  1. It would be nice to know more about the procedure such as how many grafts and before and after pics. Dr. Laorwong seems to stand behind his work so it would be best to reach out to him and discuss the situation.
  2. Looks really good for 4 months! Can't wait to see the final outcome. I'm really hoping to be able to ditch the hat in a month or so.
  3. That looks really good! Many more months to go to get even thicker.
  4. I hit the 3 month mark today. I've been seeing some slow growth coming in the front. I can feel quite a bit on the crown but the pictures don't show too much improvement yet. I'm assuming this will be slower with less blood flow in the area. It does seem to be filling in though. A few sprinkles of hair fibers and it fills in nicely..:) Donor - I have grown my hair out and this covers some of the weak areas in the donor. There are definitely still patchy areas, which are more pronounced on the left side. At this point I doubt if anyone could tell though. I will get a hair cut in about two weeks so will have a better idea of what I am working with there. I can't feel any growth here like the transplanted areas. It does seem like shockloss takes longer than the donor hairs to grow back. Numbness - My head is still very numb. Seems like I might be taking a little longer than most for my nerves to recover. Looking forward to getting some feeling back. Overall I am very pleased with the progress in comparison to one month ago. And in comparison to pre-op it looks a lot better. Attached is a pre-op pick of my left side. I didn't have any hair quite far back from the hair line. I'm looking forward to the next month.
  5. That is some outstanding progress! You still have a lot more time for growth. Can't wait to see where you get. You already can't tell you had an HT. Thanks for the update.
  6. He's probably also on TRT which could contribute to continued hair loss.
  7. It is interesting how widely the recommendations vary. When I look at that I think it probably doesn't matter if you wear a bandana or not. My Dr. gave me one but only said I needed to wear it when in the sun. It wasn't about protecting the grafts.
  8. Looks like you are right on track. Will get worse before getting better so just hang in there.
  9. Wow, your hair looks really dense. You must be thrilled. And with many more months to thicken it can only get better. Life changing! Congrats!
  10. Everything is filling in nicely! Seems like you have enough density to easily grow your hair out. Many more months of growing left too!
  11. The extraction may be a little high but a lot of the donor loss is in the safe area. At this stage I would assume this is all shockloss. You will have to be very patient here. It could be 4-6 months before you start to see this recover. I have quite a bit of shock loss too. My Dr did not go outside the safe area so there is always a chance this will happen. I have reviewed dozens of threads with people having shockloss and it almost always comes back. It does seem to take longer than it does for the transplanted hair to grow so the key is patience. I'm getting near 3 months and have growth starting in the transplant but donor is still lagging. When you get a into these ugly duckling months Toppik can help cover those spots when going out. Good luck!
  12. His hairline design does look unnatural but there are a lot of things about Jujimufu that don't look natural. Maybe it will fit him in the end.
  13. I used shaving cream. It is really foamy so works well to remove scabs.
  14. Sounds completely normal. Not sure what procedure you had but FUE they are making thousands of holes in your head. It is bound to be uncomfortable while healing. You might be having a little shockloss. This is common and should start to come back in the 3-4 month timeframe.
  15. That looks great! I notice a little more grey in the donor area post transplant. Obviously this could be just general aging but I was curious if there is some pattern with grey hair and transplants. I have a lot more grey in my hair now than I did 3 months ago before the hair transplant. I was thinking maybe the grey was less susceptible to shockloss or the trauma creates some hair to turn grey. I don't mind the grey but was just curious if others have noticed this.
  16. Looks great! Just being able to take a beanie off and hand comb and look good is a dream.
  17. That's the one I ordered. Excited to try it.
  18. I just ordered some. I get sides from oral so am hoping this works. I’ll post my experience once I have some time on it.
  19. Looks great for 2 months. Donor looks back to normal and quite a bit of growth. Happy growing!
  20. Sounds like you are doing the right thing. Hope the medication keeps the loss for a long time.
  21. Very good result here. Love the progression pics. The pictures taken in relatively the same angle and lighting help to demonstrate the long progression. The results really do take a full year to mature.
  22. Looking good! You seem to be an early grower.
