I had my second hair transplant done. The implanted hairs still feel hard and sharp after all the scabs have been gone. It’s been a month so far. Would this be considered normal? I haven’t seen much shedding yet.

I had my 2nd HT done beginning of December 2021. So far all the scabs have been gone and they implanted new hairs in the crown and front. Seems like all the scabs from the crown are gone but it looks the same as before. I’m worried that the crown won’t grow. Thoughts?

@Melvin-Moderatoryeah surgeon said the same. 2nd session will be covered in crown. I also hear that FIN helps to retain existing hair, nor really grow. Which is why I have decided to switch to fin gel.

Hi, I got a transplant done back in December 2020 in Turkey. 4500 grafts frontal only, planning to go back in 6-8 months. I wanted to ask if I could get some feedback on the progress so far. I have noticed the shedding phase but also my scalp is very dry that I had to use coconut oil. Please see photos as I feel my hair looks “whispy/kirky”. Does this look normal so far?

@JohnAC71with strong donor, I should have good results. I want to lower my hairline a bit as well but we will see...

@Melvin-Moderatorok I will, I’m planning on using the topical fin. I’ve known some people who don’t use it at all and they’ve had good results.
