  1. Wendy you deserve the chocs, when I come to America I will pop you a box in, you were so nice to me and are a star Bucks x
  2. Just seen a blog, Dr Lindsey is in London, get in touch with Spex, at the very least arrange a consult mate. Bucks
  3. This is a very common question, the only trouble is there is no text book answer, it depends upon your skin complection. From my experience at least a little over two months, a lot of people take msm to speed the pre existing hair to cover the transplanted area. Regards, Bucks
  4. Agree with Chrisdav, Spex (based in UK) informed me about Dr Lindsey, he will help you mate. Good Luck Bucks
  5. I just posted my 4 month pictures post, have a look. My HT was carried out by Dr Lindsey.
  6. Contact Dr Lindsey, I'm 4 months post, have a look at my FUT pictures, he's well respected for this case in my humble opinion, Bucks
  7. Dr Lindsey, Thanks for the post and for always answering any questions I've had. Bucks
  8. If your in the UK, get in touch with Spex, at the very least talk to him, he's based in the UK He posts on here, look him up. Cheers Bucks
  9. I was quite red for two months, it came and went. The 3 months mark is when you will get better. I took msm to get my existing hair to cover my ht area and did not get a hair cut until over 3 months, I shaved down as well. Happy growing Bucks
  10. Dr Rahal from what I can see is amazing, I keep looking at the results and can't help but be blown away. I'd like him to post on here, do I could tell him what an amazing Doctor he is. Bucks
  11. In my opinion everything is okay and normal, the grafts will almost all be gone in 4-6 weeks, you will see them when your washing your hair, you may even look slightly worse than when you started. Shock loss can last up to 3 months, but hopefully your hair will grow back, as is the case with most. Being paranoid is all normal, you will question the surgery, keep looking on the mirror, feel anxious etc. just hang in there and remember nothing will change for 3 months, after that you will see the growth. You will know if you have lost a graft if you noticed blood, so don't worry. The opinions are my own I'm not qualified, just a bloke 3:5 months post his FUT op. Bucks
  12. Ny116, I would suggest maybe asking Dr Lindsey this question, maybe send him your photos. Cheers.
  13. Lol Spanker, I looked at your profile today and felt the same about your hair mate. Thanks for your reply buddy and keep in touch, send me a friend request. Bucks
  14. Cheers boys, The ugly duckling stage just gets you down, I've re-posted 14 weeks, seen some signs of growth. THANKS AGAIN, YOU CHAPS ARE AWSOME!!!!!! Bucks
  15. Thank You Irish Sailor for commenting, looking forward to fun stage. Cheers
  16. Congratulations mate, Message for Dr Rahal: your work is breath taking, well done sir.
  17. I'm feeling better now I'm 2 weeks post the ugly duckling stage. I've noticed some growth-fine hairs (they don't show on the picture I've taken-but you can see the outline of the new hair line that Dr Lindsey created if you look closely, my hair is now swept back, no existing hair hiding the transplanted area. I had FUT, I'm very happy with the back and have taken a picture post my first haircut (comments please), the barber said nothing and it was all normal phewwwwww. Hopefully I will now see further growth and some thickening along the hairline-Please comment, I find it a great comfort. Thanks Bucks
  18. Mate, this is sad to read, however good news there is help and support from the community here. My advice is to contact SPEX (member on here) asap, he's based in Uk and will help you. Good luck my friend, Bucks
  19. Hello mate, Can I suggest you get in touch with Spex (well respected hair vet on here), he's based in the UK and you can call him and have a chat. This is a great web site for research and information. Bucks
  20. Thanks jclass......although i'm just seeing some fine transplanted airs coming through on the left hand side, right hand side is a bit slow :-( I had FUT with Dr Lindsey in Washington, I can't see a scar, if you want pictures send me your e-mail address. (pre-op picts on my profile mate) Bucks
  21. I'm at the 3 month mark, the same questions I'm asking myself. The vets seem to think its that horrible waiting game, you and me mate need to see where we are in another 3 months, we are fresh out the ugly duckling stage ( I just posted my Picts at 3 mths today, have a look). take care Bucks
