  1. My Trichologist here in the UK who supplies me with my branded Propecia is not going to be stocking it anymore. I've done some research online and via this forum, and I found an online pharmacy called Doctor Fox which is based here in the UK. There prices are cheaper than I'm paying for mine, which seems great! I was wondering if anyone has any experience from this company and if they are genuine or not? Thanks for your help everyone! Cheers.
  2. Is there anyone else here from the UK that gets your Propecia here in the UK or ordered from somewhere? I'm looking for the branded Propecia as that's the one I've been using. I heard Boots do Propecia?
  3. Thanks so much for you're response mate, I'll keep looking in to it!
  4. Hi guys, The Trichologist here in the UK from whom I purchase my Propecia off (MSD Type) is not going to stock it anymore. I saw a lot of surgeons here do prescriptions for Propecia? Could I write to one and start ordering it from them? Do any of you guys get your Propecia from the trusted surgeons? Thank you! Also guys, I also use the Minoxidil which my Trichologist provides for me. It's 5%. It also contains: Ethanol, Oestradiol valerate, Propylene glycol and Caffeine. I'm a student and this tends to be quite expensive for me. I noticed Regaine contains the same ingredient (5%) Minoxidil. If I bought Regaine, it would save me A LOT of money than using the current one. Would this be okay to switch as it's basically the same as Regaine, or would it cause problems to my hair? Cheers for your help everyone, it's much appreciated!
  5. Thank you so much! That link was of great help and really helped me understand a bit more in to it. It certainly is a hot topic, damn haha!
  6. Thanks for you're reply, mate. I'm a Norwood III with Vertex. I understand how you mean, though. Do you know of any good FUT surgeons in Europe? I know Europe tends to be more famous for it's FUE surgeons.
  7. Which do you think is a better method to go for and why? I see a lot of people choosing FUE for their first surgery, but after the research I've done, in my opinion, FUT seems like a much better option as you can get more grafts, better density, and more donor area left for the future. Is this true, especially about the density? I know this can be a controversial topic, and I'm not looking for us guys to argue, but simply from your own opinion or experience, which do you think is a better method to go with for your first surgery? At the moment, I'm leaning towards FUT as the results I've seen from that seem to be more dense looking in general. Thanks, guys.
  8. So guys, after more debating, I think I'm going to aim at Belgium for a possible surgery. There doctors seem sound and trustful as well as producing some good results! I think it's better to go elsewhere in Europe instead of the UK as many of you have already suggested. Since I've been in contact with Doctor Bisanga (not suitable yet for age reasons) and Doctor Feriduni (HUGE waiting list, basically one year long), I've been looking at others. The one's I'm interested in are: Doctor Jean Devroye - He seems to be a very experienced and solid surgeon, and if I'm correct, the first trusted surgeon on here! Some really good FUT results. Doctor Patrick Mwamba - I've already been in contact with Doctor Mwamba, and he gave me some surgical options that would be possible. I think he seems like a great doctor and produces some nice results. Doctor Rudi De Reys - He seems a solid surgeon and is a specialist in FUE. I've seen a lot of positive reviews about him! The next guy I'm going to mention is not on this forum, but, I've heard a lot of very good things about him and his work looks really solid! He does both FUE and FUT and I think specialises in FUE as a preferred method? His name is Doctor Lupanzula. I'd be fascinated to hear if you guys have had any experience with these doctors and could tell me a bit more about them, especially Doctor Devroye and Doctor Lupanzula. Thank you! Over and out Hair Restoration Network.
  9. Hey farmcat! Thanks so much for your input. Don't worry, I'm not rushing in to it at all. I'm just doing research and seeing if the right surgeon/method is out there for me. I'm a little worried about FUT after that.. But, if your FUT surgery is done correctly, sure you'll have a scar, but even with a grade 2 or something, you can still not notice it at all? I've seen something on Doctor Feller's YouTube channel before and it looked really good! Thanks again, sir.
  10. Thanks for your recommendation Stig. Unfortunately, I couldn't find much information at all on this doctor.
  11. Hi guys, I'm really stuck at the moment. I'm really not sure what doctor to go with next. My consultation with Doctor Reddy was great but I can only afford 2000 grafts. And, Doctor Bisanga said no. I've got some pictures I'll post soon, but I'm really thinking that for someone who needs 3000+ grafts, FUT is a better option than FUE as you can get a better yield and more density? Is the scarring really that bad? Or do you think FUE would be just as good? Does anyone know anymore good FUT surgeons in Europe? My research brings me to Doctor Mwamba and Doctor Devroye, what do you think? Thanks guys, I'm so stressed right now about it
  12. Hi Steve, You're very welcome and thanks again for dealing with my questions and trying to find me the correct solution. I agree mate. I'm trying to do a few more consultations just to see what others say, but I'll definitely take in to account what You and Doctor Bisanga told me. Thanks so much for you're wishes Steve. I wish you and the clinic all the best too! I'll be keeping an eye out for more of you're fantastic results. Keep up the great work! Cheers. Roberto.
  13. So guys, just a quick update! After having a successful consultation with Doctor Reddy, I don't think I'm going to go a head with it as I feel I need a slightly larger number of grafts. I have recently been in touch with Steve from the BHR Clinic. After quite a few e-mail exchanges, Doctor Bisanga decided that I should not have a hair transplant because of my age. This is really disappointing because a few trusted surgeons have already said yes to me and I really had my heart set on going to see Doctor Bisanga because of his great reputation! However, I understand the reason to why He and Steve said no and I can certainly understand to WHY they said that. Even though it's disappointing, Steve was excellent. He got back to me so quickly all the time and I felt he was been very honest and ethical. He answered all my questions and queries and offered advice on certain matters. I would like to wish Steve, Doctor Bisanga and everyone at the BHR Clinic my best wishes. So guys, my search continues and I still want to consult with another doctor as I have only had one consultation so far! I'm also starting to feel that FUT will be the best option for me as from my research, it seems to give better density, a higher quality graft and a larger percentage of regrowth been possible for anything from 2500 grafts or above. What do you guys think about this? Since I'm looking for between 3000-4000 grafts, do you think FUT would be a better option to try and achieve my main goal of density? I'm going to contact SPEX and see if the Feriduni waiting list is still high or not, and I'm now looking in to Doctor Mwamba and Doctor Devroye who seem to be really good quality FUT surgeons as well as FUE. I'd love to hear from people who have had an experience with these surgeons! Also, what is Doctor De Reys like? Thanks for all the help guys, and best wishes to all! Cheers and until next time.
  14. Thanks for the advice, Doctor Bloxham. At first, I wasn't keen to share my pictures because I felt a bit embarrassed about it, but the more I look around the forum, the more I think it would be better to share as you said so people who have had HT's can have an input. So, that's a job for me to do, try and make up some decent quality photo's. That sounds great! I'm sure a couple of weeks of no sport trainings or gym work won't hurt. All the best Doctor Bloxham, I hope you're well.
