  1. Everything is right on schedule from what I'm seeing. I went to him and am very happy with the result. Any questions please ask.
  2. I'm about a year in after my transplant with him and I'm very happy. Looking good so far for you. You basically just have to be patient as the first few months are the hardest.
  3. Thanks. Yeah, when I decided to do this I had no idea how good this procedure is. I think people on this forum have had varying results but I doubt anybody has regrets about doing the surgery. It really is amazing what it can do. You'll be so happy you made the decision to go forward with it.
  4. I mean, I can't speak for others but I am real and this thread started a long time before all that stuff. I think he did me well so that is something I like to post about. Sorry you want to have more negative reviews of his.
  5. Here is my nine month update. What do you guys think so far?
  6. The OP opted for the cheaper package offered when he had his HT. The more expensive option was offered which I believe insured single grafts were used on the hairline. That is how it was explained to me at least. I opted to pay the extra 1k and mine seems to be fine. I get the thorough review, but it comes to a point where it gets out of control. The doctor the OP went to was on the cheaper side and he opted for the cheaper of the options and now was expecting every little detail to be perfect. Sometimes you do "get what you pay for"
  7. Being a previous patient of his and knowing how his place worked when I was there, it seems far from a hair mill. I think digi23 had an experience he sees as a negative one in general and it seems mostly because it was a unique procedure involving his temples. Some here may think he's being way too sensitive about it and that it actually wasn't that bad actually. Either way, Yaman did a great job for me and I'm sure many others. I'm sure most haven't posted as it seems like everything online, the negative reviews get the most attention. He seems like a good dr. who just needs to ensure his staff is doing what he wants them to. He has a fairly small office and doesn't seem to be trying to expand and turn into a place doing lots of procedures per day. Just my opinion.
  8. Yeah, I have some side effects from finasteride. I'm hoping I'll be OK on min for now. The cost of the procedure was $3250 US
  9. I'm curious which package you chose when you did your surgery. I had two packages to pick from, one was 1000 or so more expensive than the other. Did you have two options also?
  10. I figured I'd write a short review on Dr. Yaman. I have been very pleased so far, but would love to hear any feedback on the progress. The experience was a good one. The procedure was a bit painful at times and very long. The first couple weeks were annoying with having to be careful, etc but after that everything has been easy. I was on fin for the first 4 months and am now on min 2 times a day. The first 2 pics are before, the next 2 are 4 months in and the last 3 are current at 5 months.
  11. Again, I wish you could take some a bit further away but I think it's looking very good. I see how the electrolysis has helped. I mean, you still have lots of growth to go right? This is only 6 months.
  12. I'm glad you got to speak to him. He does seem like a good guy or at least when I dealt with him when I was there. I have a place local to me in MN (Shapiro) who I'm sure does great work and he is well known. He quoted me a price of $17k for 1500 less grafts Yaman was $3200 and after my flight etc we are probably talking closer to $4500. I basically saved 12k or more. So far I'm liking what I'm seeing but if it's not completely perfect it's still much worth the price difference in my opinion.
