  1. That's one showcase results to show at Dr. Feller's office to patients!
  2. I first thought I would do strip (now doing fue) and did an hour of so of stretching exercises for 2 months. Now I have to live with a really loose scalp, haha! I'll probably have to do strip eventually (hopefully after 40). Anyways SMG is who I want for FUE so I'm happy everyone is always 100% satisfied going to SMG!
  3. I too am 26, been on Finasteride for almost a year and am a NW2. I'd like to see a few better pictures of your hairline/temples! I am looking to get FUE done in 2010 by Dr. Shapiro. This may be a good option for you if we have similar hair characteristics.
  4. This patients photo album should be on the front page of True & Dorin's website!
  5. I had an in person consultation with Dr. Charles last year. He is a very friendly guy and even gave me his personal number. He even let me witness a guys procedure in the next room over when the guy was on his lunch break. I saw the incisions up close, the grafts (before they were implanted) and the donor site (wrapped). The patient wasn't that drugged and was very talkative.
  6. I watched the Rachel Ray show and was interested to learn more about it. Some other interesting procedures on there as well. http://www.rachaelrayshow.com/?day=2009-09-25 Any surgeons performing it in South Florida? I'm in Lauderdale. What's the cost per graft? Although my mind is pretty much made up for FUE with Dr. Shapiro in 2010, I'd like to see if this lives up to it's hype! Maybe we could see one of those "work shops" with some coalition surgeons and a neo graft surgeon?
  7. Don't look at me.. I was the second poster but kept it on subject.
  8. $600-$800 is much cheaper than I was quote from 3 different surgeons in South Florida. I was quoted $1,000. 20-40% less. Although none of the surgeons could produce pictures. Why would I down lots of money if there aren't pictures of proof?
  9. I would love to see a Shapiro Medical YouTube Channel! Or is there one already?
  10. Dr. Konior is my personal choice after viewing plenty of photos from Keller, Panine and Konior. I actually put Dr. Konior in my top 5 in the world! I too had to wait a few months to have a consultation. Try e-mailing him photos. His response was lightning quick and very detailed when I sent him photos.
  11. I found the video. Hopefully this is it what the NeoGraft is; http://www.rachaelrayshow.com/?day=2009-09-25
  12. I think this is the device (like a vacuum fue extractor) on the Rachel Ray show last week. I was wondering what it was. An Asian American surgeon in New York was presenting it, as including a few other very new treatments for the body. Each of them looked impressive. The other two treatments were to reduce wrinkles in the face and to reduce fat. I'll look for the video. It was the show from Last Thursday morning.
  13. I am currently on vacation and left my Finasteride at home. The last time I took it was Tuesday morning. I won't be able to take it until Sunday afternoon. Is this ok? Thanks!
  14. Excellent write up! I'd love to see pictures! I'm going for fue in my temples and hairline early next year hopefully. Looking at either Dr. Feller or either Dr. Shapiro brothers. I'm also happy to hear about your easy post op recovery! It seems that fue is a much easier recovery than strip.
  15. Malborn, I smell a shill... Or someone that won't listen to people. I might not be a surgeon or expert on transplants, but I do have common sense. Chanyouzhe, I'm very sorry to what happened to you. I would pusue sueing and possibly send a Private message to other's on here that had a bad result from him. He is the only surgeon that we see horrible results from that might be unfixable. He is a butcher and I think he is proud of it. He should be locked up in a Dubai jail! He reminds me from the movie "The Dentist," where the dentist who got his kicks out of butchering people. Thank g-d I didn't go to Dr. Armani when I was 23 after he replied I'd be an excellent candidate for 3 times the amount of grafts other surgeons told me I needed. I'm almost 27 now and have not seen a good Armani result still!!!
  16. You had like 10 people all say Armani isn't worth going to. Bill and Pat that run this website don't recommend Armani. I've spoken with surgeons (some of who I had consultations with) who said Dr. Armani is highly unethical. Why ask more questions??? I'd highly recommend Dr. Ron Shapiro, Dr. Paul Shapiro or Dr. Feller. They to me produce the best fue results.
  17. How bout if they put spf 70 or higher for a small hairline/temples session?
  18. WOW!!! AMAZING!!! What is the largest amount of grafts taken in one session by Dr. Hasson and Dr. Wong?? 7,800 is the most I've read so far. Also how many grafts would you say survived? I read so much about the larger the strip the less yield. I just don't see the issue with H/W!
  19. I've had 4 in person consultations and each said 40 FU/sqcm would do just fine for my hairline and temples. But they also said a second procedure touch up might be needed. I have course dark brown hair and a Florida tan. One of the surgeons who told me this was Dr. Ron Shapiro on his vacation in Miami. I'll most likely go to him or his brother in the end since they are the kings of hairlines.
  20. The worst part about this arguement is that "Brandnew" is a first time poster that only has interest in this thread! We have all been on this forum for years and are legit posters. I'd see if Bill can help us since he has the power to find out what "Brandnew's" intentions really are. The last post you made makes me think that you are trying to cover your guilt. All these beginner questions when you wrote like you knew everything...
  21. Maybe it's best for him not to post more pictures. He seems happy with his results and our criticism might alter his mind or mentally sadden him. Just a thought... But more pictures would help out others interested in them...
