  1. Thank you David, Veddev and Home1212 for your replies. FUT vs FUE will always be interesting topic to discuss for few years to come I think.
  2. WOW where has the time gone, can’t believe it’s been 18 months since I had my second HT with Dr Bhatti. Below you will find some photos showing my 18 months HT mark, since my 12 months mark I would say my hair has become more thicker. Sadly I still have my 2 small bald patches (each temple side), which I will fix. I still get some days where my front scalp looks less density packed, again I will need to address this at a later stage along side my crown. I’m still taking Biotin, Rogaine 5% every day and also applying Coconut oil after a shower as this stops my hair getting dry. In Jan 16 I started applying Chinese oil serum every day in my scalp and twice a week using Chinese shampoo/cond. to wash my hair with. I believe by using these products it has contributed to my final result and I’m very happy to carry on using these products for my hair. Very importantly I met hair surgeon Dr Bisanga from Belgium (top guy) in London in Jan 16, as I wanted to interview him for my hair loss article that I was writing. He very kindly agreed to examine my donor scalp and advised me that my donor area had some miniature grafts and for my third procedure the hair surgeon would need to be very careful in picking out the strong grafts. He believes the 2 bald temples that I have are the reason of miniature grafts. Dr Bisanga has advised me that he can only give me about 30 grafts per cm2. He would take 1000 grafts from donor area and 500 from bread from one visit. In total he thinks I have 1500 from donor area and about 2000 grafts from the bread area left. I’m seeing Dr Bhatti in London sometime next week to discuss my options and to get his opinion on what is best for me next. If anyone wants to meet Dr Bhatti in London please can you contact Shera (UK rep for Dr Bhatti).
  3. I agree with Dr Bhatti, its only 1 month and its all going to plan. You're going to have a fab result. From your pics, your crown doesnt seem that bad.
  4. Mikeey if you never tried herbs or Lotions stuff, than how can you say it doesnt work. Your right is saying "No cure to genetic Baldness" but there are other stuff out there apart from Propecia that can slow down hair loss, hence why Im trying this Chinese stuff. Shera Congrats on coming Dr Bhatti Rep for the UK.
  5. Hi Sultsay please see your private email inbox Indi9, in regards to Chinese herbs I will create a new post sometime in April. Ive have been using these products now for few months and the results have been very good. Before I post my results I want to give it abit more time in using them.

  8. Hey Mick50 I understand where you coming from...Ive noticed this year that Im losing more hair in the mid and crown now. I guess I have to see how it plans out over the coming months
  9. Thanks Shera for your kind feedback and for sure I will enjoy my fruits from having a HT. Home1212 just for the record Dr Bhatti has offered to fix the bald patches for free next time Im in India. Dont worry Sethticles I will keep in touch.
  10. Thank you Sethticles, Harin, Starscream, David and Dr Bhatti for the kind words. Its very much appreciated. Your right Sethticles in saying "hardly tell especially to the untrained eye.". Only few weeks back we went to a theme park and had some photo taken and I noticed that my hairline looked broken (hope that makes sense). But with little hair bush to the side it wasn't that bad. Ive taken close up shots of the bald patches and your right Dr Bhatti "Both areas are fairly devoid of any hair at all and in very isolated but well defined outlines". Anyway as stated before I'm planning not to do another HT next year, having a break from thinking about after another HT procedure...lol. Dr Bhatti I will email you by the end of this week..thanks
  11. Firstly my apologies for posting my 1-year result late, it should have been back in October, I’ve started a very exciting project back in February and it has taken most of my time up, so once again sorry. The last few months my results have picked up, my hair seems to get thicker each month. Before my HT I used to cut my hair every 7 weeks or so but now I need to have it done 4 to 5 weeks as the front gets too curly and I find that having short hair my overall hair density looks so much better. Sadly I still have my 2 small bald patches (each temple side), I did speak to Dr Bhatti about this and he wasn’t sure why the grafts didn’t grow in this section. Dr Bhatti has kindly offered to fix this problem free of charge next time I’m in India (not sure when). Overall I’m happy with the result but some days my front scalp lacks density but other days its looks fine. Maybe next time I will need to add few more grafts at the front to give a fully density. The photos attached were taken in October and November mostly all in the daytime and in the same room. I’ve also added few before photos as well. I’ve had lots of comments from my friends that say…”hey you have more hair on top now”, “you have full head of hair on top, and you’re not going bald” etc A lot of questions have been asked privately here on this forum to me: - Are you happy? Yes I am but maybe my expectations were too high. Are you still happy that you didn’t take the med? - I’m 100% happy that I didn’t take the med, but honestly I believe taking the med does help the final growth up to 15 months or so. Do you recommend Dr Bhatti for HT? - I fully recommend Dr Bhatti to anyone thinking of having a HT. I don’t blame Dr Bhatti for having 2 small bald patches, no one know why I have these patches. Are you going to have another HT? - This is a very good question; I believe its best if I give it at least another year or so and than see my next plan of action. I know my crown is going bald now and I guess my mid scalp native hairs will go as well. Who knows I may surprise Dr Bhatti and turn up at his clinic for another HT part 3…lol What meds are you taking now? - At present I’m taking Biotin, Stinging Nettle, Rogaine 5% every day and also applying Coconut oil after a shower as this stops my hair getting dry. Once again thank you for the private messages that I received over the months, it was greatly appreciated. I will do my final post in January 2016, which will be 15 months. If anyone wants to meet me around the London area for a chat about my HT or if you are thinking of having a HT and have some questions, I’m happy to meet up over coffee or lunch at nandos....lol
  12. What can I say Shera, another outstanding result by Dr bhatti. You look much younger now. You must me over the moon. I guess you dont need to worried about having another HT for few years to come, your crown looks perfect. I dont know what Joesocks is on about, Joe this case is not fake, I was there when Shera had his HT...his case is genuine. Shera Diwali is coming this week, do you remember ours in Chandigarh, roaming the streets of the city...lol
  13. Cant believe it's been a year since my visit to Dr Bhatti, I will post my 1 year photos hopefully by the weekend. Thank you to the members who have contacted me privately, I will answer your questions in my next post.
  14. I did speak to him and showed him the pics, he wasnt sure himself why the grafts didnt grow. I will talk to him again end of November after 1 year mark.
  15. I believe you are better now than you did before your HT. I suggest for your next HT, get as much grafts as you can including BHT on your scalp.
  16. David I will wait till April 2016 for my full result and than decide on my next plan of action.
  17. I’ve finally made it to my 10th month mark. I decided not to post anything for the 9th month, as there wasn’t much happening. Anyway my 10th month mark has been very interesting, my planted grafts feel thicker and I can occasionally feel my beard hairs when I run my fingers across the top of my scalp, overall it’s getting there slowly. I strongly feel that if I decided to take the meds after my transplant I feel that my growth would have been better and faster, its like I’m catching up now as I didn’t take the meds from the beginning. I’ve attached few photos, some photos are before my hair cut, so my hair is a bit long, what I’ve also noticed that if I keep my hair long my scalp looks less density packed and if its short my hair looks so much better and fuller..I hope that make sense. So rather than cutting my hair every 6 weeks, I’ve now started to do it every 4 weeks. Sadly my 2 small bald patches either side of my temples there is no growth, not sure why and IMO I don’t think the grafts will grow now. I will next post again when I have reached my 1-year mark, October. Also just a quick thanks to everyone who has emailed me for my advice and advice that I have taken from members. There are more photos/information on my personal website, I don’t think I can share the name here, please email me and I be happy to send the address over to you.
  18. The mega session hair transplant procedure is the most modern and advanced way to achieving the growth of a full head of hair, in the shortest period of time in people who are extensively bald and need body hair to be grafted besides scalp hair. I have always believed that less surgery is better than more surgery in people with more extensive balding patterns. If you can get 5,000 grafts in two sessions, why go for 5 sessions of 1000 grafts each? If the density and laxity allow for it, than why not have one or two session and hopefully just be done with the surgical process quicker. This means in a practical sense that 6-12 months after the first session of 5000 grafts, you can see results which will impact your ability to style your hair. A skilled physician is necessary for any surgery you have and I believe Dr Bhatti has nailed it with doing mega sessions, Dr Bhatti knows the time the graft is out of the body is important, keeping it hydrated and handling well from punching to placement is vital…maybe that’s his secret to his success!!! We all know that Dr Bhatti gets results with mega sessions and his happy patients are all over this forum and they can back me on this. I think Dr Bhatti does no more than 4500 grafts a day including BHT (please correct me Dr Bhatti if the figure is wrong) and he achieves the most impressive results for far. When I was at Dr Bhatti clinic back in October 2014 I spoke to a lot of patients and most of them wanted a high density procedure as they want the benefits quickly and say goodbye to hair loss for good or for few years.

  20. The focus should be on RESULTS, not how a doctor takes out the grafts.
  21. Dr Feller if you were never to offer your head for an FUE procedure why do you do it on your unsuspecting patients? Is this not an ethical issue!
