  1. It was 3000 grafts done, or do you mean I only needed 1200 to frontal region at temples? I have asked about redness.
  2. Hair Dr clinic Uk, I have been back in touch today, and just been told it’s coming along nicely. Maybe I am just being impatient, as I do have 4 more months to go till full results, just as it stands now I am very disappointed by the appearance
  3. Hi, I didn’t get any grafts in the crown, just front half of head, this is why I can only style my hair this way, as the crown has a big bald spot that was not touched. So I comb my hair back to hide this area
  4. I had 3000 grafts to front half, as I was advised this was best to do as I had thinning throughout, I have photos in my other thread before. But here is some of them reposted below. And also a post surgery photo, showing distribution.
  5. I did not get a graft breakdown unfortunately. I have been advised by the clinic that this is a long process and takes time and to remain positive. So will hopefully have another review in 4 months at the 1 year mark and discuss more then.
  6. Hi, on month 8 post surgery 3000 grafts. Notable improvement since last time, however I have had several people comment in real life about how my hair looks pluggy, including my barber, who said I must have gone to Turkey, needless to say this has made me a little bit disappointed. However there is still time for it to improve I am aware. I have spoken to the clinic and they said as much, give it more time. Also I am looking for advise on transplants to the temporal triangles, as these didn’t get done first surgery, how many grafts would this take, as I feel this would be of great cosmetic significance as the thinning in this area creates the illusion I have no temporal triangles at all.
  7. I don’t want to disclose that information, but was done in the uk
  8. Hi have added several photos as requested directly on here first 3 are current hair, 6 months after transplant, 2nd 3 are hair couple weeks before transplant shaved head photos are from few months before transplant to get an idea of what loss I was dealing with underneath last 3 photos are immediately after surgery 3000 grafts Last couple photos are after scabs came
  9. Hi, I’m now 6 months post surgery, 3000 grafts, is this looking on track to where it should be? Should start to thicken up next few months from what I’ve read on here? 6 months results https://imgur.com/a/tYHFejW couple weeks before surgery https://imgur.com/a/sZQOTLH
  10. Hi, I took finasteride for 1 year, and switched to dustasteride over 5 months ago, as I saw positive stuff of regrowth from dutaseride online, and experienced no sides from finasteride, so thought why not. Seems to have thickened up my hair overall from baseline on finasteride, not sure if regrowth, or just reversing some of the miniaturised hair. as for hair on the sides, they have been like that for over 10 years with no further change, seems to have been a hormonal thing post puberty, the hair when grown out is more like beard hair, coarser, and wirey. here is photos of my hair from 8 months ago, https://imgur.com/a/HYKDO5p had very long hair then, and shaved it bald to get a true assessment of the hair loss. what I have noticed is lighting plays a massive role in things, some photos I can take and hair looks thick and normal, others look thinner than ever. https://imgur.com/a/J6ypjHo also think I have mixed hair colour throughout, which can make some photos deceiving. as for hairline this is what I would like it to be brought back too, which is basically where it is, just reinforcing it really https://imgur.com/a/O69xW6c I don’t want to disclose where I am getting transplant done yet, but it is one of the ones mentioned above. I’m in sorts of panic mode as the day approaches really and perhaps overthinking things, I know I am doing all the right stuff to maintain existing hair as best I can, and I am aware it is likely I will need further transplants in the future, thanks for all the responses
  11. Hi, New to this forum. I have a hair transplant booked for early October in the UK, quoted for 2000 grafts to correct receded hairline and thinning crown, I do have diffuse thinning throughout my entire MPB area, but have been told they cannot transplant into that area, as there is still too much hair there. here is a link to my photos of my current hair loss https://imgur.com/a/sZQOTLH Also what Norwood would I fall under, given the hairline recession and diffuse thinning/ crown loss. the reason I ask is I seem to see so much varying mileage as to what 2000 grafts can do online. how is my donor? I have been told is is weak and I have to be cautious with creatine a conservative hairline I’m sure I’m missing out some other seductions, so any other stuff you think I should no please tell me, thanks
