  1. I read some-where Dht levels peak around 9-10am for most guys, so if you take it at night before you go to bed it would be the best timing wise to combat that. With that said its easier for me to take my meds in the morning so thats what I do. You can take propecia w/or w/out food.
  2. Ummm...seems to clean the sebum build up on the scalp well (nizoral and t-gel do better). It is a nice shampoo but is it worth the money I am not sure... I may try Nioxon to hit for the cycle and then make out a week trail (w/spread sheet ??“shot at Jotronic-jk). But again if you can afford it, smells good with out fragrance and features - caffeine, taurine, rooibos tea, apple polyphenol, copper peptides, msm, carnitine tartarte, cysteine, spin traps, biotin, ornitine, pure emu oil, ketoconazole....primary ingredients...holy smoke that is a ton of crap...good crap though....As a whole they say to use it five days.. I think that is too much I would say 3-4days max but that shows it is much much less harsh then tgel or nizoral. My pure emu oil comes in next week and I am going to try to hand mix and lather nizoral 1% with certified emu oil equal parts (something tells me that will be the winner but will see).
  3. If you respond well to the combination of Propecia and Minoxidil then I think you will be happy Dr.A is the best in India for my money hands down. But if you do not respond well you may be left with an island of sorts and have to seek body hair to repair the transition zones from the top to the sides (NW7). Be diligent with your RX I think it will be pivotal in your case. Good growth
  4. I guess I jumped the gun thinking only a .75mm punch was used (I assumed the .75 was the inner circle making this about .9-1.05mm outer). But again with Fue it sucks that we don't have a ton of case studies....many docs do their own thing punch/technique wise and that makes it even harder on us the consumer to make out what the "F" is really going on w/Fue. And B-Spot I know what you mean about the tissue shirking the punch even within 24hrs making comparing even harder, so good point. So Dr.Harris got unnecessary slack but the post op pic didn't look great any way. B-Spot you seem to really like Fue from Dr.Rose any links to some pics? I have an idea of who I like for Fue but I feel like it's a major guess...and that sucks.
  5. IMO...from constant reading on fue I would run from any doc using only on punch size....especially for 2,3,4 hair fu's....run! For fue go with a doc that uses customized size punch for your follicular units your are paying a major premium for Fue procedure so I would advise you look into getting the best work for this ultra expensive procedure. I can't wait to see the 3000-fue same day live session (+-5% transecting rate) at the ishrs or eshrs that is supposedly going to happen soon. In closing I do not have Dr.Harris on my short list for Fue.
  6. Hey B-Spot, How come Dr.Bauman didn't make your list?
  7. First off the guy on the street is not responding to a thread on a public forum, he is probably just walking....as for scar length most people come to forums seeking help and support so it is only natural to have a post like such...hence your example -the guy walking down the street with burns confidently does not carrier over. On to the meat and potatoes....if one wants to optimize styling options and keeping short hair on the sides is pivotal or ultra important cosmetically speaking, then they should look into shorter strips it's really that simple. HT are give and take arrangement you got to get to give it...more grafts you need the more you got to get (longer strip). The key is to find a balance that you are comfortable with personally (like your burn patient example he was comfortable in his own skin so it didn't matter to him).
  8. hey don brasco, I think Dr.Rahal has a very specific approach to post op care, I would recommend speaking with him or his office. While the responses below are valuable the are not specific to your case. Hope that helps.
  9. Blicke sehr gute Herr stromberg...Dr.Rahal tut ausgezeichnet HT's. Gutes Wachstum Bayscholar
  10. Well used revita today...felt great nice lather no sls...did wonders to detangle my hair. With that said will it improve your hair... that I don't think.... it is a very well made shampoo that I know...top notch so far amongst what I have tried since my ht, got 30bucks to blow then its worth the try. 1.revita 2a.nizoral (has sls) 2b.t-gel (has sls) 3.clean and clear (baby shampoo no sls) 4.redken aquafy (has sls) I think if I could find a way to combine nizoral and emu oil in the right balance it would be the best product even though it has sls...thats going to be the next shampoo semi home made nizoral mixed w/emu oil....I noticed revita moisturized my hair more then any other shampoo and it has emu so what the heck...will update again.
  11. just got it(revita) Hbank its has 1% so I was wrong on 2%...sls free and has a bunch of stuff, will know more after i use it (looks really well thought out from ingredients side but how much of that is hype vs results...we will see). 200ml = 33 bucks delivered.
  12. "Here's the deal on Shampoos" Revita has keto 2% in it and alot more ...msm..emu oil...so a try it will get.
  13. As a fellow cowboy fan I will chime in...read "The Bald Truth"-by-spencer korben Joe has a good point...On HLH forum I saw pics of patient of Dr.Hasson who only got 1350grafts and I highly doubt he was more then a 20cm strip(guess-Joe?)..any way his work looks amazing I couldn't tell he even had work done from his pics....What Gorpy was pointing out I think is more what makes its way to the forums larger cases (they do all different size sessions well not just large+) http://www.hairlosshelp.com/forums/messageview.cfm?catid=5&threadid=69440
  14. You Persian?....any how I am..your day 2pics looks very good I commented on your blog...Stay on Propecia and follow your doctors instructions you picked a good one. Bayscholar ---------------------- 4724 Dr.Hasson 7/19/06
  15. I will be trying out Revita shampoo-dslabs- next week its by far the most I have ever spent of shampoo hope its the real deal...will post feedback.
  16. Bspot What's new great point about the differences in perceived densities and real densities....real i.e...Terminal density includes hair counts makes a huge difference for comparison purposes (apples to apples...shoot I sound like Pat). I don't think the issue is as much hair greed as it is reality....60+ in the front looks amazing even if they are all 1's in zone 1. Sucks but in truth "it is what it is"...60-65+ hairline is the magic number if you see it in person you will know. Hbank 40 in the crown I am beyond jealous round 3!!!!....do us proud hit 8k. Bay
  17. Having gone the route you seek, personally I would stay longer. HT1-4,700grafts Dr.Hasson... I left day 3po my swelling was not tooo bad for the flight I wore a bandanna and HW gave me a letter so I had reason to wear the bandanna through security checks. With that said I would wait to get your staples removed from the clinic, the support and peace of mind that provides a mega session patient is invaluable. Some don't think the flight is that big a deal, I on the other hand plan to stay near by for pass2. Being in an airport with heightened anxiety from having just had a procedure combined with the added stress of airports and airtravel in not the best plan of action in my opinion. Taking it easy is good for the grafts/scar/and peace of mind...if you can afford it...do it. my2cents bay
  18. Aquarius, Thanks for the feedback but 2 each his own, I have Dr.Shapiro ranked 2 in my list. But is he the MASTER of hairlines...no I would not go that far, but his in the elite five. Also I have spoken with both clinics Rahal and Shapiro both are extremely ethical period end of story. As for seeing people in person I have from more then a couple clinics, live in regret I will not (that I can assure you). I am planning my second pass when I reach 18months post op ht1, so I have been researching all online hairloss boards (even those I need some translational help) for 3years feeling like I am getting to know the whole picture-IMO.
  19. From my recent extensive searches on Hairlines it would be quite naive not to include Dr.Rahal (he may be the best of the crop with design/density given equal numbers). If you speak with Dr.Rahal he can show you pics of Hairlines not on his site (guys that don't want to be on the net) and I assure you they are =>Armani (who has better pics on his site). Hairline Rank: Rahal Shapiro Armani Hasson Cole Alexander
  20. http://www.immortalhair.homestead.com/files/Entire_Hair_Loss_Book.htm worth a read to say the least
  21. good luck HBank another pass will do wonders...1-1.5 will help frame even more and should look very very nice from the front. I am thinking of HT2 my self, hairgreed is real. cornelius are you going w/dr.wong also?
  22. Part of me likes how useful this example is...But part of me thinks you just want another reason to show off your hair....Both are very impressive. thx Bay
  23. I saw Dr.Hasson cutting new blades before he prepared the recipient sites for my HT.
  24. Threads that start with HELP...WHAT SHOULD I DO?...and you are no where to be found....Often Bspot,Jotronic,flac...but not you..tells us something it does..your signature glows of knowledge vested...help a hair loss sufferer you can...but occupied by your self you are.
  25. I would go and see a dermatologist, also I would see a HT doctor if one lived in my area (honest type that will tell you what going on...Dr.Feller comes to mind in the NYC or Dr.Cooley who is both a derm/HT doc and well respected in both areas). Remember a healthy scalp is crucial to maintaining and growing hair.
