Senior Member Shera Posted April 21, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted April 21, 2015 Hi Raj, Hope all is well mate. You are definitely making progress, that's the main thing, just wondered if your progress may have been different if you had opted to take the meds, just a thought. Will update my post with 6 months pictures in the next few days. ___________________________________ Dr Bhatti 3305 FUE 20/10/2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.co...ct-2014-a.html
Senior Member Raj Jayukdht Posted May 17, 2015 Author Senior Member Share Posted May 17, 2015 Shera as you know Im not a big fan of taking the meds, maybe my progress may have been different if I had taken them. I will post on my 8th month mark in june, as there's not much happening over the 7th month mark. formerly know as Jayukdht http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/177363-hair-transplant-dr-bhatti-oct-14-part-2-procedure.html
Senior Member hairweare Posted May 17, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted May 17, 2015 I just scrolled through your progress and feel that your result so far is under par for what would be expected at 6 months. Things may of course change for the better in the next couple of months which is what we are all hoping for. Considering that your donor area looked very good and your FUSS scar was not that bad I really didn't understand the need for using beard grafts other than perhaps 200-250 to fill in the scar. Imo, beard grafts are a last resort after scalp donor hair has been exhausted and is best utilized for scars or mixed in with scalp hair for the crown. I have had 800 beard grafts used in this manner and they are now undetectable.
Senior Member Raj Jayukdht Posted May 21, 2015 Author Senior Member Share Posted May 21, 2015 Hi Hairweare Im also hoping my results will improve in the coming months, its getting better each month, my hair does grow very slow. In regards to beard hair, it was my decision as I wanted to try out beard hair to see what kind of density it can give me...even with 401 grafts, I can feel some of my grafts that are thick just behind my hairline. If I decide to have part 3 ht, I will defo exhaust my donor area first and leave my beard hair to the last. formerly know as Jayukdht http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/177363-hair-transplant-dr-bhatti-oct-14-part-2-procedure.html

Senior Member Raj Jayukdht Posted June 10, 2015 Author Senior Member Share Posted June 10, 2015 Right let’s get down to my 8 months review. I decided to miss out my 7th month review, as there wasn’t much going on at the top. So now I’m in my 8th month, (where has time gone), overall I would say its lot better since my 6th month review. However I don’t think the density is fully there at the front scalp. The 2 small bald patches, the grafts still haven't grown, I don’t think they will but lets see in the next 4 months or so. My left temple point some of the grafts have not fully grown and the ones that have look abit curly. The photos that you see are taken 1 week apart, first lot with wet hair and second lot with short hair with little coconut oil applied. As my hair gets very dry I find that coconut oil helps to keep my hair at bay and not to fizzy out. I will do my next review when its 10 months (august). See you than. PS I will judge my final result by end of this year!! formerly know as Jayukdht http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/177363-hair-transplant-dr-bhatti-oct-14-part-2-procedure.html
Senior Member Yonex Posted June 11, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted June 11, 2015 I would have expected a lot more at 8 months, there should at least be thin hair growing in those bare patches but they look completely bald, however you still have more months ahead for the rest of it to thicken up. What has you're doctor said?
Senior Member Raj Jayukdht Posted June 11, 2015 Author Senior Member Share Posted June 11, 2015 I did briefly speak to Dr Bhatti and he thinks that maybe as I didnt take the meds, the growth is taking longer to grow. He said to contact him once the year is up (Oct). Maybe also I have shock loss aswell, as density is not there yet. formerly know as Jayukdht http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/177363-hair-transplant-dr-bhatti-oct-14-part-2-procedure.html
Regular Member dds Posted June 11, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted June 11, 2015 I don't think you can expect new hair at this stage. The existing grafts would probably thicken for another 4 months
Senior Member Shera Posted June 11, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted June 11, 2015 Hi Raj, hope you are well mate. There does seem to be some movement from your last update, I think Dr Bhatti is probably right with regards to the meds. You had your procedure the day after me, I have been taking the meds religiously as prescribed which probably accounts for the difference in growth. Hopefully you will get there, slowly but surely, don't forget, the race is still on for the next 4 months lol! The winner pays for all the tempo (autorickshaw) driver lifts home next time we hit Chandigarh! Senior Member Raj Jayukdht Posted August 30, 2015 Author Senior Member Share Posted August 30, 2015 I’ve finally made it to my 10th month mark. I decided not to post anything for the 9th month, as there wasn’t much happening. Anyway my 10th month mark has been very interesting, my planted grafts feel thicker and I can occasionally feel my beard hairs when I run my fingers across the top of my scalp, overall it’s getting there slowly. I strongly feel that if I decided to take the meds after my transplant I feel that my growth would have been better and faster, its like I’m catching up now as I didn’t take the meds from the beginning. I’ve attached few photos, some photos are before my hair cut, so my hair is a bit long, what I’ve also noticed that if I keep my hair long my scalp looks less density packed and if its short my hair looks so much better and fuller..I hope that make sense. So rather than cutting my hair every 6 weeks, I’ve now started to do it every 4 weeks. Sadly my 2 small bald patches either side of my temples there is no growth, not sure why and IMO I don’t think the grafts will grow now. I will next post again when I have reached my 1-year mark, October. Also just a quick thanks to everyone who has emailed me for my advice and advice that I have taken from members. There are more photos/information on my personal website, I don’t think I can share the name here, please email me and I be happy to send the address over to you. formerly know as Jayukdht http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/177363-hair-transplant-dr-bhatti-oct-14-part-2-procedure.html

Regular Member itxrd Posted September 7, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted September 7, 2015 Thanks a lot for the update Jay!! I think it looks great. Sure may not be 10/10 but for your age you look like you have a good head of hair. That's what we all want ;-) Well done. I am off to india in Nov and am considering getting it done. Can only got for 2 weeks though so don't fancy having scabs on my head when I get back to work! Romy
Regular Member SunSeeker Posted September 9, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted September 9, 2015 Raj_Jay, Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm considering FUE, and your thread was very helpful (especially because I'm actually very nervous about going through with it). I have a few questions. Did Dr Bhatti say why the hairs didn't grow in those holes? Or did he say what caused them? I'm new to this, but I don't understand why the hairs wouldn't grow in circles like that. Is this common in FUE/hair transplant? FUE for me?? Maybe???
Senior Member Sethticles Posted September 9, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted September 9, 2015 Hi Raj, I personally think you've had good result, although i can feel your disappointment with the two side bits, but other than that what an improvement, you hair is nice and long stands nice and tall and slicked back, rather jealous, all the best mate June 2013 - 3000 FUE Dr Bhatti Oct 2013 - 1000 FUE Dr Bhatti Oct 2015 - 785 FUE Dr Bhatti Dr. Bhatti's Recommendation Profile on the Hair Transplant Network My story and photos can be seen here http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/Sethticles/
Regular Member Joesocks202 Posted September 9, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted September 9, 2015 I'm looking into HT and asked about the FUE and two doctors told me not as good as the strip. Looking at this pal, I got to tell you it looks really spacey/sparsy. And you are missing complete sections in the hairline by the sides. Did your doctor say it will grow in more? Just saw the same exact type of a problem in another FUE patient here. I hope you grow more but at this phase wonder if thats a reality. Hope you can grow out more. Senior Member mikeey Posted September 15, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted September 15, 2015 hey Raj well the hair has grown without doubt , But it looks quite sparse , considering you already had enough hair to cover and style , I wud have Loved to see some Real Thickness and Bulk , there is quiet a bit of a Temples "NO Growth " , I wud consider it a Ok result , Nothing too good or Bad .... Average at the Most . Are you considering any Further HT ? becos I think after 11 Months ... there is Really No chance of any further Improvement ... just my Opinion !
