Senior Member kirkland Posted May 8, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted May 8, 2022 Hello all, My apologies for not posting earlier. My plan was to write-up my 6-month review after getting a haircut to show off my fantastic results at this stage but I have been so insanely busy that I have not even had a chance to get to the barber. Doesn't matter, though. I've been so happy just letting my hair grow out and I love how wildly unkempt it is. Just having my hair back has been such a joy that I don't really care how it looks right now. Having said that, a trip to the barber soon is in the forecast. Before the pics, I just want to say a few things: First - I am at the 29-week stage now so almost 7 months in. Second - the hair continues to thicken and it has amazed my family/friends/work colleagues. Third - I have now had 3 friends ask me to refer them to Eugenix because of my transformation. Glad to do so. Also, I do apologize for not being as active recently but I am on an insane schedule and have not been doing much screen time with my free time. If you have any questions, please feel free to DM me as I can respond quicker. I won't be on here too much for the coming months as I take care of some projects. Ok - quick recap. In October, 2021, I had just over 3500 grafts transplanted by Dr. Arika Bansal and her team. I was a NW6 and the focus was on the hairline and mid-scalp with the intention to address the crown in a separate surgery. My donor characteristics are excellent with my hair being thick (I do not know what my average follicle caliber is - sorry). As such, 3500 grafts, for me, has gone a very long way. I am on 2.5 mg oral minox daily, 0.5 mg oral dut 3x per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and 3 months ago, added Dr. Mwamba's topical dut formula 1x per week only to the crown area after a light microneedling session. Here's me the day before leaving to India in October, 2021 (the red shadow is from a past SMP treatment that left a semi-permanent red blush on my scalp): Here's my donor and crown area pre-surgery: Post-op day 1: Post-op day 2: Post-op week 4 (in 3 pics): Post-op week 15 (in 3 pics): Post-op week 29 (my most recent pics): My quick review: Absolutely thrilled about my results. I can't say enough good things about Eugenix and my results. Even to this day, they are still checking up on me to see how I am doing which is great customer service. Met a couple of people who had friends that went to Turkey for their HT's and they both said that my outcome was much more dramatic. I am planning to return either later this year or early next year to finish off the crown, do the temple points and add some volume overall to the mid-scalp.

Senior Member Ryan Daniel Posted May 8, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted May 8, 2022 Ian this is serious progress, very happy for you I had no idea your native hair was so thick at the back since we always know you with shaved hair. I swear, you are going to have double the result you are currently having at 12 to 14 months!
Senior Member ahmed9500 Posted May 8, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted May 8, 2022 Wow! Lucky man that is a serious transformation - still at the half way point. At the 18th month mark you will be buzzin (not the hair😂)!!

Might be easier to document your journey on one thread from start to finish. Senior Member kirkland Posted May 9, 2022 Author Senior Member Share Posted May 9, 2022 Hey all - thanks again for the lovely feedback. And, again, my apologies for not being as quick to respond. This new hair got me a new job back in January but the hours are killer and it is a lot more screen time than I am used to so in my downtime, I am trying to avoid being in front of a computer or on my phone.
Senior Member kirkland Posted May 9, 2022 Author Senior Member Share Posted May 9, 2022 I really didn't do proper justice to the review. I put it together yesterday as I have really missed the mark on the 6-month timeline. The hair is ridiculously thick and amazes everyone who knew me before without hair. It's already piqued the interest of some of my former workmates who saw me last week at a retirement party. I've been completely amazed by the results and the dramatic change in my appearance. Looking forward to getting a haircut in the coming weeks but trying to clear some space in my schedule since I am working long weekdays and my Saturdays are now booked with doing a large home renovation.

I think this results just absolutely been transformative for your appearance Ian. Literally a night and day type of difference in looks at a 6 months mark and you STILL are just half way. I can just only imagine how much more amazing your result could be if you did go for another procedure BUT i think you have an amazing 6 months worth of results yet to come!
