  1. I remember a while back I sent Dr. Armani an e-mail to see how many grafts he recommended. He said around 3,500 grafts via fue. This was when other surgeons were telling me 1,500 via strip. The other surgeons didn't suggest lowering my hairline either. I think I was 24 at the time when I e-mailed him.
  2. Do you work with Dr. Armani or had a transplant from him?? This is your first post and a biased one to say the least.
  3. How can H/W be so darn good and flawless, while there are so many other surgeons that are butchering people out there??? I'd pay to fly there because going to them (in my mind) would be a guarenteed excellent result!
  4. Try calling his office and tell him the picture is in the e-mail.
  5. Yeah that's what I was thinking... It's unlike me who has miniturization so I'd probably be better off shaving.
  6. I'm wondering if Dr. Shapiro prefers the patient shaves down in these hairline procedures or can go with that hair length? Looks great by the way!
  7. You are just at the start of growth. Within the next 8 months you should see your final result and it will be much thicker!
  8. You can share the Valium Dr. Feller might give you.
  9. After month 3 it will keep getting better! Time will fly now when you start seeing you new and permanent hairs coming in! I remember my ex girlfriend laughed at me when we were in the shower (the first time) and said "Your going bald." She wasn't a 5 year old kid either.
  10. He was one of the surgeons I contacted. Are you going to try it with Protein Matrix?
  11. I've only seen excellent results posted by SMG on here! I met with Dr. Ron Shapiro on his vacation and he is as friendly as they come! I'm happy that you went to them for a second chance! It will work out!
  12. I'm debating on going to Dr. Greco as well. He is a short flight away from me compared to some local and respected H/T surgeons. But he seems to be most experienced with it since he has been performing it the longest. Can elaborate your experience with him and the procedure? Thanks Also curious how many grafts in total did you get after 4 transplants?
  13. I know these doctors frequent on here. I don't know why they don't have patients commenting on their PRP treatmets. I'm happy you are! I'm looking to have it done within 3 months. I'd be more than happy to post as detailed a thread with before/after photos for the forum. Bill and all have such a great site. If it wasn't for this site I'm almost certain I'd have rushed into surgery in my lower 20's at a Bosley clinic. One of the surgeons told me he give the patients an option for PRP and PRP with Protein Matrix. The Protein Matrix one costs $200 more and he recommends it more. He didn't however give me the differences that thurly. What do you have done and were both an option?
  14. Wow! You should fill out an application at Dr. Epstein's clinic! He would hire you in a second, haha!
  15. I recently contacted 3 surgeons in Florida (2 I visited for a consultation 6 months ago) and all three have been performing PRP for a year now. Even if it's in it's experimental stage it seems like a lot of surgeons are performing it. Is that good or bad???
  16. H/W seem to be the best! I'm sure you will be very happy! Were you advised to shave your head? Also is the scar up real high or is it the angle of the camera? One more question please.. It looks like all the hairs in your hairline were shaved down and grafted in. Is this correct? If so I assume they were weak hairs? Thanks
  17. If I like what I see when he posts pictures you can sign me up!
  18. That is one excellent transformation. Looks at you before results and now you have full coverage that looks 100% natural! One more session (if you choose and have the donor) and you will be gold!
  19. I was impressed before I read all the comments! For 4 months you must be thrilled! Regarding density, maybe the surgeon played your age and hair loss into factor, thus is why he did 1,800 grafts. But if you feel that you want more density just wait a year and see how it plays out. Or even wait a few years and see if your hair is receding behind the transplanted hairs.
  20. I just had a Hair Transplant dream. It's not the first time I've had one. I'm only on this forum 5-10 minutes a day max, but I guess I'm thinking about it often, haha! Have any of you had H/T dreams?
  21. I think the look is excellent! Question (on topic); Can bleaching damage transplanted hairs?
