  1. Hello, I've been on and off Propecia for some time. Currently, I live in the Boston area. Long story short, I had been going to the same place for some time for my prescription, but it's completely out of the way. I also have gotten rid of my car, so getting there is impossible unless I elicit the help of a friend. My question is: How do I go about finding a doctor who is more accessible that will prescribe Propecia?
  2. Can anyone clarify what exactly this means: "Curis also has the option to co-develop the drug from IND filing through Phases I and II."
  3. Any clue on how long it takes to even get back to normal? I mean I shed a LOT.
  4. I've been on and off propecia for the past few years. It's been a little bit since I've taken it, but started back up again a couple of months ago. All of a sudden, over the past week, it seems like all my hair is just pouring off. It seems much, much thinner than it usually is. Anyone have any ideas, or is my hair just deciding to call it quits all of a sudden?

  6. Could someone explain to me why FUE would NOT be a good choice? I have heard that it really does not leave any scarring, is this true? I guess I'm just curious about the details of it because I don't really know, and if I had I choice I would rather do FUE and go without a scar. Thanks!
  7. Does copper peptide actually do anything for hair regrowth/thickening? I just recently read a couple of things about it, but I don't know what it's all about.
  8. I'm not sure I understand... why is this company name and/or information so hush-hush? I'm not trying to be difficult, it just seems like this is being treated like area 51. I'm sure if the woman knew her job was on the line, she wouldn't be running her mouth about some secret drug? Or wouldn't be blabbing if it were some kind of danger to do so?
  9. B Spot, Yes, that helps, thank you for your help! I'm just curious. I mean is there EVER a point at which it's like "ok, im definatly DONE with needing another HT" (besides running out of money or donar hair haha) I'm also really not so hip on the idea of having a scar, and wondering how much worse/better the scarring is (or even how much worse/better final results are) for FUE. I've been doing a ton of research for years, still grasping on to the hope for some kind of miracle cure, but in the meantime, i think that my plan goes like thus: Work out, get into really good shape. Do things to look better that I have control over. If, after doing what I can, I'm still unhappy, I will opt for a HT. But the years tick by and im not getting any younger, and it's a hard thing for me to put off. Some days im ok, and some days I wish It would just all fall out and be done with it. Again, thanks for everyones help!
  10. Would I definatly need a second HT if i decided to get one? I'd just like to lower the hairline a little and fill in where it's gotten really thing/gone
  11. I'm 26, been losing my hair since about 20. Sometimes i'm ok with it, but i have a huge head and face and it just looks so akward sometimes
  12. Oops sorry, new to this. So here are some pics of my hairloss, and i was wondering if someone could give me an idea of what i might be able to get done/how many grafts? my donor hair is SUPER SUPER thick, so I don't know if that makes any difference. Also ive been on and off propecia for the past 4 years or so. Still had some hairloss because of missing a month or so of meds here and there. Currently my doctor wont give me another prescription until i see him again, which is a MONTH away and ive already been out for 2 weeks any help would be appreciated. thanks!

  14. So I'm 26 years old. Ive been contemplating getting a transplant for a long time now, and I was wondering if there is someone in the massachusetts area that anyone could reccomend. I really don't have any qualms going out of state, money really wouldnt be an object, and (obviously) I would like to find the best possible surgeon I can, but was also wondering if there is anyone in-state. Could anyone help me out with this? Thanks in advance!
