  1. Well I haven't been here for a while but I thought I would post my 10 month mark after getting 1500 grafts on my hairline from Dr. Hasson. Most of the transplanted hair started growing right away and the hair that did fall out was growing within 2 months so I was pretty pleased with that. I have some before and after pictures, sorry about the quality of the after pictures. In the after pictures there is nothing in the hair but a bit of water. The scar is doing well and I have the sides and back down to a 2. In certain lighting if you really look apparently the scar is barely noticable with the 2 (I got my only friend who I actually told what I did to look for it). Otherwise no one has said anything except that for some reason I look a lot better these days. As far as I can tell pretty much every transplanted hair came in. Dr. Hasson 1500 grafts on the hairline 10 months
  2. That is a pretty nice looking scar, how short can your hair be at the back for it to be noticeable?
  3. I had the same thing with finistride. I got an extremely good looking girl to bed one night and I couldn't keep the damn thing up, probably the most embarrassing moment of my life. I bought some cialis pills to make damn sure that horrible thing never happens again but taking all these pills kinds of worries me. My hair looks better than it has in years though.
  4. About 50% of my transplanted hair shed post op, the rest started growing pretty much right away. I am at 3 1/2 months and that hair is more than an inch long so. The hair that shed is coming in now too.
  5. Well I thought I would update this. The only thing in my hair is a bit of rogaine. Sorry about the webcam quality pictures, I have no batteries for my regular camera but for my next update I'll post higher quality pictures. Anyway I am at 3 1/2 months and a lot of the transplanted hair is over an inch and a half long. Other hair is coming in too. I am pretty pleased with the way things are going, I have actually gone out with a combed-back hair style for the first time in years.
  6. About half my transplanted hair started growing right away, the rest shed.
  7. Looking good, the before and after is already hugely different.
  8. I enjoy looking at the progress pictures on here so I though I would post some of my own. I had my 1500 grafts on oct 27 last year with Dr. Hasson on my hairline. Within about 3 weeks I'd say about half the grafted hair fell out but the rest started growing pretty much right away and is almost an inch long. Some of the hair that fell out is now starting to come in now too. I'm pretty pleased with this and now that I'm almost at 10 weeks I think I may be one of those lucky people who doesn't shed it all (knock on wood). I got a hair cut recently and got the back of my head done with a number 4 and my hair guy didn't say anything (maybe he was just being nice). If I throw a bit of topic on my head my hair looks pretty awesome already so in a few more months I think I should be pretty happy.
  9. I'm getting some myself now at almost 2 months, so glad it's normal.
  10. Ok at almost 2 months now and since my last update no more transplanted hair has shed and the growing hair is almost an inch long...Can I now assume that this hair is not going to shed or is it still too early? Also some of the shed hair seems to be popping in now so that's pretty cool...
  11. Looking good Corvettester, I'm almost at 2 months myself and have a bit of the issue with one side growing better than the other. For me most of the transplanted hair on my left temple is now almost an inch long and growing like crazy. On the right temple only a portion of the transplanted hair is growing but what is there is also growing well.
  12. I'm just under 6 weeks and about half the transplanted hair shed within 3 weeks. The rest seems to be growing really well. Mine looks a little goofy too not that I'm complaining. No experience with pimples though...
  13. I just thought I'd update this...I'm almost at 6 weeks and the hair that hasn't shed yet is more than a centimeter long now so I'm pretty stoked about that...fingers crossed.
  14. Your hairline is very similar to mine, except maybe my forelock was a bit stronger. I had 1500 from Dr. Hasson on my hairline on Oct 27 so I will keep an eye on this thread for your progress. In a few months your hair will look awesome. Have you been able to hide your transplant from people? have you had any shock loss at the front at all?
