  1. Sorry to bombard you with questions Muslum, but it sounds like from what you are saying that the Dr made all (100%) of the recipient sites over the two days....is that correct?
  2. Irrespective of what the clinic says it's "preparing" in its response, and putting to one side the allegation of false accounts, the HRN cannot continue to recommend a doctor with this many dissatisfied patients.
  3. Paleo I have had a look at all your photos and can emphasise with why you are angry. The work looks piss poor and I will be very surprised if you end up with anything decent out of this (although I hope I'm wrong). Frankly I hope he gets his membership terminated, this has been on the cards for some time.
  4. No ways would Dr Diep destroy his reputation and business by photoshopping a result. 2500 grafts or 5000 to 6000 hairs will make a noticeable difference. I'm sure if this was shot in less flattering light you would see that it is quite thin in places. Remember it's only an illusion of density we're aiming for.
  5. Amazing. Any idea how many grafts you got left, and can we see a picture of your donor ? Thanks
  6. Wow you guys in the States pay crazy money for hair transplants. You would probably pay 3/4 of that max for two of the best docs in Europe (Feriduni & Bisanga) if not less. Having said that Feriduni is heavily reliant on techs as well but he is very involved with the process. I didn't feel rushed when I was with him and was the only patient on the day, If I was going to have an HT in the States, and could afford it, I think the only doc I would go to would be Konior who while being expensive, does everything himself.
  7. Man I escaped a bullet with Dr Doganay. I was booked in to see him June 2014 and it was in early 2014 that I started to read a lot of concerning things about his practices, such as knocking patients out who would wake up and Doganay had vanished and technicians were operating on the patient instead (back then he was supposed to be doing all the work). And then I began to read more and more negative reports of rush jobs and rubbish growth. To be frank, there has not been another doctor on HRN who has received as much negative feedback in the past two years as Dr Doganay. It's a real shame for him because back in 2013 he was regarded by this forum as one of the best FUE docs around.
  8. Good post Dr L. The crown is an absolute b**ch to achieve full coverage with and I happen to be in the minority here in feeling that crown loss is more ageing than frontal loss, especially in a guy in his 20's or early 30's. I think for guys with minor crown loss, doing nothing though (in terms of electing not to have an HT there, but carrying on with the meds etc) is still the best option due to the crown's reputation as a graft "black hole" and propensity to continue expanding. Temporary SMP is probably a good option too for those with minor crown loss.
  9. Looking forward to seeing the outcome of this FUE/FUT study in 12 months....they're calling for participants now. (Link removed by moderator - See Terms of Service)
  10. Not sure if this is the video you are talking about, below he talks about how his FUE can be as good as his FUT, plus some other interesting observations
  11. More like negligence than fraud, would be surprised if OP would be covered/indemnified for loss under his credit card (presuming he paid using CC) resulting from a badly performed surgical procedure. I presume the surgeon is not recommended by this site?
  12. Is this the same Dr James Boland in Colorado who used to be a medical marijuana doctor? Questionable practices at medical marijuana clinic exposed | Local News - Home
  13. I would still not rule out Reddy. You're 21 and don't know how much more hair you'll lose. 21 is very young to have an HT. Therefore you want to be conservative. 2k (6000 hairs) with Reddy in the hairline will make a big difference as he achieves really good coverage from comparatively small # of grafts. Look at his results on here and you'll see. Dr Feriduni does not recommend strip in patients younger than 30 so I would definitely stick with FUE given your young age.
  14. The grafts are apparently secure after 7 days, so once all scabs have gone you could shave your whole head from around week 2. To be on the safe side I would wait, though, at least 3 weeks. Also check with the clinic and see what they say as clinics do differ in their advice in this regard (i.e. Dr Erdogan recommends not buzzing for 5 months, and some clinics say wait even longer...)
  15. Get out of Australia if u want an HT! It's pretty much third world in HT terms
  16. Dr Lorenzo is as good as it gets. I would feel very comfortable going to him even if the techs are doing some / all of the extractions. I'm yet to see an outright bad result from him. You're in safe hands.
  17. I'm just going home to measure! Three inches sounds about right though. I think I am closer to four and a half and I would say my hairline is about 3/4 inches higher than it used to be as an adolescent.
  18. From hairline to eye brows (in inches)
