  1. I was just thinking of using the 'warm' setting and holding the hair dryer at a distance but I'll go ahead and wait a few more days just to be on the safe side. The concern for avoiding heat relates to another question I have regarding using post-op laser but I guess that the laser (clinic level, not comb) doesn't produce very much heat? That said, should I also be avoiding the few post-op laser sessions that came with my HT? I've read some positive posts regarding it's use for healing but I don't want to jeopardize my grafts.
  2. I'm now on my 5th day post-op (2228 FUs) and am wondering if it's OK to lightly blow-dry on and around my HT area. So far I have just been letting my head air dry after washing but this leaves my original hair laying fairly flat (i.e., no body). (Thanks in advance)

  4. Hi all. I am 2 days post-op (2238 FUEs) and have been offered a few laser sessions for free (about every other day until the sutures come out in 10 days from now) to assist in my healing. I have read many threads on this forum which make me very much question laser's effectiveness in re-growing hair. But by the same token it seems that using laser as a healing mechanism might be somewhat valid. Since the laser sessions have been offered as part of my HT package my only questions is, would there be a chance that the laser sessions might in some way potentially hinder the success of my HT procedure. In other words, could it do some damage or somehow limit the success of my HT?

  6. OK, I'm getting ready to make a visit up to the Vancouver area for a consultation with H&W. This forum has been extremely valuable in educating me on what to look for in a surgeon. Above and beyondd the threads referencing the work of both H&W, I 've tried to read up on both of them. OK, that said, I am still having difficulty deciding whether to ask for DR Wong or Dr Hasson. I'm assuming, of course, that I would even have the choice of which Dr to have my consultation with. So my question is, have people found any significant differences between these two renound physicians in terms of speciality, availability, patient care, etc. I'm I'd be fine going with either but I thought I might just see if anyone has found any significant differences or highlights. Thnaks in advance...
  7. Has anyone had an experience with the Ross Cosmetic Medical Group in San Diego, CA? I'm considering going for an evaluation and just wanted to see if anyone here has any experience with Dr Ross or his team. Thanks
