  1. Yes it does not seem like magnification is a expensive thing either, you could buy some decent glasses for 100$, not sure why not all the budget clinics use it, it would make them more equal in quality.
  2. I did choose FUE Sapphire package, which is the basic package, not DHI.
  3. This looks very good, and it will only get better! I am very happy for you!
  4. I would think Dr Yaman could be a option if you are clear about that you do not want to do temple work. It is some pending cases here which is about 3-5 months in so we will see these results soon. I am thinking about a touch up to add a little bit of density and add some singles into the upper temples. I have been in contact, only with some 3+ euro per graft Drs, but I need to wait until the 12 month mark to see how I feel about it when I removed some more in the temples and when all the hair have matured a little bit more.
  5. You could say so yes, not sure if I would say for no reason. I would not think that a hair transplant should be done and you need to pay 1000 euros for 10 electrolysis sessions killing some 300-350 multiple grafts completely wrongly placed. It is not optimal, but it is a way to fix it atleast. A overharvested donor would be worse. But you should not expect much for a clinic charging 2350 euros, you should compare it to other hair mills, not to Dr Demirsoy or FueCapilar. Ontop of this I have a bald spot, which we will see if it grows in, you can see it if you look at photos back. The good thing is that I push my hair to this side so it will hide it.
  6. You can not expect magnification for the price I paid, I would think. The crazy thing is that the woman who is removing the hair with electrolysis laser in the temples is even using magnification and she have a decent kit which let her choose between 1.5x-4x, that costs 100$ she said, so its not really about cost either it seems. I think the cheapest option for magnification would be Dr Demirsoy or FueCapilar.
  7. Not really, just that he said he would repair it for free with manual punch. I feel like its too much negativity from me in this thread lately though, just to be clear with everyone, the yield is pretty good in the hairline, I have thin hair and my appearance is night and day. What is relieving is that the temples is going to get fixed, with some more laser sessions they will infact look pretty good and I might even feel that it is enough for me at this time. I felt very sad at the beginning when I saw what happened and when I did not know about electrolysis and how easy it really is to remove hair with precision. Here you can see, before vs 6 months 1 week a little bit styled to the side as I like to wear it, not with any wax just pushed to the side. The photo is taken at home in the same place with the same light.
  8. I did not see any loupes on the guys implanting, I think the guy extracting had loupes. If you checkout their Instagram it looks like they are infact not using loupes at all since on every photo they just have a mouth guard and nothing else.
  9. This is just pure speculation, but I find it hard to believe it is in any other way when I look at certain spots, I feel they just place the grafts wherever a incision has been made. The reason I believe this is because in the middle part of the hairline, there are say maybe 50-100 singles, only singles in the exact same spot of approx 2-3cm, which makes it extremely low density in that area and then in the temples and hairline where those singles is supposed to be, all double and multiple grafts have been placed. It just doesnt make sense. I have in one corner aswell, about 6 multigrafts sitting closely together, also this does not make sense at all.
  10. You should chill aswell, you are on a forum with people trying to help, but keep insulting people over and over when we try to help you out. It is likely a temporary shed, I have no experience personally from Clomid or any Testosterone therapy, but from what I have been reading it messes with Estrogen levels aswell.
  11. Honestly, Clomid is a shit drug to up testosterone to begin with. I would say visit another Dr and tell him/her your side effects and try something else.
  12. Yeah but you dont get occassionally 300 multiples in the temples and 30 doubles and multiples in the front hairline. The 'low" number of 30 I am talking about is in the hairline, not the temples. All front grafts in the temples is also doubles or multiples. Some are 4s in the temple front row. I assume they used all singles behind the front row, thats why the density is bad. I am going to have a new surgery at 12 months, need to cleanup the temples before and redo them.
  13. I made two GIF files aswell, you can see the empty patch in the upper temple at 6 months and the terrible looking temple points. Still this is after about 200 grafts have been removed in 4 laser sessions. It looks MUCH better than it did a couple of weeks ago. In my hairline I have some 20-30 doubles and a couple multiples.
  14. This will be really really nice. That "small" change with just 2k grafts makes a huge amount to the appearance of the hairline.
  15. I did bring cash, 2350 euros, which I did exchange in my native country.
  16. It might be shock loss, you will see after about 6 months. You got to understand that 4450 grafts is a HUGE number, no one who is serious is doing that in 1 day. You see even FueCapilar is splitting a procedure like this, and they are a low cost clinic. I had some shock loss, almost everything came back now after 6 months, just slight overharvesting in the topper part of my donor. Everything else look normal, it will be some painful months now with ugly duckling phase.
  17. I will take some photos with wax and styled from a little bit further away. Just need to let it grow for some more days so it blends better. I always need to cut it very short when doing electrolysis and this is unstyled just straight from the shower. Hopefully there will be more growth, I still see new hairs sprouting when taking closeups. 😊
  18. Indeed, really sick result. It seems like it thickened up abit, or just that the hair matured more at the 12 month mark.
  19. Your hairline looked about done at 6 months, really nice result overall.
  20. Well I have done alot of research on Electrolysis before I started, and yes multiple sessions is neccesary. The hair follicles need to be in the anagen phase for them to be put to sleep for life. That said, usually the grafts who stays alive become more and more minituarized, so if you plan on doing another hair transplant, you could do a couple sessions I assume and you pretty much killed them all and the ones who survived is much less noticeable. Another thing is if you have alot of them sitting in a small area, you cannot go hard in the same spots because you might get scarring then, so that will also make you need more sessions. Not sure about your situation, but your photos is not very clear so I cannot see exactly how many and how bad it looks. I would assume you got multiple grafts and not "plugs" as you call them? They are not done anymore anywhere I would think. If you want to try this route you need to find someone with many years of experience so they know what they are doing.
  21. I have not posted in a bit how it is going, I have just been crying in this thread for the past months. Jokes aside, it has been annoying process but the temples is getting much cleaner now after the electrolysis. My case is fixable, compared to some who got their donor area destroyed at some hair mill, but annoying and a waste of precious grafts(we have removed about 200-220 grafts total, majority triples and quadruples). So this is my 6 month update. So what is my impressions so far? As for now I am pretty ok with the density for the front and front sides. You can see a clear difference in the higher temple areas, specially on one of the sides as you can clearly see in the photos. I wish for more density there, we will see if there is going to be anymore growth or if its done here and just going to thicken up. I think if this will be the end result I would go for a small amount say 500-800 grafts for extra density with another Dr. Please tell me your thoughts.
  22. I would say that your chances of becoming a tech or applying for a job as a tech would be to be a licensed nurse, which is a couple of years of education.
  23. A fun topic. The golden mark is usually said to be the 6 month mark. Usually we see most growth at month 3 to 6. I thought we could make a thread where you post your 6 month mark photo and compare it to your 12 month mark photo to see what progress can be done between these two time stamps. All cases are welcome, preferably it would be ideal if you have high quality photos in the same light on both photos. Let the bombardment with photos begin!
  24. It is starting to look more and more natural. Now I have done some more sessions. You can now see my existing hair for what was only transplanted hair ontop in the lower temples 🙂
  25. He seems very conservative, he is only using manual punches and is doing low max amount of grafts per day. There are cases of him on the Spanish forums, but not many. I got the impression when I talked to him that he was not so interested in forums and marketing or fame, just wanted to do hair transplants the old fashioned way with manual punch and really focus on the individual, he reminds me alot of Dr Muttalip Keser, but more even more conservative. He told me that he likes doing multiple surgeries rather than many grafts in one sitting, which not all patients want but I accept his seriousness. He answered me when I said many is doing 2-4 patients a day? "Why do you think?" I answered "For the $ of course" He said "Yes, FUE is supposed to be done with manual punches and 1 patient a day". He have been doing hair transplant surgery for some 26+ years and teached some of the "most hyped" Drs in Spain today, like Dr Jose Lorenzo. A photo in 2004 with Dr Seiadatan and Dr Lorenzo is watching.
