Senior Member Mickey85 Posted September 24, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted September 24, 2013 That means a lot coming from you. You know me buddy, I wouldn't say it if I did not believe it. I'm openly critical of poor results from surgeons and say what I feel, so you are in the clear hehe. I am impressed by the early growth indeed. Regular Member ScienceHair Posted September 29, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted September 29, 2013 Your results so far look great. I see an awesome result down the road for you. I think when it's all grown in, you're really going to appreciate that hairline design. You'll appreciate it even more 20 years from now. If it was me, I'd never add any more to the hairline. Good luck, Nick, I'll be following your journey.

Senior Member OtherSyde Posted October 9, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted October 9, 2013 Wow, nice! Great result for a first-time HT at only 4 months! You will be losing your mind at months 6 and 7, that's when it really starts getting crazy... Suddenly you have all this hair and you actually have to manage it and do something with it! It'll sneak up on you. At month 4 you're only at like, what, 25-30% of final density? The next couple updates from you are gonna be awesome! Senior Member Nick153452 Posted October 23, 2013 Author Senior Member Share Posted October 23, 2013 Wow. That last month just FLEW by. Today I was all, "Wow, I posted an update already a month ago?" Anyways. A little update: I haven't really had a chance to sit down and analyze photos yet, but I don't feel that the density has changed much from my last month's update. I still do have a lag between my left and right side growth which I am not really worrying about too much anymore. I know, and I have known that you have to give the hair its time to grow and I can't be impatient. But as many of you already know, it's hard to do when it's you . Overall I would say that I am very very very very very satisfied with the results for this period of the hair transplant. Of course, I am still expecting a lot more growth and maturation, but as of this point, I can already notice a SIGNIFICANT difference. Even my mom and dad are surprised at how good my hair is starting to look. My mom even thinks that it's necessary to tell everybody that I had a hair transplant. She tries to be all secretive about it, but she fails sometimes. For example, my cousin didn't notice, so my mom was saying things like, Mom-"Doesn't Nick look different? Just look at him, doesn't he look different?" Cousin- "No, he looks the same" Mom-"Doesn't his hair look different??" Cousin- "No" Mom- "He had a hair transplant and he spent $xxxx" Moms, always so happy for their kids. I will give a more detailed update when I take pictures later tonight. (My camera is charging right now). I probably won't have time to upload the photos until tomorrow, however. But we'll see. I just wanted to let you guys know that I didn't forget to update. Senior Member Nick153452 Posted October 24, 2013 Author Senior Member Share Posted October 24, 2013 Soo, I finally got around to taking and posting photos. As you can see, there is still a bit of growth that I'm needing in my frontal area. behind the frontal 1/3 I would say has thickened up quite nicely, and is even very well concealed under the harshest lighting I can throw at it. However, as you can see in the frontal, scalp is still easily visible when combed forward and slicked back. In order to disguise the slower growth on the right site, I have been combing m hair from the left. It does a good job at what I'm intending for it to do, but I would rather that it just grow in. I would love to hear any feedback that you guys have. The good, the bad and the ugly. Overall, I am happy as to the results at this part in my journey. If it continues to thicken up and mature, I would be ecstatic My Hair Loss Website Surgical Treatments: Hair transplant 5-22-2013 with Dr. Paul Shapiro at Shapiro Medical Group Total grafts transplanted: 3222 *536 singles *1651 doubles * 961 triples, *74 quadruples. Senior Member Nick153452 Posted December 6, 2013 Author Senior Member Share Posted December 6, 2013 Sorry guys for the delayed update for those who are keeping track of my progress. I've been extremely busy with work, working two full time jobs and at the same time searching for a job that I actually use my college degree. That said, I'm extremely busy, but haven't forgot about the forum. Progress: There really hasn't been too much of a change since my last photos that I can tell, except what I had has gotten longer. I am still unsure as to the density in the front. It still looks wispy, and thin. I'm hoping that the next few months add to the coverage. Time will tell. I was waiting to post an update with pictures until I went to Shapiro Medical Group, but I don't know if I will be able to do that for a little while sadly. So I will get my own pictures and post them here, or in the results section (since now I can start to say that I have results) as soon as I have time, probably tomorrow night. Senior Member Nick153452 Posted February 20, 2014 Author Senior Member Share Posted February 20, 2014 Guys.. I sincerely apologize for my lack of updates. I have been going through so much in life lately that I haven't really even had a spare moment to even think about accessing this website. That being said, I would like to take a few minutes tonight to share some updated photos. For those of you who saw, I went to SMG in mid December for 6 month update photos. I will attach those pictures that were taken by Matt Zupan for you guys to see. Along with that, I will post 7.5 month update photos that I took myself. In a couple of days, I will be at my 9 month hairnaversary (hopefully I'll update again at that point). Hollllly cow, time does fly when you don't think about hair loss as much. Once again, please let me know what you guys think. For me, I Matt Zupan could do my hair every day for me. He does a great job showing you how to style your new hair, I can just never get it to look like he did.
