Regular Member njeezy Posted March 7, 2021 Regular Member Share Posted March 7, 2021 Hi, what do you guys think so far? It’s been 3 months post op for me. Sapphire FUE 4500 grafts in Istanbul. Hair is growing whispy and weak. I started to apply coconut oil 3 weeks ago. I don’t think this is a successful surgery. I could be very negative about this. Do you guys think more hair will grow? Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted March 7, 2021 Valued Contributor Share Posted March 7, 2021 You are only at 12 weeks post op and still waiting for the ugly duckling phase to pass. Everyone grows at different rates. Melvin did a great video on this topic. It's far too early to be worrying. Who performed the surgery? It's a game of patience. What has your surgeon said. All the best. 1 GATSBY 'UNPLUGGED!' 15,671 (3 surgeries) Grafts FUE+BHT Dr. Sethi Eugenix

Senior Member Britanium Posted March 8, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted March 8, 2021 As others have mentioned your very early in the growth timeline. Most people don’t even have growth starting until month 4 approx. You did have a large area to cover, what are your expectations from this ht?
Regular Member njeezy Posted March 8, 2021 Author Regular Member Share Posted March 8, 2021 (edited) @JohnAC71honestly, I don’t know what my expectations are. I do have very strong donor. Hoping to at least get good results. Edited March 8, 2021 by njeezy

Senior Member ITA Posted March 8, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted March 8, 2021 (edited) It is still very early, do not worry. The Serkan Aigyn’s clinic is a Turkish low cost clinic, but I have seen so many good results from “clients” who have done the procedure in this clinic. Regular Member njeezy Posted March 8, 2021 Author Regular Member Share Posted March 8, 2021 @Egythanks, what are the best clinics in Istanbul?
Senior Member ITA Posted March 8, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted March 8, 2021 @njeezyHere if we talk about Serkan Aigyn, we are talking about low-cost clinics, they are absolutely not comparable to clinics like HLC and Pekiner, the latter in my opinion, the only best clinics in Turkey, among other things they are not even in Istanbul but in Ankara .
Senior Member Britanium Posted March 8, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted March 8, 2021 Decent clinics in Turkey.... HLC, Pekiner and Dr Bicer are a few...

Senior Member ITA Posted March 9, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted March 9, 2021 (edited) On this forum, I only remember a couple, by the way lately, a member I don’t remeber his name, he posted his experience with the Serkan clinic, two transplants it seems to me, gone wrong , and then asked for his thread to be deleted, because the clinic had contacted him and they were arguing. But @njeezyI have already written to you that I have personally seen good results from someone who has operated in Serkan's clinic. It is still a hair mill, and I believe that if you chose to go there, you knew the risks you could take. Edited March 9, 2021 by Egy

What are your thoughts about my procedure so far and growth? Since it is early.... Way to early to tell at this point. Concerns would be that was a lot of grafts sure, but you had a large area to cover. As others have mentioned the clinic usually has poor results unfortunately. I wish you good growth for your case. Just be prepared that you may not be satisfied in 9 months time. Its entirely possible the density wont be quite adequate and your hairline may need further refining. For now all you can do is see how the growth is on a monthly basis. Be interesting to follow.
Regular Member njeezy Posted March 9, 2021 Author Regular Member Share Posted March 9, 2021 @JohnAC71thanks for the feedback. I’m praying there’s growth. From the surgery it seems like they did a good job.
