  1. As i previously mentioned the front is looking good considering your starting point. You have enough to comb it back with an illusion of density and chance of some more thickening and maturation.
  2. That’s a fair point. The conservative route is wise. Happy growing
  3. @deadman This was an FUT procedure? If so, The scar looks lower than usual and not so bad from that angle
  4. Good to see a report from this Dr, who has been heavily promoted by a prominent YouTuber. Works looks good, but some before pics would be good to get a better idea here. You mentioned they could only get 3000 from your donor? Was that due to donor capacity?
  5. IMO, you should deal with the hairline first. There are multi- grafts and they did not use soft singles for naturalness and the density is a bit weak also in parts.
  6. Hi, myself and others went to Dr Laorwong and there are many detailed reports about online about travel and the process and so on. Good luck
  7. Looking good here! This Dr is a solid choice!
  8. Sorry to hear this. Your first transplant was successful? There have been negative reviews about this clinic. It appears you may have shockloss in the beard area so give it another while yet. Oral minox may help that as well. If not, you may need a scalp to beard transplant by an expert in Europe for example Bisanga or Mwamba. Avoid Turkey again.
  9. Some pics would be great. So you are still taking immunosuppressants?
  10. Are you for real? Pics? Who was your ‘donor’ then. To paraphrase AI above everyone has a unique genetic code and so you risk the grafts dying from attacking antibodies. If they were able to somehow do this successfully it would indeed be a breakthrough. So I’m skeptical about this post .
  11. Well then you are doing everything you can now. As you mentioned, realistically, this is a decent result and the 2nd time around should give you a significant cosmetic improvement.
  12. Doesn’t look too bad considering your starting point and your anxiety with the techs and multi-patients. Hairline looks pretty natural and has more time to densify further. Did the doc recommend any medication? Maybe Oral minox may give you a boost here, but of course speak to your Dr first.
  13. I agree that there is nothing you can do now but wait, however the area is completely bare compared to the rest of the recipient area. Also it is in the area where the dark blue heaving scabbing was, so I’m sorry to say it appears like it may indeed be a possible case of necrosis. Although of course I’m not a doctor, so consult with a professional on this. Furthermore, work was planted in rows, but doesn’t seem like the worst angled work ever which is a positive thing. Are you back on the minoxidil? This could have triggered a shed or may not be helping matters so I would lay off it for a while imo You can shave it down after 4 weeks so go ahead with that and if the worst comes to the worst then it can be fixed by a quality surgeon. Would avoid Turkey imo and definitely don’t go back to them a second time.
  14. Hard to say anything without some close-ups and pre op pics. Name of the clinic would be helpful also.
  15. Ah they are in the wrong then by backtracking like that at the last minute. I know what you mean by angulation anxiety. I remember from your previous thread re your first procedure in Turkey about grafts hairline sticking up. Was that any cause for concern this time around?
  16. The only thing here is that I don’t see confirmation of non-shave here, so perhaps something was lost in translation. Btw how was the DHI process? Any discernible difference from pre-made incisions?
  17. Glad to hear it! I’ve booked in with Dr Laorwong again for the summer but have been unable to reach him again since. I’ll try Line I guess.
  18. It is certainly far from ideal to be told that 30 min before the surgery. I understand sticking to your guns here; however I understand others would bite the bullet here and go shaven. You are still a young lad, so keeping some grafts in the tank for further down the line is wise also.
  19. Work looks good however the hairline is quite low and so don’t believe you needed that many grafts. Did you request the low hairline? Also who performed the surgery?
  20. Can you post the original thread to remind me of the original context of the post?
  21. This was as others have pointed out, a high risk, reward situation! Seems like it is working out for you here! Will be following this one! ☝️
  22. Right so at the 8 and a half month mark here. Haven’t really noticed a dramatic difference- hairline might be a bit more defined and bit more growth in zone 3 perhaps. Anyway happy enough so anything more is the cherry on the cake really. Shaved it down just over a week ago again to a 6 on top and 3 at the sides first 9 and the last 2 pics are from the 8 month mark and the following are from a week ago leading up to a couple of days ago, witj different lighting for context. looking forward to the 2nd crown op in July. Booked in January as just as well as like others have reported , I have difficulty reaching the Dr at the minute.
  23. I agree that I would go for the 3500 range here, as OP’s hair loss is mainly frontal and would make a big cosmetic improvement. Would wait until at least 10 months to a year on meds before surgery. Where I disagree is that 1000 grafts isn’t much. Could be the difference between another scalp procedure without needing beard hair.
