Quite sad because it is 100% the clinic's fault and nothing to do with you. Getting a failed transplant can happen, but cobblestoning is incompetence and should never happen Hey, I shared the same with @Eugenix Hair Sciences , they say it's not cobblestoning. IDK what is true though. Could you help me understand it? Is it bad for regrowth? can It be fixed? @Eugenix Hair Sciences @Eugenix Hair Science Can you respond to the above comment on confirming if its Cobblestoning? Going back and forth online isn’t the best way to get an answer. If you’re in India. I suggest setting up an in person consultation, so they can examine you in person. 2 I’m a paid admin for Hair Transplant Network. I do not receive any compensation from any clinic. Have a personal consultation with them and have a dialog on how to move on from here. You still have some months left and thing can turn around. when it comes to the cobblestoning I think you should also talk with others doctors in your area (india?) such as Dr.Bathi and medispa. Is important to get other doctors views too on this issue and to be 100% sure If it is cobblestoning or not.

At this moment, based on the provided pictures, it's difficult to comment on cobblestoning. There are situations where people may perceive cobblestoning, but it often disappears once the hair fully grows in. If you are in India, we suggest visiting the clinic for an in-person consultation with the doctor. Rest assured, Eugenix is with you on this journey of hair restoration. Regular Member shadow_god Posted February 24 Author Regular Member Share Posted February 24 Hey, I want to share this one thing. I have been applying Minoxidil on the area where I got HT after completing 3 months of HT. I still feel I am losing transplanted hair while massaging after applying minoxidil. These transplanted hair should be permanent right? Then why am I losing ? is it due to minoxidil application? If so, it's been 4 months. Should not it have stopped by now? Any chance that they will grow back? It looks awful presently.

This is happening despite me being on minoxidil, finasteride, multivitamins. I dont know whatelse I can do. I am losing grounds all over the head. Senior Member Hairwolf Posted March 24 Senior Member Share Posted March 24 @shadow_god if I were you I would get off the minoxidil. It seems that like myself years ago, you are having a reaction to it and your hair just keeps shedding. Bear in mind, it’s not suitable for everyone.

Your shedding is mostly related to Minoxidil, may be your weak hair's are shedding but I hope they grow back!

Honestly, this hurts my head a bit. This isn't planning. Planning would be to carefully inspect the scalp and pattern of hair loss. It would be to measure the entire scalp so that everyone knew an approximate number of lifetime grafts required to cover your scalp should you reach NW6 or 7 (given the diffuse hair loss in your 20's). It would be to measure you donor capacity to a reasonable degree of accuracy and it would be to proceed with surgery on the basis of a longer-term "worse case" view of your hair loss progression. The good news here is that most of the fun stuff tends to happen between month 6 and month 10, so I'd expect to see some improvement over the coming months. Whether that improvement is sufficient enough to get @shadow_godto where he wants to be is another matter. Regardless of the outcome, it's disappointing to read another case where the planning session was just a hairline drawn on and off we go... I can't say for sure and I don't think anyone else can, but there may be a conflict between your newly transplanted hairs trying to grow and strengthen and the common side effect of a shedding phase with minoxidil. As others have suggested, I'd stop the minoxidil for now and stick to finasteride. Maybe look to switch to oral minoxidil moving forward. You've got a lot of stuff going on all at the same time (newly transplanted hairs coming through, them trying to mature, plus finasteride and topical minoxidil). Scaling back and simplifying your regimen for the time being might help figure out what's going on.

Slowly I will be stopping topical solution. I dont have any heart related issuers with oral minoxidil. it's easier also. Have started taking it 15 days back. I am trying to be patient for next 4 months. I also have a bit of feeling that some what shedding is due to minoxidil as it is massive. So, hope I get some real good growth in couple of months. Fingers crossed. Let's see

Regular Member shadow_god Posted April 14 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 14 Hello everyone, So, it has been quite sometime since I posted any updates. Here are some updates. I met Dr Somesh in Eugenix Clinic at Mumbai. I had a very plesant conversation with. He listened to all my issues(curly hair in frontal area, small small pimples type, massive and massive hairloss all over the head). He has assured me that he would be monitoring my growth for the next 3-4 months to see final progress, and will be doing all that is possible. So, after consulting him I have stopped topical minoxidil(that I started after 3 months of HT) and increased my oral minoxidil dosage from 2.5mg once a day (I started from March 1o, 2024) to 2.5mg twice a day. My only concern is how to stable my hair loss. When I was there right infront of him, I probably showed hikm over 1000 hair shaft falling out. It was supper aggressive like very scary to me in normal eyes. My current regimen- 1mg Finax everyday, 2.5mg Minoxidil(Lonitab) twice a day. Q-Sera Hair Serum twice a week, Scalpe plus shamppp twice a week, and multivitamins. After 3 months, under Doctor's provision I might start dutasteride if hairloss is not controlled. Let's hope all goes well. Also I have received pics taken on March 10th (around 7.5 months) and 4th April(around 8.5 months). I will be sharing today
