  1. heres another pic a month later. Things are great with the hair. Confidence is high as every. Much attentions from girls. I'll take some pulled back hair pics in a few weeks, although they really wont mean much since its never how I style my hair
  2. Dr. hasson was my preferred choice but I was funneled to him immediately, I'm not sure how, Talk to them about price. I came as a cancellation so I got a bit of a discount. They shaved the entire area that was to be transplanted Scar looks good as far as I can tell. I had a diary of my progress but deleted it, it had really good scar pics in it.. actually I think I still have the disc in this laptop. I'll post those pics up in in a bit
  3. I agree, before my results started improving and I saw all these no growth at 6 months post I always posted the same things "the results don't really start until that point and you should see the transformation between 6-18 months" don't get discouraged or expect to get the results of other posters at a certain stage. There are way too many factors to compare mine to his to his to his etc. happy growing man
  4. The results are looking good at 10 months but I agree, that scar was rough. Happy healing/growing.
  5. It is a bit less dense than whats to be expected but still a nice transformation. Good that Dr. Simmons is willing to take care of you. I think if you use the right product in your hair you can make the results look a little better.
  6. Lookin good my friend. Early growth is always a plus.
  7. The reality is, you can speculate all day and theres no sure way to figure out what caused any noticeable difference. If you think some of the changes had an effect, switch back, otherwise try and forget about it and let the transplant take its course. Around Christmas I stopped using Proscar brand Finasteride. Sometime after my transplant I noticed a slight pain in my right knee. I do physical labor for a living and was laid off 3 weeks after the transplant so it didn't make sense the pain came during the lay off period. I tried to think back on anything that could have caused it but couldn't put my nose on it. I ruled out everything before considering the FIN. I stopped using it and voila the pain went away. I recently switched to another brand after about 2 weeks and didn't notice any shedding during that period.
  8. I agree. Dr. Rahal and armani are the doctors that come to mind when I think of dense packing. H&W are more known for mega-sessions. Rahal was my only other choice when considering a transplant. He packs the hairs a little more dense than some of the other Surgeons but his results are great and it seems he has the patients future in mind.
  9. Scar wasn't a big concern of mine; I don't keep my hair super short and I'm sure I'll need a future surgery, so this scar will probably come and go. That's not to say I was negligent but I think I could have done a little better. That being said, I think once a Dr. has his proven technique, the rest depends on the patients physiology and overdoing it too soon. This Saturday I had some pictures taken to see how my scar is healing and I have to say I'm impressed/lucky. Most of the pink is gone, there's hair growing all throughout, and aside from a couple small spots, its super super thin. I only used vitamin C oil on the donor site once so more than anything I think its how well the patient heals.
  10. Incredible transformation. I must say you have EXCELLENT transplant characteristics. If you went in for another pass you'd probably look like you've never lost a hair.
  11. Earlier today, I had an appointment with a coalition Doctor and this got brought up during our talks. Dr. Lindsey is the only one I've seen post these pics. While its great to show ALL the steps of the process. I honestly think that one could be left out. Its a bit gruesome and could likely scare some people away.
  12. I think your mind can play tricks on you similar to taking pics. There are variables that can make your hair look worse or better. Switching your regimen can deff cause shedding. As far as Toppik goes, I've read that as long as you wash it out you should be fine. Honestly, I'd just wait it out and see where things go. I know this is alot easier said than done, but its still super early @ only 4 months. Growth at this point typically isnt too significant to begin with.
