WEEK 9 UPDATE!!

All the same as before just keep plodding on. Coronavirus  getting beyond a joke now 😂 so if I’m self isolating for 12 weeks atleast people will see a difference in my hair (I hope) 😂 all the meds still the same. Bring on the growth!

I mean - I suppose if ever there was a good time to self-isolate, right after a hair transplant would be the time to do it. Sooooo.... good timing, I guess? :)

I am a patient advocate for Dr. Parsa Mohebi in Los Angeles, CA. My views/opinions are my own and don't necessarily reflect the opinions of Dr. Mohebi and his staff.

WEEK 10 UPDATE!!

Finally seeing progress and feeling hopeful that I will achieve a good result. The meds are all the same and everything else is still the same just counting down week by week roll on 3 months time I can’t wait to see where I’m at. Do any of you guys know when your donor area is fully recovered as I think mine is looking abit thin on the sides? Also looking at my crown I know it’s thin but do you think I’ll have enough grafts available in donor to make the crown look better? All the best chaps 👍

WEEK 13 UPDATE!

everything still the same. I’m seing new hairs sprouting all the time now I can’t wait for another month to pass to see how they grow. One thing I am worried about is how my donor looks though. It looks really sparse and looks like shock loss I hope it will come back to normal eventually. What’s your opinions chaps? Also as from now I will be doing monthly updates instead of weekly. All the best

Looks like it starts to fill in, very nice! I'm almost at 4 month mark and have quite some growth started as well 🙌
I hope your donor will recover as well!

Month 5 Update!!!

Everything still the same. Crown seems to be thickening up a bit as it gets longer. I’ve also started minox on my donor area I’m not expecting miracles just hoping the sides won’t look so patchy. As for the growth I’d say it’s probably average some days I think wow that’s coming on well but then again there’s other days I think is that it? Any questions hit me up chaps. Would also be nice to hear what you think? 👍

@Bigjab your hairline is taking shape nicely and your face in now being framed which is a big step forward. Your growth has taken off now , in the next few months you will see a good improvement for sure. You have a lot to look forward to. Keep your sides and back buzzed down well and that will enhance your appearance and make your hair on top look better. Happy growing my friend.

Looks good! You can clearly see a lot of hairs are starting to grow and gets darker. I'm myself on a similar stage, few weeks behind you and I can say hair is getting thicker and darker, thus covering much more scalp, which is clearly your case!
Looking forward to seeing your result in upcoming months. Should look very nice.
On another note your occipital donor region looks very good, so you've got some reserves there if you will find the need of topping up!

Thank you very much for your kind words 👍 I wish you the best also @Rolandas we both have a lot to look forward to as the growth has only just really started to kick in properly. I’m glad you said that about my donor area as I plan to go back for my crown doing some time next year. Dr Demirsoy said I have between 2000-2500 donor reserves left so hopefully that’s enough.

Update!!!
First hair cut today since the lock down nothing special my next door neighbour did it for me haha number 1 back and sides I'm liking how it’s coming on currently 5 months 18 days post op.
Let me know your opinions guys personally I think the donor looks much better shaved down and the crown seems to look better but I still think I will need to go back and get a second procedure on the crown.

A tiny bit of hair fibers and you will look like a rock star :D

I'm at 5 month and see similar growth, so I guess you're right on track! :D

Btw. I think you might benefit from skin fade? I just went to a barber who did skin fade on my donor and because the skin is quite pale, scar tissue is almost identical color, so it's literally undetectable.
