Regular Member Octamus Posted April 18, 2012 Regular Member Share Posted April 18, 2012 Hi all, I'm getting very close to choosing a surgeon. I have spent a good amount of time on here reading over the years. Some things are unclear to me so maybe someone can help I would like to get a FUE transplant for approx 1500-1800 in the frontal and temple areas. I was looking at some of the top guys on here, some from the US and others from the EU (I'm based in EU but don't mind travelling to get the best procedure for me) So based on my requirement of FUE - 1500-1800 and the area I want to cover is there a particular Dr that specialists in this area in particular? Thanks a lot...

Senior Member chrisdav Posted April 18, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted April 18, 2012 The most well known, consistent and most experienced doctors in the US are Feller,Lindsey and Shapiro. The others in Europe are good at fue but have techs do a lot of the work,so do your research well.Do you have any pics? 2 poor unsatisfactory hair transplants performed in the UK. Based on vast research and meeting patients, I travelled to see Dr Feller in New York to get repaired.

Senior Member scar5 Posted April 18, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted April 18, 2012 Best FUE at the moment? Based on results I am seeing on youtube, Dr. Jose Lorenzo, InjertocapilarClinic, Madrid. Check him out. Extractions look fantastic, starting to do big numbers too, (5000+FUEs) and looks to be a good long-range planner. Bisanga and other composite clinics may talk you into strip, although with your small number requirements it might not be an issue.
Senior Member Spanker Posted April 18, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted April 18, 2012 If I didn't mind traveling, and was going Fue, I would go to Drs. Rahal or Ron Shapiro. As of late, they have showed the best results IMO. Use the search function and compare the results to the doctors mentioned. I am an online representative for Dr. Raymond Konior who is an elite member of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians. Senior Member HARIRI Posted May 3, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted May 3, 2012 Stay in Europe and no need to travel overseas for FUE. This continent has the greatest FUE surgeons I have ever seen.. I would personally advice three.. 1) Dr. Jose Lorenzo from Spain (Direct contact with patients/ most documented results online in videos even/ He has his own unique FUE technique and tools/ Very honest surgeon without any BS marketing) 2) Dr. Bisanga from Belgium (Consistent FUE results/ Very popular and well known of his FUE work/ Can use Body hair as well with extreme talent/ Popular in many forums with many patients posting his results). 3) Dr. Feriduni from Belgium (Well reputed / recommended in HTN and IAHRS/ a coalition member of HTN/ most affordable/ humble and great bed side manner/ Great customer realtion staff/ Can perform both FUT and FUE/ clean results with no flash photos) Good luck in your choice. 1500-1800 grafts is not that complicated for FUE. Plug removal + Strip scar revision - Dr. Ali Karadeniz (AEK)- May 23, 2015 Plug removal + 250 FUE temple points- Dr. Hakan Doganay (AHD)- July 3, 2013 Scar Tricopigmentation- Dr. Koray Erdogan (ASMED)- May 3, 2013 2500 FUT (Hairline Repair)- Dr. Rahal- July 26, 2011 My Hair Treatments: 1- Alpecin Double Effect Shampoo (Daily) 2- Regaine Solution Minoxidil 5% (2 ml once a day) 3- GNC Ultra NourishHair™ (Once a day) 4- GNC Herbal Plus Standardized Saw Palmetto (Once a day) My Rahal HT thread http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/164456-2500-fut-dr-rahal-hairline-repair.html[/size]
Regular Member snowman Posted May 6, 2012 Regular Member Share Posted May 6, 2012 Feriduni and Bisanga (both who i have consulted with) you can't go wrong. Advise you consult with both and see how you get on. From meeting them I can tell they are both genuine, both advised me to not undertake HT due to my situation. Senior Member s2thoudriver Posted January 7, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted January 7, 2013 I would consider several different surgeons in Turkey. The FUE results (including mine) coming out of the region are really good. Often a lot cheaper than others in the states or EU too. Have look at my thread for an idea on what you can expect. Senior Member Bobilero Posted January 8, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted January 8, 2013 For me personally based on the research i have done i would go with Dr Bisanga for a procedure like this. Its the Sheer amount of consistent documented cases online that swing it for me. They are on other forums though as he dosent pay the fee to become a sponsored Dr here. Guess he dosent have too as he already has so much business/exposure.
