  1. I'll try and upload some. Had it with Dr Lorenzo and when I say not involved was more around the extraction etc. I found him very knowledgeable but the hairline design it was a bit too conservative I felt, even if it did turn out good so no knock on him. He seems to have a vision for each case and doesn't waver from that?
  2. Hi All, I've had 2 transplants I was a nw5 and had 2 sesssion with a clinic in Spain around 4 years back. Results were pretty good for most part. No longer felt self conscious abt my (lack of) hair. It's been a few years and there's a few things that annoy me a little now about the hairline and the crown graft angles some cause a bit of a weird clash with my normal non transplanted hair. Not the biggest issues but would like to see what I could do. I had around 6.5k grafts transplanted using fue and supposedly have another 1 to 1.5k. Would live to reinforce my hair line make it more youthful and see if I could do something abt the weird angle grafts. Looking for a dr that is quite involved and open to collaborate felt a bit not rushed but surgeon less involved in my 2nd session and that's where I think could have had better gract placement etc. From quick scans on the forums seems the landscape of best or good drs has changed quite a bit and those at the top when I was researching may not still be 🤷‍♂️ Any insight very welcome 🙏 Thank you

  4. Hi All, Had my second hair transplant (3000 grafts, same doc) noticed this morning when I took some pictures with flash on that the right side of my donor has some significant bruising (looks to be localised around where I assume the local anesthesia was administered) Should I be worried, it only seems to be very present on the right side (a side that slept on 3rd day post op/yesterday and pretty much nothing on my left side.) Any advise would be greatly appareciated. Is this something I should contact my surgeon about. Thanks
  5. Hi All, I recently had a live consult with a reputable surgeon. He outlined that he can transplant 2800 grafts into my forntal third to rebuild a hairline and get coverage to abt mid scalp. I am a nw5. He did mention the risks of the transplant and one of them was necrosis. Im just wondering how does one know if they are at risk and is there a specific time that the rsik is at its greatest eg. first few days. Considering i have planned to do this surgery abroad do you think if i stay in the country for three weeks and visit the clinic and assuming everything is ok within this time frame would i still be at risk of developing possible necoriss? Seeing pics of it is really frightening and I'd like to mitigate any chance of getting it.
  6. Great website tons of results. Although i haven't yet found extreme restoration cases like Lorenzo has worked on, but hopefully the website will provide some. Also, I wonder if i do go with Lorenzo initially for the first procedure would it be possible then to switch to Erdogan to finalize or would the different approaches from both surgeons not compliment each other? Let say i did not get the hairline desired from Dr L and would want to strengthen it with Erdogan for my next procedure at the expense of say my crown, would this be possible? Apologies if i'm asking silly questions
  7. Thanks for your reply. At the moment I'm kind of leaning towards Dr Lorenzo as i will need crown work and being a higher norwood i think carrying out the procedure in stages does have its benefits on terms of yield and recovery. Giving me the best chance possible to an adequate result. Also wondering if i did want to go to Erdogan for a second procedure instead of Lorenzo would that disqualify me from having it done at that clinic ( do surgeons like to pick up the work of someone else?)
  8. Hi All, TL;DR Lorenzo vs Erdogan for high NW which to choose. As my title suggest I'm looking to take the plunge in getting a FUE transplant. I've had online consultations with a few of the reputable clinics. However, I'm now wondering which one to book my procedure with. I've been qouted as being a NW5 and would need approx 5k-5.5k in grafts (dependent on my hair characteristics). My two preferred have been Drs. Lorenzo and Erdogan. Dr Lorenzo i feel has extremely well documented results and has a lot of patients obtain full coverage with higher nws then myself. I do feel his hairlines are not as aggresive as Dr Erdogan and being in my late 20's I'd like to have a nice hairline . Also it would most likely take a few surgeries to get a full result which means a lot of travel for me. Dr Erdogan also has a lot of documented results and looks to have an amazing clinic. I feel his results are excellent too but i dont see too many patients with higher nws with posted results as you do with Lorenzo. Initially im thinking go with Dr Lorenzo for a session and then see what my yield and result is, evaluate my remaining donor, and finilise with Erdogan? Im sure I can't really go wrong with either as both are amazing however, i do feel the results both obtain are a bit different where one focuses on coverage and the other (i feel) more so on aesthetic impact. Any insights would be appreciated thanks
  9. Hmm, ive normally found pilar quite prompt to respond too, but, communication seems to have slowed down when ive reached out again . I Was close to booking Dr Lorenzo last time but personal issues came up where i couldn't travel, hope the clinic did not take offense.
  10. Finding it quite hard to get back in contact with Dr Erdogan or Lorenzo, have not heard back any response to my emails. Anyone know what the average turn around is for communication? thanks.
  11. Lorenzo in my past email said waiting list was 6-8 months this was December last year. Im actually thinking of getting Erdogan do around 3k grafts and use for the frontal area and possibly down the track see if i xan book Lorenzo and see what i can achieve in terms of coverage with the remaining available donor area.
  12. Also, would anyone know between the 2 doctors who has the shorter wait time. Im in Europe in September and October and aim to have my procedure then. Ive had correspondence with Lorenzo before and found it would take awhile for the clinic to redpond, so assume wait period may be longer then Dr Erdogan.
  13. Hi All, I am a NW 5 30 y.o. stabilized hair loos for the past 2 years and am looking into getting a FUE procedure with either of the above mentioned. I've seen some consistently great results from both and don't think i could really go wrong with either. However, i seem to realize that Dr Erdogan is a bit more aggressive with grafts then Dr Lorenzo, not that it may have much of a difference as i am a higher NW. Curious to see what the current opinion is on these two doctors or if there are others to throw in the mix that are world class. thanks.
