you're a young guy, you will have continuous and progressive hair loss despite the HT you are considering now, don't be overly aggressive with your hairline or temples to the point where you're trying to play "catch-up" in 10 or 20 years - think about how your hairline, including temples, will continue to move backwards despite the HT you are considering or may have now or in the near future

same concern I have here, i'm having my procedure in Jan 2014, I've rolled over a few weeks of vacation from 2013 and also asked for several other weeks to work from home - hopefully this will give me enough time to look "acceptable" to go back in an office environment

just a word of comfort that if you've been reading the post on this site you will know that you're shedding of the transplanted grafts is absolutely normal at this phase of your HT, you will begin regrowing those newly transplanted hairs in 3-4 months, hang in there no matter how tough it may seem now, you will begin to see progress and hopefully your spirits will pick up with time. best of luck.

Did you have your own doctor fill the physicians form they requested prior to the procedure as we'll?

Of course I'm 100% aware of their procedure requirements since I'm scheduled in less than 3 months, their requirements for blood work and a local doctors sign off was totally normal to me. It happened to coincide with my physical so I simply tool the paperwork to my doctors office. It was all filled out for me and the bloodworm was incorporated in the normal physical that my doctor does so it was seamless to me and did not cost me an extra dime. While you might view it as intrusive - the doctors working on you want to make sure you are not only healthy but also do not transmit any communicable disease during the procedure.

i'm scheduled to have a procedure with Dr. Rahal in Jan 2014. Excited and a bit nervous but as many of the commentary on these boards have verified, he's one of the best. So I'll leave it in his hands.

I do not think you look that bad. Yes you have some thinning, but overall you have a decent hairline and coverage on your scalp. Have you tried propecia or minoxidil? These medications in addition to some good thickening shampoos might improve what you already have or at least preserve what you have. I wouldn't panic though because you do look fine and I wish you the best in your upcoming marriage!

like the shapiro video shows, the young man was only 28 and had an excellent existing hairline, the FUE procedure involved a limited number of grafts strictly to bolster the already well existing hairline, therefore don't assume that the FUE method is the best procedure for you, its always dependent on your own specific degree of hair loss, what you're trying to achieve, etc.

exactly where i am right now, small prior surgery to frontal hairline in early 90's starting to be completely obvious, any hair behind that pluggy camouflaged hairline is going away fast, have to do something this year - your story has inspired me! thanks Jatronic -
