  1. Donor is pristine -- I certainly couldn't tell you got a transplant. You've got nothing to worry about on that front. Otherwise, looks like the hairs are sprouting! If the other Eugenix cases are anything to go by, months 1 - 4 are usually slow, so its to be expected. Month 5 looks to be the turning point, so just a little bit more waiting mate
  2. Bicer must be considered the best in Turkey at this point. Seems like all her stuff as of late turns out to be top class. Congrats man! It's crazy that other clinics steal your photos to advertise, but that speaks volumes about your result!!
  3. This is the best turn around I've seen and perfectly captures the gulf in class between a doctor like Couto compared to ASMED and proof that $$ isn't everything. Crazy to think a few years back he was the most desired doctor and considered one of the elites. The difference is night and day. Your hair looks stunning and so full! I hope everyone else that had a botched job posts their story, because as I said earlier in this very thread, one example of such made me rethink going there and saved me a world of heartache. Thanks again!!
  4. This is really disappointing all around. I mean, you have wonderful hair, but 1,400 grafts shouldn't make your donor look like that. I wish Eugenix had provided a better, more empathetic response instead of placing blame on you. There's plenty of people here who have their hair short without the donor overharvest appearance. Ugh. Eugenix seems to be exceptional the majority of the time. I hope they don't go the way of ASMED, where the rise in popularity results in cases like this. Anyways, if you find a solid repair doctor like Bisanga, perhaps he can move some hairs around the donor to restore its look. Wishing you all the best! Please keep us informed and updated.
  5. Holy hell the difference between month 3 and 4 wasn't much, but 4 to 5 is absolutely massive. Congrats man -- looks like it'll be a very full crown soon!!
  6. Gotcha. Honestly for lower Norwoods, my favorites are the two I mentioned, price or otherwise. They same to get more out of less and I have yet to see misfires from either of them. Everything just looks perfect -- note that the wait times are killer though. There's other amazing doctors like H&W and Zagrev who have stunning results with higher Norwoods, but that may be less applicable in your case. Good luck!
  7. Money doesn't necessarily correlate to best. There's also style preferences between equal caliber doctors. That said, my favorites (both who are on the expensive end) are Dr. Konior and Dr. Couto imo.
  8. I mean it can happen in theory if you start fin and then shed and stop after a shed it can be worse. Can't see another scenario where that would happen though.
  9. Weird. The top right looks great, but the bottom right looks really artificial. Hairlines are usually the best tale. I'm less familiar, but it's a pretty strong v shape. I think he got a jaw implant too lol.
  10. Insane transformation given the graft count. Looks amazing next to the before photo. TBH, on the point about a weaker side, 4000 or even 6,000 grafts given that you were nearly slick bald were never going to get 100% coverage -- that said, I think one more pass of 2,000 and you're golden and won't even look like you're thinning at all. Either way, you look great and can totally pull off the hair you have now. Any sense of # of grafts remaining? Cheers!
  11. Do you have pre-transplant photos? Which doctor was this? Waiting 12 months will probably help -- the area still looks red, and I think there's a chance more can grow, but tbh, if the doctor did the entire scalp then this might be okay. If he/she only focused on the front, I'd expect it to be more dense.
  12. Likewise. Hope the 6 months is starting to look good!
  13. OP -- my father's side has great hair (some diffuse, but not bald anywhere), but my mother's side were all NW6+ slick bald on top. I started losing hair at 22. As I'm nearly hitting 30, I've diffused to the point where my crown is just about gone, but the front is strong. I fully expect to lose it too. Point is if you have one side of the family at NW6, and if you are diffuse thinning (esp. in your crown) in your 20s, there's a fairly high probability that you are heading to where they are. I feel like folks with just frontal recession have less bad luck as that doesn't seem as aggressive. If you can tolerate meds, I'd consider looking into them before you have further loss -- the sooner the better. But if you can't tolerate it, the good news is that there are plenty of doctors who can manage donors well enough. Good luck.
  14. Plenty of doctors on this very forum are fine proceeding without medication. As long as your donor is managed well, I think you can get full coverage and have just enough in the bank for future loss.
  15. Amen. Bisanga is a fantastic doctor and absolutely agreed with him. Mega-sessions for younger men, especially diffuse thinners with remaining hair, seems sub-optimal. Didn't realize the risk of FUT -- thanks for posting this informative video!
  16. Yep, this is accurate. To add, Rassman was fairly popular from around a decade or so ago, but not sure if he's still operating -- someone else may have taken over the clinic. I also think H&W are mostly, if not exclusively, FUE now, no? Haven't seen much of Rahal results lately, who posts very useful information here, but that might be due to lockdown and less USA travelers to Canada. Diep is very controversial nowadays with some folks adoring him and others despising.
  17. Great to see hair there now! I'm sure once grown out over the next month or two, it'll look more full. Still early but lots of growth!!
  18. Honestly, I think 4,000 would be solid. Looks like you're a diffuse thinner. I'd do around 2k in the front and 2k in the crown. 4k-5k seems right imo. 3k, I think is too little...
  19. Full Disclosure: I'm a NW6 and I'm not taking Fin. The general consensus is that if you undergo a transplant without Fin, you'll very likely need an additional surgery, as non-transplanted hair (and possibly some transplanted hairs which were on the border and impacted by DHT) will thin with time. This only poses issues if (i) you lack donor or (ii) you lack the desire (e.g. lack of funds, time, motivation) for future transplants. If you are okay with (ii) and a reputable doctor believes you have the requisite donor per (i), I don't see why undergoing a transplant without Fin is an issue. Keep in mind that hair from the safe zone within the donor region are susceptible to falling out in the future, but this seems to happen very late in life. Fin may also lose efficacy with time (and side effects, some possibly permanent) may appear in the future as well, though they are uncommon. The folks like Tao, Melvin, etc. who succeeded, typically have had 3+ transplants to achieve that level of density - at least in the case of the former two. If that doesn't deter you, I'd say speak to your doctor to get a sense of your donor zone and make that personal judgement. Like I mentioned above, I'd rather do additional transplants and go through 8+ months of ugly duckling phases/surgery costs, than having to medicate for the rest of my life and deal with the potential side effects. Either decision should be respected. EDIT: Noticed that you mentioned having sides before. If I were you, I wouldn't bother, but I can also understand folks telling you to use lower doses or take the dose every other day. Eh. I think if you're susceptible to the sides, there's no point risking your physical and mental well-being to save some hair. Best of luck!
  20. Transplants are rarely perfect, but this is phenomenal for six months!
  21. Dang - great to see another happy Konior patient. His patient care seems second to none. Happy growing!!
