Was it Dr R2D2? 1800 grafts in 2 days sounds very slow. Most Drs can do close to that in one day (not that speed should be an issue).

What i meant was that if you have 6000 and need 7000 then you wait another 6 months, and save the extra. Remember, a HT is not as simple as it seems. You need a doc who really knows how to get a natural result through graft placement, angling the grafts, densities..

I see you're in Egypt. Book a flight to Belgium and visit Bisanga and Feriduni. If they can't do anything for you (FUE) then no one can. You may be able to get something resembling a hairline, some BHT and SMP, for a decent buzzed look. It could be a complete gamble.

Plan for the worst, hope for the best. Planning that Histogen will work isn't the way to go. No Dr in their right mind would give you a big scar at the back, and 4000 grafts filling in the midscalp. Even FUE would be a waste of grafts leaving nothing left to treat the hairline in the future.

Propecia is not really worth it if it has that bad an affect. Agree with spanker that the shaved look is probably the way to go. You're probably going to have to lose some hair before considering any kind of transplant. As a last resort, a hair system(?) I'd never recommend one though. Very much a last resort

I'm in the UK and wouldn't consider anyone here except Farjo! That's why I'm flying to the US to visit a few Drs. Cost should not really come into it. Why pay 6 grand for something sub-standard when you can have a great result for 7 grand.

I think if I were you I'd be inclined to have a strip session. 4000 grafts with a conservative hairline would really work wonders. I would go see someone like Dr Rahal who does FUE and FUT. Ask him what he thinks would be best based on scalp characteristics. The pros and cons. H&W also experienced in big sessions although I'm not sure they offer FUE. I understand the whole option of being able to shave down. But if you have an amazing result with strip are you ever likely to want to shave it(?) Also, it might be an idea to try Regain/Rogaine on the crown. You never know your luck and could get an amazing reaction to it.

A pain in the a$$ but you may be better to ride it out for a while and use concealers to cover it up. I realise that this may not suit your lifestyle. Otherwise, maybe a small procedure to beef up the hairline(?)

It only looks bad if you want a hairline like Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt. You have the same problem as me - a high hairline - although mine has thinned out down the centre (aged 34) whereas yours looks pretty solid. Maybe you could try a change of haircut. For me I have no choice as my hair is incredibly dry and straight and can't be styled without gels/sprays.

I do wonder what will happen in another 10 years when the NW2s who had HTs at 25 start to thin out behind their transplants! It's possibly a ticking timebomb.

I found some of your photos in old posts and i think I agree with Cant Decide! 10,000 grafts is only enough to give a 12cm x 12cm area a medium-high density (70 grafts/cm2). It would be impossible for a NW5 to get anywhere near a complete, high density appearance. Those pictures with the concealers look pretty good for a 50+ year old.

it can take up to 18 months to see the full result. 4 months is still quite early.

Hard to tell but I see no reason to worry
