  1. I'd take a look at the Belgian surgeons along with Maras and Chueco as well. Plenty of choice these days. Even for higher NW, the most important thing is the hairline.
  2. He is one of the best with many patient documented cases throughout the forums.
  3. There should be a shed. Don't try to keep them there intentionally.
  4. Yeah I was doing the same thing. I'd start massaging gently with circular motions. See if there is a shed.
  5. Are you massaging your scalp or barely touching your hair?
  6. Look for a surgeon with good hairline work. Blond hair seems to be often of a thin caliber which isn't great, but it is low contrast to white skin, which is good. I think 2.5-3k grafts would set you up nicely.
  7. Lorenzo does do graft harvesting, he doesn't do all of it. There are many patients per day and both him and the techs work simultaneously. This has been the case for years.
  8. Erdogan - uses way too many grafts IMO, but for patients with limited donors, I've seen some good work from his clinic. Lorenzo - Even for NW 6, the most important part is the hairline and frontal region, and Lorenzo seems to favor covering a lot of area evenly rather than building a good hairline. But I could be wrong.
  9. Yeah Cooley, Feller, True and Dorian are all good and in that vicinity.
  10. There are anecdotal reports of Niz damaging hair. Try massaging your scalp. Also could try experimenting with things like head and shoulders selenium sulfide 1% shampoo.
  11. I don't think a nw4 needs 2 ops even with a more conservative doctor. Those are typically for patients with both frontal and crown work. While HW have done great results, there are risks, so I think 2 ops are better than one big one. You have to remember that more grafts means a bigger strip and therefore a bigger scar. How did you narrow your search to these 2?
  12. I think there have been many cases where people have bumped and lost a graft or two and been successful results. It is only one graft at the end of the day.
  13. Here I am at 5 months postop. I had hoped to be further along in terms of growth, but trying to stay positive.
  14. I would not go FUT given that you are unwilling to take finasteride and you keep your hair short as you should. Hair loss can be unpredictable so I won't attempt to predict the pattern. I would say do 2000-2300 FUE to rebuild the hairline and see how it develops, you can then add grafts to midscalp/crown etc. For clinics, the most reputable FUE clinics are outside the UK in mainland Europe...so look there.
  15. These are inert and have no impact on hair growth. How long to take them is up to you.
  16. I find Dutchies posts interesting, not sure why you have a problem.
  17. I wouldn't do it if I were you. Seawater is supposed to be OK though.
  18. So..what is the mystery shampoo? Don't be shy...
  19. I don't know about the safety, but FYI having more than one color increases the illusion of density, so you may even prefer the s&p colored hairs.
  20. Find doctors who are experienced in african hair types rather than deciding on "best doctor in Turkey".
