  1. Great write up David. The scar is very good by the way. Looking forward to your progress.
  2. Your post seems a little suspicious to me TheSpacebetween2. It seems you know very little. On Spex website he recommends a couple of UK clinics (not Farjo's) to consult with and several other leading surgeons around the globe, despite working directly for 3 well known respected surgeons - one being possibly the best FUE surgeon Dr Feriduni in Belgium.
  3. 2000 grafts on a Norwood 6 is very light indeed and I would shave down personally.
  4. Dr Lorenzo - recommended surgeon and Coalition member.
  5. I have seen before and after pictures used by the clinic from several recommended doctors on here. They still have some up on the website currently. The clinics will have no working arrangements with any of them. Written guarantees of a repair treatment mean very little as once the grafts are gone, you cannot get them back - everyone has a finite donor supply. Lastly as for being on the BBC: The consultant who previously worked for one of the most notorious Uk clinics that I had previous poor work with was on ITV show "This Morning" a couple/few years back commenting on Wayne Rooney's hair transplant. I am being brutually honest with you.
  6. hairtodaygonetommorow, Do not use this clinic. I have posted on threads on the forum before about this clinic stealing before and after pictures from Coalition recommended surgeons. Cancel any surgery you have with them now and do a lot more research. ISHRS means absolutely nothing literally.
  7. drstevengedgar@gmail.com is good. I use him as do many others. Well priced and great all round service.
  8. IF after one transplant patients gained back fully their entire head of hair with an adequate hairline that they had before they started losing their hair and progression of baldness stopped completely then hair transplants would not be addictive as the objective would be complete. Hair transplants do not give this in almost every case, baldness is progressive and hence people go back for more. Simple as that
  9. Nelee, If you are in the UK, I recommend Dr Steven Edgar for Finasteride private prescription as he is very helpful and efficient UK GP. His email is about on the forums as many use him. Here you go Drstevengedgar@gmail.com
  10. ARHT Vs Others, Cost of Hair Transplant in UK, Hair Transplant in UK I am sorry but any informed poster only needs to take a quick look at the website to know this is a NOT a go to place for hair transplantation. Then if you look further you will find realistic transformations for Norwood 7's too http://www.arhtglobal.com/hair-transplant-results.php#prettyPhoto
  11. Congraulations GMac123 - glad to hear you are happy... you should be with the progress shown. Dr Lorenzo is an exceptional talent and I am really impressed that every patient who has posted their result on the forum has been thrilled with their outcome.
  12. They never had a particular good reputation in the past.
  13. benji2014, I would avoid the Vinci hair clinic in the UK. There are much better clinics on here. Read across the forums, educate yourself and have several consultations with different doctors.
  14. That is a good scar Muscleheadofhair. If you keep your hair that short (shaved to the burn) scarring would be evident from Fue too so unless you have your hair a little longer, Fue would not be advisable really either. Message to anyone considering a hair transplant: hair transplant surgery is not scarless whatever anyone states and if you are not willing to accept that - do not have a hair transplant!
  15. You are likely to be disappointed in that case unless you have a very high density transplanted and maybe 2 sessions required.
  16. That picture from memory is work by Dr Gho. The punch size is a lot smaller but his results are not very good. That is an example of compromising the final result on top of your head for minimal scarring. None of the surgeons who do top fue work use punches that small so that example is an exception.
  17. I agree with this. Scarring would definitely be noticeable shaving down to a zero bald scalp once you start taking large numbers like 5000-10000 grafts via FUE.
  18. The top part will be debated forever and ever as people have differing opinions on benefits and drawbacks. However, the main reason we can debate these different talking points is we are fortunate to be given a great source of information that allows us to make a better, more informed final decision. If you took the random guy who did no research, the first question that will be brought up and the decision to be made will be do I want a linear scar are not. Then if the surgeon compares horrific scarring from strip procedures dating back years ago and even right up to this moment now - it will put anyone off. I am not saying that surgeons on here do that but I am talking about selling a hair transplant as a procedure around the world to an individual who has little knowledge about hair restoration. Even though forums are popular, the number of patients coming from forums going to have hair transplants globally is I am guessing a pretty small proportion and hence most will be not fully informed. There is so much information you need to process in my opinion when getting a hair transplant as the problem is not resolved there and then - it is an on going battle.
