  3. Hi all, This post is originally from the hairlosshelp forum but I ant to inform you as well. I want to provide you with the details of my hair transplant with Dr Rahal as I took many advices out of the posts here and now want to give something back. I never really tended to another Dr but Dr Rahal. His work is great and the prices are fair so what did I want more? I was also very sure not to take the distance into account and I would advice no one to do so. The HT was arranged very short term. There were no openngs until August but a patient cancelled his opening and I booked flights 5 days in advance. It was still very cheap; only 730 Euros from Germany and back. Dr Rahal is a great person and his staff is also very nice, helpful and they have a lot of experience in what they do. Although everything was so short-term I never really had a bad feeling as I was supported pretty good by the staff (hotel etc.) and received quick answers to my questions. Dr Rahal called me every day in the hotel and asked how I feel and that I could call him at any time. He is so helpful that it is almost embarassing and I had to issue him the command to take a day off on sunday ;-) Dr Rahal defined my donor laxity and density as pretty good and we decided to harvest at least 4000 grafts and finaly Dr Rahal achieved 4518. The hairline density was planned for 70 grafts/cm?‚?? and then lower to the back. The procedure took about 10 hours and was sometimes painful (injections) but not bad at all. I had the worst time the first 3 hours after the freezing disappeared - no fun I tell you! The night was OK, it's just a matter of finding sleep in a 45 degree angle and with a fresh scar you are laying on. Swelling appeared on day 2 and now on day 3 is pretty heavyly surrounding my eyes but this should be OK in 2 days. I have hardly any pain in the transplant and scar area and everything seems to go well. So far, please share your opinion with me. You can see all fotos from my webside. Would be happy to answer any questions arising. Greetings, Stromberg
