  1. Your donor in 6m pics looks like propecia is helping, thats a huge thing in your case. I like your hairline design , stay patient I am pulling for you...for me month 9 has brought much more thickness to the hairs hopefully you will get to there w/12 full months. Like many others I would suggest a second pass if infact hairgreed has got the best of you. But it does look very natural... hope for you (and it will IMO m6 still really really early) continued improvement. Bay
  2. I can not mention his name or my post will not appear, but a doctor in Atlanta does amazing reversal work (IMO)....the best I have seen on the web... hands down.
  3. very good list of Docs, if you were to speak or meet with all you would put your self in great position to make the best move.
  4. Dude, Your -1 day post op- looks crazy clean.. looks like an amazing hairline in the works. 5K in that area should leave your hair looking out of this world...I think I will have hairline envy in 8months...good growth and healing 40...you should change your handle from pushing 40 to 40-oz now cause your hair could become gangsta.
  5. I don't think a forum can tell you if fue is good or bad for you in particular. It has much more to do with the ability to extract the fu's with minimum transection, and that is based on your physiology/hair characteristics more then a doctors skill(assuming you go to a top fue doc). If I wanted to know if fue was good for me I would personally have a consult with Dr. Feller.
  6. Funny keefe isn't that a type of hash.. any way both docs are good. If you have moderate loss only in the front 1/3 which it sounds like I would go with Dr.Alexander I like his hairlines more. If you have more turf to cover nw5+ I would go with Dr.Sharon Keene personally(IMO). I would at least have a in person consult with both if I lived in reasonable distance to both Docs why not.
  7. good luck taz, I must say you have growth at 3months and you have used zero scalp donor thats kinda cool. I think for those of us looking to only fill the crown with bht in the future it shines some light not tons but some...keep us posted with the pics. thx bay
  8. I have heard very good things about Dr.Wolf, from what I have read he is one of the best at producing small scars(and revising scars). Though I have not seen a ton of pictures, I have read many good reviews about him on hlh forum.
  9. good growth and healing to you jobi
  10. pictures speak louder then words...nice second post hair man. I had 4k+ in one session and I will put my results against yours any day. "Happy patients don't spend their time on the web writing in forums. Why would they" I work IT tard I am online all the time plus helping people is cool (another bald brother like me previously gets a shot at hair).
  11. Just looked at the rest of your before shots....Wow you have really come along way Bushy. I now rank you #4 overall in my book (cases I have seen, who am I to be a judge but if I were you would be Quattro-Power). Congrats I can only hope to have that refined a hairline and mid scalp to crown region as you have after two passes. p.s. I have told you a ton of times, but whats another...your blog rocks!....I still remember the chuckle Dr.Hasson gave me when I asked to be (Bushy-2)
  12. Dr. James thanks for taking the time to address this on HTN forum your follow up procedure at no cost comment is tremendous...kudos to you and Pat this is exactly what the site should be about helping those with hair loss problems find solutions.
  13. hey stumper, I know from my own experience HT1 that months 6-8 brought tremendous manageability to my hair. Also it seems that now my hair blends in old/new much better then during month 5 hands down (I 2 had concerns of that fact) hair quality should improve for you greatly leading up to 1year and then continue till 18months from what I have read...again you picked a world class surgeon give it time and you should be money.
  14. NN Bill/Spot/Dhuge & 40's wife thats a touch too "Thug Life" for me to too consider your HT loan company for HT2.
  15. jbsf Wait 18months before you make another move in regards to HT. That way you can make sure nothing in your physiology has stopping your transplant from being successful, also if you have no improvement from now till 12months then yes I would majorly want to kick Dr.Y in the @ss. Not that this helps too much, but I know of another patient of his that went to get another HT a year after Dr.Y and did not have good things to say about him at all. I may be dead wrong but I have read a few unhappy customers of his on hlh forum. Hang in their bro your post op pics looked Ok you seem to have healed really well in your one week PO pics (question how soon did your grafts all fall out?). Round about way of saying we are pulling for you, wait 12months hopefully you will see a delayed major boom of growth.....if not I don't recommend going back to your doctor for a touch up....go to a proven Doc (shoot compare that many grafts in the hands of Dr.Alexander in Arizona not to far from S.Cali and poof outside of a physiological hiccup you would have much better results IMO). Stay up hair loss brother and good luck.
  16. None for me, though I did pay 1/3 down....and the rest I get charged monthly like another rent....two shelters/roofs I pay-off what fun!! One for me and the other for my former chrome dome. I must say truly I am thankful HW was willing to work with me; otherwise I would have gotten the work done this summer after saving for 18months.
  17. No joke blond girl with dreads.... Caliente!!! Back to my point.... sorry easily distracted you are in good hands with Dr. Hasson.
  18. much as my attempt at sarcastic humor failed, good growth as spring will hopefully bloom those grafts
  19. Thanks for capitalizing NOT.....good growth to you anyway in the next exciting months for you Mson.
  20. no, thats why you always need a side hussle....Joking most HT clinics now offer some kind of financing, otherwise I would be just as bald today - as last year at this time...just ask the clinic be honest and see whats possible...never hurts...thats my story.
  21. Guys by the same stand point as HC is perceived to be > or more accurate then GC.... I would add that hair shaft diameter/hair characteristics would be just as vital if the goal is to end ambiguity & create an across the board comparison scale. The average person has around 2 to 2.4 hairs per graft but what is the average hair shaft diameter?...does that vary by ethnicity/hair color etc.... Also density has great variance along the strip higher in the back and less in the sides, so there is a lot more to do then just add hair counts if we want to know are d*ck from are balls...you feel me? Don't get me wrong, much as I was ecstatic the day I found this site, I will be equally as hyped when metrics for comparison purposes become available in an unregulated field of HT.
  22. Bushy I can't see any areas of need after HT#2 that in my opinion is a total success. I noticed you waited 3-years between procedures?...any reason in particular?... do you think that helped you get more grafts in your second pass?... Personally I think your HT is one of the best I have ever seen period...the only thing holding me from ranking you in my top five transformations all time, is a lack of before pics....you are looking Hella Bushy these days brother congrats!
  23. As a patient of this clinic I am happy the work received knowing that cheaper options exist... is up to the client to discern between overpriced and just right. While I don't think specific numbers or hair counts is a bad thing to disclose, I don't take an issue with what H&W do record keeping wise... Focus on Surgery more then making spread sheets...I am ok with that... their results are proof of great work being done in Vancouver period. I am one who believes this debate will continue to go on, right or wrong....priced fairly vs over priced......As the consumer make an educated decision, if you desire info on hair counts go some where that provides that information...it is that simple I knew that going in...I just don't agree with insulating them by saying that they are knowingly structured to over charge people and mask that factor via hair max theories...that I don't agree with. None the less very interesting thread as always gentleman. added later...I don't think any one was really insulting anyone...so I take that back...just questioning.
  24. I personally have Dr.R ranked #2 in my book right now and he may be climbing....N23 good to see you back on the forum (bashing shane as usual)....can you sense a thread involves armani in some way and poof you appear...lol
