Regular Member Sukh Posted January 25, 2021 Regular Member Share Posted January 25, 2021 I am thinking about getting a hair transplant. So many doctors are mentioned as doing great work. How would you guys rate Hasson and Wong. I want the best results. I am willing to wait.
Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted January 25, 2021 Valued Contributor Share Posted January 25, 2021 Hasson and Wong are the benchmark to which other surgeons are compared to. They have been around for a long time producing consistent natural results. 1 GATSBY 'UNPLUGGED!' 15,671 (3 surgeries) Grafts FUE+BHT Dr. Sethi Eugenix
Senior Member Britanium Posted January 25, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted January 25, 2021 Personally I would consider Hasson & Wong and Dr Konior as pretty much the best in the USA !

Senior Member deeznuts Posted January 26, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted January 26, 2021 (edited) Quick question (sorry if hijacking thread) - if my choices are between H&W and Dr. Rahal and I'm trying to get my hairline fixed (Norwood 2), what would you say separates Dr. Rahal from Dr. Hasson and vice versa for this kind of procedure? Also, kinda weird but it feels like we never hear of any names from East Asia despite East Asia having a thriving plastic surgery industry Edited January 26, 2021 by deeznuts

Regular Member Sukh Posted February 4, 2021 Author Regular Member Share Posted February 4, 2021 Surgery scheduled for feb 11-12th. With Dr.Hasson. super excited. But equally nervous. Paid my deposit. Almost feels like I rushed a bit in getting this done. After reading a couple reviews here about guys not getting the results and saying not sure if it’s worth the money made me more nervous. Also, the swelling aspect is making me nervous as well! Wish me luck.

Wish me luck. You’ve made an excellent choice, I haven’t seen negative reviews from H&W. No clinic is perfect, but they’ve been at the very top for two decades. You’ve made a good choice. Senior Member aaron1234 Posted February 6, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted February 6, 2021 Do you usually wear your hair long in the back? If so, then you should really consider FUT. 4,000 grafts will do you plenty good, especially in the hands of Dr. Hasson, regardless if it's FUT or FUE. Dr. G: 1,000 grafts (FUT) 2008 Dr. Paul Shapiro: 2,348 grafts (FUT) 2009 ~ 1,999 grafts (FUT) 2011 ~ 300 grafts (Scar Reduction) 2013 Dr. Konior: 771 grafts (FUT) 2015 ~ 558 grafts (FUT) 2017 ~ 1,124 grafts (FUE) 2020 My Hair Transplant Journey with Shapiro Medical Group
Regular Member Sukh Posted February 6, 2021 Author Regular Member Share Posted February 6, 2021 This is the longest my hair has been. I usually have it shorter. Why would Fut be better?
