agree that doctors need to be present during the whole procedure, or that you will get an inferior result if techs are doing most of the work. I could be mistaken, but I don't think the placement of grafts is rocket science (it is more an art, I guess) that requires seven plus years of medical training required to become a doctor. There are certain parts of the procedure, such as taking the strip, which only the doctor should perform, but the techs are more than capable of implanting the grafts and, in a lot of cases, probably much more experienced at doing this than the doctors themselves. That is why it is important, I think, that clinics disclose and are transparent about their techs qualifications and experience. Most aren't, which is a serious misgiving in my opinion.
  10. The cost of FUE with a decent doctor like Bisanga, 6000 pounds plus. This: Priceless.
  11. Wow, show me another surgeon who is churning out results as regularly and as good as these...
  12. I have been having duplicated posts for weeks now (prob approaching 2 months in fact) and had problems where I was inexplicably logging into other people's profiles....thought it was just me, but it seems this site is a bit buggy.
  13. Cueball are you thinking of having your third procedure with Dr Feriduni? Dr Lorenzo's crown work is unbelievable, although hopefully in the next six months you will be very close to achieving a look you are happy with.
  14. dense I can see from the link below why your thought Joe ignored your question as he did not respond, but I am sure it was not intentional. There are a lot of questions and topics on this site, and it not always easy to stay on top of which threads you have contributed to and you don't necessarily revisit them either. I think in future, it is better to PM a rep instead otherwise questions tend to get lost amongs all the forum posts here. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/175230-considering-fue-w-dr-demisroy-dr-bhatti-pics-inside-2.html
  15. Voxman you're very happy with life, it's good to see.
  16. I personally am not a fan of FUT, to the untrained eye FUE from a doc such as Lorenzo appears virtually scarless which means you will always have that option later on in life to wear your hair short without an ugly looking scar running across the back of your head. I have not seen enough of Dr Konier's work to recommend him although he is highly regarded, not sure what his FUE is like. As for Dr Lorenzo, I am blown away by his results, for me he is second to none and if I had the money I would go with him without any hesitation.
  17. When you wake up in the morning, do you feel like Homer Simpson from that episode where he regrows all his hair overnight?!?
  18. To be honest, you are asking lay people online to judge and give you advice from two pictures when you have already seen (in person it seems) three doctors. Just go with the doc you feel most comfortable with, or see a couple more docs if you are still unsure.
  19. Very unprofessional of a clinic (or any business for that matter) to demand that payment of a large sum of money should be cash only. I would not have an HT with a clinic that operated that way.
  20. Very strange, would love to hear the opinions of Future HT Doc or some other docs who contribute here.
