  1. I know the first couple weeks can be tough, I was there about a month ago. Every little thing bothered me. I tried looking through some of the veterans photo journals to see if my hair was resembling theirs on certain days. I even Pm'd Joe and emailed H&W with specific questions a couple times. I bet they hate super paranoid newly transplanted patients! Things look similar to how mine look and so far so good for me. You're brave to go to work without a hat. I didn't have the courage to face my co-workers in that state. Happy growing man!
  2. This is something to consider. I remember you posted pics with globs of hair in your hand and you stated this was happening for quite some time. Everyone is ancy with their results [myself included] but I would just hang tight for a bit longer & hopefully things take off soon.
  3. Are you the guy that quit propercia & had a massive shed where you hands were covered in hair?
  4. I drove across the boarder. I'm only about 5 hour drive from H&W so my trip was relatively painless.
  5. whille the coverage is a bit thin for my taste. This is a great transformation for the patient. Good work!
  6. You cant expect the same results as others, every patient is different. Too often lately it seems people are expecting too much too early. Around the 6 month mark is when things start happening and continure for a year+ after. You at the early stage of when improvement starts.
  7. If you look in my journal below, I have an image of the hat Dr. Hasson provides. Its pretty big and its worn loosing fitting but it works.
  8. You deff show signs of hair loss. At this point, I would suggest Finasteride/propecia and rogaine if you're disciplined enough for it.. You still have a decent amount of hair so the goal should be keeping what you have. Does hair loss run in your family on either side?
  9. I'm a little late but happy thanksgiving to all ! ! !
  10. I expect reat results from this one. This paitent will be very happy a year from now when he never has to think about the hair piece again!
  11. still very early in the game, but things will be looking good by summer! Happy growing!
  12. Its difficult to assess without seeing where you were prior. With that being said, every patient is different. There's no bench marks you should be shooting for at this point. If in a couple months things aren't looking better, then you might be concerned but right now you're still in the recovery/doldrums phase. If you look a few threads down you'll see my progress thread. It looks like I may have a little more growth than you but part of that might be because I had a more hair to begin with. Happy growing man! When the nice weather rolls around, you'll have great hair to enjoy it in!
  13. Good luck with round 2. It's great that the good doc is taking care of you, but man I would hate to have to go through that recovery phase 2 times.
  14. You should try sending him a private message. He may not even know this post exists
  15. Pics can be found in this thread http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/158186-my-transplant-progress-thread-dr-hasson-2923-grafts.html
  16. Looking good man! Luckily for you, you didnt have to shave anything down so you can go on with your life like nothing ever happend. Did Dr. Dorin comment on how the scar is looking/healing?
  17. I like hasson and Rahal. I'm sure there are many more that I would consider, but those 2 were at the top of my list. I'll come back in 10 months with my results and let you konw if I have a change of heart
  18. Corvettester - As always, thanks for the support. Yeah, I didn't lower it too much, I think just enough. The goal was to have the ability to style it without have a thinning look [fingers crossed that's what I'll get]. In a couple weeks I'll update this thread with the 2 month photos with some slicked back wet pics. Aaron1234 - Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I don't think I had too much shock loss up front. The first inch/inch and a half of my hairline has faded a bit but behind it is still hanging in there. The hairs are at least an inch long. I started FIN the day after the operation. At the 2 week mark I had a massive 2 day shed, but now everything seems to be smooth sailing =] Hair_me_out - Thanks for the comment man! Maverik- I've been trying to keep the HT a secret so if I go out I'm stuck wearing a hat and this will likely be the case for the next 2-3 months until the hair up front gets long enough to style again. Congrats on the procedure. Do you have a thread. Would love to see some pics and follow your progress.
  19. I agree with the above minus # 4. Personally, I'd wait atleast a month or even longer.
