  1. Patient 4 at least has a subpar result. It looks very sparse to say the least. Why would the clinic choose to present such a result??? (Btw we`d also need a top shot from that case to further evaluate it). I know Dr. de Reys in general takes very conservative approaches, but do you really expect to get a recommendation based on these results? Where are all the top results? While I think Dr. de Reys is one of the best and most honest and upright surgeons concerning ethics, I didn`t see a really good result from him in the last two years, and I really did search for it... It`s just "solid" work at best imo. I do know some good results from the years 2010-2012, though, one case of aesthetically neat crown work, for instance. The work in general looks very defined, but often lacks yield imo. And I miss newer cases which would testify for current skills. Here is an example of a very presentable case back from spring of 2010, when the doctor was with Moses and PHC: http://mosesmedicaltv.blogspot.de/2011/01/2950-fue-repair-by-dr-de-reys-moses.html It looks great, but again, the newer results and foremost patient`s own postings did rather convince me not to advise to go with Dr. de Reys. I also am curious why you never responded to the comments in the other threads, members asked questions there. Aren`t you the patient advisor/representative of Dr. de Reys? Then this would be your job I guess. (You also lack a signature btw.) I really would appreciate an answer this time. Thank you.
  2. I partly agree with Wwiizzkkiidd24, the third picture leftside looks like he has blond hair, like dyed. But all pictures imo show the same person, you can see it by several characteristics like eyebrow and forehead details. The difference may be a matter of lighting conditions hence. Maybe someone from Dr. Wesleys side can elucidate us.
  3. I emphasize what hadenough suggested. It may be a matter of your diet and/or stress. That said, it`s obviously not wrong to see a dermatologist Tc
  4. He started receding at 14?? This is pretty unusual, maybe it`s a medical condition? Beside, at 20, why doesn`t he write his own story? We`d also need pictures to substantially evaluate the situation. In general, a HT at this age should not even be considered..
  5. Indeed it`s a monster result after only 5 months  While I agree with the rest of the post, HTs can only achieve to give the illusion of density, but are not giving you the "thick full head of hair" of your twenties. You can even see it with ease in the top shot picture, so not to confuse newbies here. That said, I`d be at least as enthusiastic as you; it`s really looking fantastic
  6. The hairline design is not natural and age appropriate imo, but let`s wait for the outcome. The technical work looks perfect as always.
  7. I knew it. Not much will change for him imo, though, as refuse2lose hinted at, yet. Nonetheless, he was able to present his video editing editing skills, so he deserves it most probably. Plus his case and performance is perfectly presentable for further merchandising. Congratulations to both parties.
  8. The pre OP pictures show a wet condition, while the pictures of the result a dry one. And it is not even labeled as such... Beside, I`d expect this result with this huge graft amount. Thank you for sharing nonetheless
  9. Imo the amount of grafts was borderline in the first place (you look pretty young judging by the pictures), so a "repair" would have to be considered with carefulness. But later it will be necessary probably; now the low desnity can be interpreted as the "entr?e" to your hairline, but if it thins out and recedes in the future, the density will not be sufficient in order to provide an aesthetical appearance maybe. The whole approach of Dr. Radha thus was questionable imho, using such a big amount of grafts for a relatively very small area, especially using FUT.. I might be wrong though, it depends on multiple factors obviously... Thank you for sharing in any case, and you have great hair btw
  10. Where`s BUSA actually, I`d be interested in what he has to say to Erdogans approach in this
  11. This amount is completely ridiculous to me. Considering your age and the danger of shock loss, it`s even highly unethical, if not insane... Interesting to know. It`s your choice in the end, you`re a grown man. If I were you, I would wait another couple of years, your hair looks good, and you won`t spend the majority of your time in the swimming pool, will you Good luck and all the best
  12. I just have to dispute that Dr. Konior would be my surgeon of choice, he does the best hairlines worldwide imo. There are also other US based surgeons who are at the very same level as the european ones. But in general, comparing amongst the best is really difficult; everybody has his own approach. There are good and bad ones on both continents now, but with a recommended surgeon, there shouldn`t be any problem in the first place.. Greetz
  13. Hi, you won`t find a decent hair transplant surgeon in Germany, Reith knows people in media and thus gets promoted in talk shows etc., but being in the media doesn`t necessarily equal having certain skills. The best surgeons worldwide don`t need this kind of publicity, and are found in places like here. You know the german forum Alopezie.de? Maybe open a thread there as well, post some pictures of your situation and ask concrete questions. There are good surgeons in Switzerland and Belgium, also in Turkey, Spain and UK you`ll find some good clinics. But forget Germany...
  14. imgur: the simple image sharer You`re sure you`re in the right thread here
  15. @The hairtransplant "mentor" Hello, aren`t you the representative of Rahal now? So you should have access to this patients information actually? The transplant dates back to 2010, so it also could be the case that an actually good result looks sparse by now due to further loss. It could easily be checked by post op pictures dating back to 2010, 2011. Theflyer, can you post some pictures of your result when it was fresh and fully grown out?
  16. Couldn`t agree more. But chin up, nothing is lost in your case. What happened just happened, you can`t do anything about it, so take it as an experience. You can still fill the scar via FUE and add SMP optionally, plus you have some grafts left for sure in order to increase the density in your hairline. Try to evaluate the options you have with several surgeons, and just listen to the ideas they have at first, and unhurriedly. Probably you have to cut the hair shorter in general; with transplants, you in nearly all cases have to make compromises. Maybe your hairline could be reversed in a repair, and the harvested grafts used to increase the density of a then more conservative hairline? Just a wild guess.. But again, stay cool, you`re not alone, and nothing is lost
  17. Did he tell you that before you gave him thousands of dollars and before he cutted skin out of your head, or only now??
  18. I also searched for a possibility to do that before my HT, but after thorough research and some awkward attempts with cutting out and paste, had to give up. I reckon however that it`s only a matter of time until some programmer will get to know the demand and keen to earn a few bucks...
  19. I can`t understand why you are worried lol. It`s looking just fine, even very good for this early stage. These tiny little gaps are perfectly normal, so no worries. There is a section on here called "Hair loss websites" where you can inspect many progress journeys posted by members, naturally also many 4 month pics. You`ll see that most don`t even show such a good progress at this stage you are experiencing right now. So keep cool and enjoy what`s to come
  20. Yeah, you may be right, pictures often lie I get your point, and you get mine I think, I`m not here to argue, but like you, to help people do the right decision. It in this case definitely would involve not to take MrAzes result as a reference for his own potential outcome, because the donor cannot be compared, even taking picture inaccuracies into account. I know that you know that, but I always try to put myself in the shoes of someone who is a noob still and maybe goes after hope rather than pure objective evaluation. So I think we`re both right, we are just presenting two different point of views. I know MrAze is only in month 6, but I can see now that he never will be able to grow his hair out more than 1 cm without looking odd, even after another procedure mikewest can forget anyway (Ok, maybe some bodyhair, but grown out that looks even more unnatural). So again, only in order to get that "shiny" look away, a procedure imo can be done, but that`s where his expectations should end. At least that`s how I would approach it mentally and technically. I`d never do what MrAze tried to do, it looks like desperation to me. Some things one needs to accept. Mikewest has a beautiful head shape, and to me a bald head worn with pride shows some strength, individuality, masculinity, style and experience. While I don`t wanna parade the attributes associated with an unsuccessful attempt to cover that head.
  21. If the pictures don`t lie, MrAze had a better donor capacity than mikewest, and still the result looks awful imho. At least grown out. It just looks awkward. My point is that from some point on, a buzzcut is just all that is possible, and this is a clear case for that situation. I just don`t want mikewest to get expectations which leave him disappointed, or even disfigured afterwards. Look at MrAzes results, and think about if you`re gonna be happy with this result. And if you`re gonna be happy if it`s gonna be half the density even. What`s also to take into account is that MrAze not only has a better donor, but got lucky with a good yield rate, which is not given in every case. Lastly I need to emphasize once more that to me the donor looks like it`s gonna thin out further in the years to come, and thus is not the zone it in the first place needs to be in order to get a HT. So just have realistic expectations... Don`t go with the doc who surely will be there and happy to promise you what you want to hear, but not the truth. Rather listen to us doomsayers and get positively surprised in relation afterwards
  22. Oups, only seen by now, didn`t look at the date.. Well, thought the same
