  1. hey Wanthairs, If you are referring to Dr.Jeffrey Epstein of Miami...he is one of the best cosmetic surgeons in the USA....so rest easy you will not look like you are from mars. Pain, Honestly for me up till day 8 life sucked big time, by day 14 the staples were out and I felt like a million bucks...still looked like an ass clown (but that soon changed). If I could go back I would sleep in a lazy boy 75/90degree angle to help get back to normal faster.
  2. Ok I am going to seem like the girl of the group but here goes my breakdown (I use/own all products listed below and rank in order that I like - note surface DHT reduction while important, does not out weight the importance of hair that looks and feels healthy) 1. Redken Aquafy Shampoo...Gangsta for those with dry hair 2. Nizoral 1% (2% is very harsh and both dry hair out alot use now 1 time every two weeks) 3. Clean and Clear Shampoo (H&W give you this shampoo for post op washing only under the Canadian name for the product. 4. RedKen Density Shampoo 5. Head and Shoulders w/2%-zinc 6. Tea Tree Shampoo Paul Mitchell 7. Neutrogena T-Gel 8. Jason's thin to thick 9. Jason's natural shampoo w/biotin Worth a laugh, a year ago I was rocking the shaved head look and had one body wash for the whole body head to toe...wonder what the F? My roommate thinks with all these voodoo potions I got cooking...good thing for the sake of my masculinity I did not include my list of Conditioners...lol
  3. Funny post YG, yes months 3-6 suck big time compared to 7-9..but dominate months 0-2......For me (it was F-ing hard to do this but well worth it) I stopped looking in the mirror of any bathroom w/lights on.....seriously otherwise I would go insane (3-7months)...I still don't look in the mirror tooo much cause I got hair greed and seem to be a gluten in general and more is better then less. The less you look the more will change between views.
  4. congrats Folica, I like your hairline design looks nice and dense(do your know what your zone 1 denisty is...looks very good). I really like the post op pics I have seen from Dr.Alexander. good growth and enjoy having a hairline again...well (in 8months or so...be patient its worth it).
  5. Dr.Hasson did tell me he let Jotronic cut a couple laterals cause I keept mentioning how great the tronic was. joking
  6. PGP- thats simultaneously the funniest and meanest thing I have read. S4L, if your scar is that bothersome which it clearly appears to be (feel your pain that sucks) and you plan to wear your hair cut to a grade-1...I would suggest looking into bht or fue into your scar to help camouflage....go with baby steps 100 bht view the progress you never now the answer may be out there and you seem to have enough time to find it. I would say to look into Dr.Bradley Wolf in Cincinnati. my-2c
  7. spot on NNelly very much a "dent or depression" as you can see on one of the side shots....fully agree that even some of the hair around the scar have a mind of their own as well very very kinky-some stick straight out. On one side my scar is very small (1-2mm) on the other side that you see the depression it is wider (3-5mm). I will try to take some pictures again outside so you can see the results more accurately. I think my work bathroom makes it look more dense, if me and you are under the sun and I lower my head you can see the wall of hair the Dr.Hasson made helps block ones ability to think I have hairloss except for the crown. Again thanks for all the kind words guy(good growth to all hairloss brothers in the struggle), one thing to note...I have been trying hair grooming products like a mad man (go figure/how much life has changed..hair grooming?), and I found the only product that I can use that make my HT hair super easy to style and not kinky at all.. REDKEN - Get Groomed , ultra light finishing cream (not used in my pics but worth a try trust me)
  8. thx for the kind words guys...I am trying to redo my blog but with work and everything (it never seems to get done). Bill I have seen great impovement w/regards to hair quality since month6. Mson, dude 4th grade dominated 2nd or 3rd, but the girls only get cute by 7th Bay Info: july 19th-06 HT w/Dr.Hasson (H&W) 4724 grafts 30cm strip 2-2.5cm hair count aprx=9000
  9. Congrats LL, Love your swirl...need one myself. Both you and Bill are in the 7K+ league..wow hair envy/greed never gets old.
  10. Abdi &S4L Manam mese showma meefamam. Sesall mumo shave meecardam badaz ht bethdarshode zendegeme. merci, bay Story: Two years ago my sister wanted to hook me up w/one of here friends, she asked me 2 take a pic and email her. I did and it was after a clean shave and my sister remarked that she could not show that cancer pic (tuff love from my sis, but the crome dome was not for me...I guess if I was stronger I would careless what others think about my looks (but it was more about me liking what I was seeing in the mirror and I didn't). So long story short.. if you can shave your head get buff and tan (and pull chicks and be happy...screw the HT....instead screw chicks)....I just came to the realization that after a few years with a shaved head (23-26) that I did not want to go through life looking that way (feeling depressed and dating portly ones if you get my drift) ...so if I could roll the dice for a chance at hair I would... and did (got lucky, but I do take meds and use the foam). At this point if you plan to give yourself the ability to go back to the shaved look + skip the scar like S4L suggest wait and observe the next generation of FUE work being done. cheers bay
  11. Well I am finally getting to that stage when your hair becomes easier to sytle (not that the style I have in these pics is great, but it shows how far i have come...Thanks Dr.Hasson)
  12. Well I am finally getting to that stage when your hair becomes easier to sytle (not that the style I have in these pics is great, but it shows how far i have come...Thanks Dr.Hasson)
  13. Hey Bill I am taking some aprx-10month pics to post today, I will try to take the pic next to my dad and sneak a pic of his work
  14. Hey GP I am a patient of Dr.Hasson and his work has helped changed my life for the better. I too spent many night wondering who to choose (good problem to have if its down to Wong vs. Hasson)...Originally I was dead set for Master-Wong to save me like did the likes of Jotronic...but after checking the blogs of Dr.Hasson patients I soon realized his skill and graft placement style was sutied for me (he is more front to back vs dr.wong is more back to front-IMO)....I went for an inperson consult two months before my procedure and I was sold on Dr.Hasson. Last thing if you like to comb your hair back to front I would go with Dr.Wong(who also tends to do a shorter strip you can have more styling options), if you go front to back I would go with Dr.Hasson-his work is amazing. And yes you do need to choose before your consult. peace bay
  15. I did check and Shapiro is clean
  16. Hey Abdi, Just say your post, my dad had a procedure with Dr. Tom Rosanelli his is a very good person and surgeon honest and real. I however went to Dr. Victor Hasson all the way in Vancouver. Both are ethical and dedicated, however if you ask my mother she would say go to Vancouver! good luck and if you choose Dr.R... assuming you have realistic expectations..you will be in good hands. Bay
  17. hopefully Jotronic can lend some info on this...he blew me away when I called H&W and asked him about Juvista. Seriously the tronic is a beast of info, I just hope he is not feed up with my bi-weekly call for ummmm 10months.
  18. LOL Bill that is about the funniest yet most true response I have ever read...I guess we do forget with how important our hair is to us, just how important that brain thing underneath is!
  19. I agree w/Middleson, as someone considering Dr.E(short list of 4 docs)for my 2HT...I too thought lets make the list 3 instead; great to know that it was a different Dr.E.
  20. Hey tsilk, Swelling gets worse in most from days 2-6 by day 7 most all the fluid trapped in your head should pass, some have swelling for two weeks in extreme cases. What helped me most was sleeping in a lazy boy chair (45degree angle to help the fluid pass through even faster)....long story short totally normal what you are going through. Good luck Bay
  21. Looks good glock, slow and steady is winning you the race, thats awesome.
  22. Very very nice results for the #-grafts. It does look like you have a narrow head, which helps big time IMO. Congrats another great result from Dr.Shapiro. link to his blog: http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=107 1 session - 3100 grafts - Dr. Shapiro - Aug 1, 2006 - Age 38
  23. I agree with Huge, but I am not as buff so I can't call you out as much. While I agree.. don't go heavy like Dhuge, just heavy respective to your strength level. I am a firm believer that machines are crap compared to free weights when done right, just find a weight level that you can maintain proper form with.
