  1. Thx for your reply spex, I have quite fine hair, what grade do you think I can comfortably shave to at the back without the red line showing up? It has already faded to a more pink colour...
  2. I was a bit worried about this post op also, so I waited two weeks then used it once a week, no problems, or slowing of growth.
  3. Hey acrobaz, I still get the occasionally scab on the donor area that comes from no where, and a slight 'ooziness'as you say, guess it's normal. Wonder what month the scar goes white, month 5?
  4. In my case, i'm 10 weeks post op and had full feeling in the back of my head by 8 weeks, and only have a bit of numbness in my recipient area at 10 weeks, but it differs between people. It is possible to have some permanent numbness in the head from surgery, but I've only seen this is old cases, or where posters went to a poorly skilled doctor. As long as you do your research and don't just go to any Tom, Dick or Harry, you'll be fine.
  5. I've read a lot of the top docs don't normally go under 60cm2
  6. Is Dr Cooley the only Doc currently using this in the coalition? Sounds like an interesting development and adds weight to the argument of inflammation playing a key part of MPB imo.
  7. Lookin good tubs, even got regrowth on your crown, shows propecia is doing it's work as it didn't look like you had any grafts there.
  8. Hi Dazed, I currently use folligen and hair signals, which I mix 5 drops with my minox. Tricomin and graftcyte are the only copper peptides with scientific data backing them up, the peptide they use is different in folligen and hair signals as the patent is owned by a different company, despite being found by Dr Pickert, who owns skinbiology.com. That said, the folligen and hair signals have many more peptides in than graftcyte/tricomin, only they have not been scientifically tested, probably because of cost, as Dr Pickert was working for a company when tricomin/graftcyte was tested. I've found testimonials on-line of people using folligen post op and reporting positive experiences with it, so i'm sure it's just as good as graftcyte, or possibly better....hair signals is really quite new, so not found many customer experiences with that product as yet.
  9. Right on Phoenix. This company sounds like a right gang of thieves, no way can get they get away with STEALING 4k off you. Crooks
  10. Not sure which is best out of the two, but you're best buying it on the internet.
  11. There is no proper science backing up the lasercomb, i've read the study that was done on it, and there's a reason they don't refer back to it. Poor results. IMO - You are better off with copper peptides. There are two of these products that I recommend, and that have scientific research backing them up with improved results. Graftcyte, or a cheaper option is Tricomin. To find out more about the healing properties of copper peptides see www.skinbiology.com.
  12. Good luck Hairdoyle, and try not to worry, you're in great hands. Check spex's h/t tips numerous times. Helped me, and it's good to have a laptop or some internet connection if you're staying over for 4+ days. Gets lonely otherwise
  13. Thanks Bill/M.T.D I have had one recently in my recipient, felt kinda bruised on my head. Had quite a few on my donor area though, scratched it and felt something running, I was sure it would be blood, but no, clear liquid, otherwise puss. Happy growing and healing guys
  14. Always good to see innovation, and any tool that can enhance the FUE procedure and possibly improve yield, even in less experienced hands, is good for everyone. Looks like a strange alien pen. Sexy
  15. Oh I don't smoke straight cigs, I like mine with some special ingredient in. Make you fly
  16. All looks good acrobaz. I have had shock loss, but I can now see quite a lot of little fine hairs poking through my scalp at 9 weeks now, which has cheered me up no end. You may get regrowth earlier than you think
  17. I started smoking about 4 days post op, don't think it's had much effect. i'm 9 weeks post op and I see new hairs popping up. Ideally it's best not to, but realistically I think you'll be fine
  18. You could buy folligen or tricomin, which has similar copper peptides in as graftcyte.
  19. Amen brotha. Hair getting better by the month as expected. Thanks for your blog as well, I must of looked through and read it about 7 times so far. You have more growth, thickening and softening of the hair to come yet!
  20. I figure that pimples become apparent around the 2-3 month period, but what is the deal with pimples, does everyone get them? I'm two months in to a H/T and have not noticed many pimples or spots, maybe two? I just left them alone and didn't do anything, but I don't know if it was a pimple or a spot, or if they are the same thing or not, and if my lack of them is a good thing, a bad thing, or of no real importance?

  22. I noticed that, he's definitely had work done. On another note actor Rupert Everett has had a H/T done, I'm sure that's H+W work, Joe? say no if you mean yes...
  23. THe top docs all plan for future loss, so that if your hair loss gets worse the transplant will stand on its own and still look natural
